I am so glad to see you're on here again! I've been gone for quite a while myself. That is awesome that you are going to try Weight Watchers again. I look forward to seeing how it works out for you this time around!


I love that you are looking back at your "old" self and listing the reasons WHY you're doing this. I am doing the same. I found a picture from the half marathon I ran in May of 2010 - I put it as my profile picture on facebook and wrote the caption "the "ME" i want to be again"


What are your greatest challenges this time around? Or what do you think is going to be most difficult trying to get back to where you were? Mine is DEFINITELY drinking! I drink and party way to much - beer belly's are NOT COOL!!! :cuss:

Sarah, I think my drinking will be the biggest problem as well but with the new WW plan you get 49 *free* points a week so I'm planning on saving them for the drinkies!! So glad you're posting again my lovely, will be nice to support each other :D


jmlw -- ahaha "ameeeeeen sister". Seriously. Fucking friction from my fat thighs ruining my jeans is not fun. And then they go all red and sore and I walk like I have something stuck up my bum. Not fun at all.




So, meeting was a nightmare. Turned up at 6:40 for the meeting starting at 7pm and there was like me and 4 other people there waiting and no one else showed up. And then one of the ladies got a text from the leader saying that the meetings at that place had been cancelled due to lack of interest! So everyone apart from me and this other lady were like "Maaaaan, it's a sign, I'm going home for a curry." And I knew if I went home I wouldn't have the motivation again so I got us a cab down to Eastney for another meeting that had started at 6:30 and guess what, it was run by the lady who ran it when I was there 2 years ago! And she remembered me. Oh the shameeee. But I got a lot of WW food and got registered and stuff so going back there next Tuesday :D Excited!

Hey Hana- I'm so happy that you didn't go home for a curry!!!

And I'm sure that your group leader has seen her share of people returning- there's no shame in trying again. The only really shameful thing is giving up when you know you can do better, right?

It's fun that you're excited about it and so motivated!

I guess you weighed in and it wasn't so bad?


Your calories for the day look quite low. I seem to remember *someone* telling me that 1000 calories isn't enough and you're below that. You take care of yourself, ok? You have a demanding job and can't be starving yourself, dear.
 
Thanks Rox, I was intending on eating again before bed but was soooo sleepy. One day of less calories wont hurt me though :D Today will be well over 1000! Promise :p


Yeah, they weighed me in at Weight Watchers. I'm 15st 7lbs (217lbs) and I should be 12st 6lbs (174lbs) at the most. So I have at least 3 stone to lose. I can do itttttttttttt :D


So today I have work and then I'm helping my very pregnant friend move house with Yank. So we'll be doing lots of lifting, carrying and walking all evening which will be good exercise! Then she's ordering take-out, but I'm going to take over a salad and have just 1 or 2 slices of pizza with a large salad instead of a whole pizza to myself!

So yesterday I had :


Lunch: sammich (230) WW crisps (88) WW bar (89)

Dinner: 4 slices of pizza (900)

Snacks: bottle of wine!! (700)


Total: 2007 OH MY GODDD


Such a fatty yesterday. It would have been fine without the wine! Dammit! However, I got lots of exercise in--2 hours of intense cleaning (on knees under shelves, hoovering, putting up curtains, etc) so I feel very sore today.


I seem to have caught the tummy bug that's been circulating at school so I'm currently off work until Monday. Been sick a few times and very squiffy tummy so feeling very poorly and sorry for myself!

So wont be eating much today, hopefully, to make up for last night!


Breakfast: ww crisps x 2 (176)

Lunch: skipped
Dinner: 3 taco shells, small amount of lean beef mince, slightest amount of cheese and some lettuce (458)
Snacks: wineeee

I'm being very naughty and going to Nandos before the cinema tonight. But I'm working out the calories now!

So that will put my calories at 1018 for the day. Which is fine :D UNLESS, I have popcorn at the cinema later. Which is about 450 calories. Which would still be fine. I WIN EITHER WAY :D
 
Calories were good for yesterday. No drinking either!

Breakfast: 2 crumpets (200)

Lunch: WW spag (98)

Dinner: Casserole (home-made) - 164 pasta (110)

Snacks: Crisps (117) string cheese (64)
 
Had a very healthy day yesterday :) Back to work tomorrow so today I'm cleaning, tidying and having a lovely long bath! Went out last night but drank within my calories and am now re-heating some of my lovely low-cal casserole :D I weighed myself this morning and it says I'm 15st 2lbs which would make me 212 down from 217! But I'm not holding my breath as I think I was dehydrated and also my scales are very strange and often lull me into a false sense of security before my weigh in. I'm hoping to have lost 2lbs this week but it's been a learning curve for me as it's my first week back on WW properly. I've kept within my calories most days but done hardly any exercise at all so we'll see what Tuesday brings, I suppose.

Slow cooking another casserole (courgette, chicken and WW bacon). Think I may have a slow-cooking problem. 2 in 24 hours is toooo muchhhhh slowwww coooooking.
 
AYou're doing great, hun! After googling what a courgette is (LOL), your casserole sounds yummy!! Enjoy your day and your bath, that sounds wonderful! :)
 
Thanks my sweet! Calories for yesterday were very low. I did NO SNACKING AT ALL! Which is very unlike me. I just had 3 bowls of casserole with a little bit of rice. And it was deliciousssss. Think my calories were at about 1500. Which is fine!


Tomorrow is weigh-in day so I turned down a request to be taken out for dinner tonight and am going tomorrow after my weigh in instead. Cheeeeeeky.


Work sucked today--Very hard work. And I came home with child snot and horrible things all over. Love them all to bits but their disabilities are so challenging. Back out to another shift soon so resisting the snacking. Am having a WW meal tonight.

I lost 2.5lbs!

Very pleased with myself :) So now I am 15st 4.5lbs. 214.5lbs.


And I drank a lot of wine this week! Next week will be even better!

I brought two packs of yummy WW bars at my meeting tonight. Toffee popcorn bars and peanut chocolate bar! And only 78 calories each! Taste like a snickers or something :D

Yank is taking me out for dinner tonight as he wanted to treat me and hasn't been able to afford it for a while. So I'm going for Italian. Tonight will be my cheat night. And I've been very good today!!!

Yours is very inspirational, I like the way you use positive affirmations/goals, it's a tool that helps me too, a lot.... sometimes I even write positive affirmations on big pieces of paper and stick them to my fridge.


Luckily I live alone, so no one is around to think I'm a loony :)
