today has been successful
got up - 50 sit ups 50 press ups
breakfast- one small bowl cornflakes with oatmilk
actimel

dinner-
one small bowl cornfalkes with low fat yoghurt and a banana

snack - one nectarine

tea- oatcakes, one apple and one small bowl of sultanas
did 45 minutes of circuit training, then went running for 45 minutes then swam for 30 minutes

i think you had too little to eat today. remember to eat above 1200 calories because your body will go into starvation mode and after few weeks you'll stop losing weight. i thought i was eating over but then calculated and one day saw i was actually under the range and that's bad. now i'm focusing on eating healthy and do it between range of 1200 and 1550 cal .
if you need help with that go to they have really great ways to track yourself and what you eat, how much you workout etc :)

ive made up for it today dont worry lol :(
actually havent done too badly. only one small lapse when someone gave me a muffin to try and wouldnt take no for an answer
breakfast: oatibix with oat milk and raisins
dinner- pear, banana, kiwi, muesli bar
snack-muffin
dinner - three pieces of brown toast with spaghetti
one bowl of sultanas
i am going swimming tonight for two hours
should be a nice change from running
 
well you didn't do bad :) the big thing is that you're trying.
the one thing though you should avoid eating bread together with pasta, rice or potatoes. i know its hard to do, but better eat a bowl of salad with it...much less calories but it fills you up more.

If you don't want to eat something from one of those folks, just ask if they'll split it with you. If taking an entire muffin will annoy you or put your numbers off for the day then accept it graciously, have a nibble, and set it aside for later snacking.
I'm a lot less polite about it, but I HATE it when people force something on me, so I tend to encourage them to ask if I would like to try one instead of saying "Hey, you have to try this! Eat up!" and then watching until I eat the whole thing... I HATE that!

but i do agree that i definitely should be more determined to get my own way and do what i really want to do.
last night i swam 4400metres in 1 and three quarters hours. then i had an apple whn i got home.
this morning
breakfast-
two oatibix with oat milk
snack- two breadsticks
dinner-prawn sandwich on brown bread
nectarine
snack-4 large snack a jacks
tea- vegetable stew
tonight i went running with my dad.
i did 6.4km round the fields and felt really good
i feel i have had quite a good day today :]

man you're working out a lot :) i too love swimming, but in my hometown we have olympic swimming pool, but its closed for recreation since last year, so i have to wait for the summer to go swimming in the sea :) thank god for that lol

yeah - i prefer to exercise than cut out the food.. if that makes sense. i would rather work out rlly hard and eat healthy. i know i can keep that up instead of depriving myself.
and wow lucky you to have an olympic pool :0 when i used to race i raced in olympic sized pools but i dont really compete anymore.
erm i meant to mention that in last nites diary - the link u gave me for the sparks counter thing was a link to a dating site and im nt entirely certain that that was the link you meant to give me!
today:
breakfast- 2 oatibix with honey and oat milk
dinner - apple and 4 rice crackers (i was in a real hurry to get to class)
snack-bowl of cornflakes with oatmilk
for tea we are having pasta .. but i know for a fact that mum will smother it in this thick sauce :|
i will just have to control my portion size as i dont think i have taken in very many calories today.
also had pe class this afternoon so did 1hrandhalf of handball then cos i had forgotten my bus money i had to walk home frm school :| but it actually took me the same amount of time as waiting for and catching all the buses.
:) i was very pleased. i think its about 5 miles.. not entirely sure though
also i have avoided weighing my self complusively this week. i have set aside sundays as weighing day.

no fair.
i think i did pretty well..i only had two helpings. usually it would be about 4 lol
and then i had an apple and a massive glass of water to make sure i was hungry. have walked some more - walked to piano lesson and back (about half hrs walk in total) - every little helps :cool:

mom will be mom. mine is the same...not fair sometimes. the day i started this diet she turned and said do you want me to make pizza tomorrow for lunch? hahaha i said no, and she still made it :) like "that piece won't kill you". but she can't help it. i'm trying to make her understand...eventually she will.
anyway, you just keep doing what you've been doing.

snack - soya rice thing :S wasnt nice

exercise .. .erm well i did intend on going running this afternoon but didnt get round to it as i got stuck in town due to bus problems
walked part way bak from town so have done about 40 mins walking today. not a good day for exercise. but i have another race tomorrow so :)

of course i don't mind :) i'm 28. and yes unfortunately i still live with my parents since croatia is pretty poor country. can't afford to live alone even though this might change soon since i heard rumours about some kind of promotion :) anyway, if you want to know more about me, click on my nick and view my profile (although its really general).

hehe used to that question about croatia lol :) it is a small country east of italy. and its very beautiful. now being a true croatian (we love to brag about our country) i'm advising you to google it and look at images hehe. maybe one day you'll decide to come for holiday.
as for my day, its been pretty good. still thinking if i'll go out tonight. kinda feel like hitting the clubs and dancing the night away, but have to check with my friends.

erm i have a good general fitness and i am a runner but i gained weight when i had a lung infection and couldnt train.
i want to return to my pre infection weight which was 7 and a half stone ish. My starting weight was 9st and ive lost two pounds so far in a week. I find it very hard to lose.
How do i know how much i should be eating?
thanks lena :) getting my geography up to scracth. so like is english the language there then? or is it croatian and your just fantastic at speaking english?
my parents have friends who come from there aparently.
 
calorie total for today came to 1588.
is this about right for weight loss?
with my exercise calories that i burnt taken off it comes to 1376
