Skyler's new diary

Well, weigh in day today and I am at 136. It is interesting b/c I am actually satisfied b/c I reached 136 two weeks ago and have managed to stay down this low. I don't remember (i've really been trying & i think it was over 3 yrs ago?) when I was this low last...so for now, i am satisfied with maintaining. I do wish to lose 3 lbs in April which has been my average since this all began....

ate 1100 calories

weighed in at 135.5 today ;)
 
Whoo-hooo! Awesome! Congrats on further loss! You're doing great, except kind of low on calories, but I guess you'll make up tonight since its your cheat day?

ate 1366 calories

week 2, day 6 - saturday-
exercise - nada - bad :(
calcium and multi - 1 calcium & 1 multi
4 ripped fuel - at work! so none
water - 20 oz :(
at least 10,000 steps - left pedometer at work - yikes!
arm exercises (ball & pushups)- yes
ate 1242 calories

i went for my dress fitting for my wedding today and since oct 1 (when i originally bot the dress) i lost 4.5 inches in my waist, 2.5 inches in my chest, and 3 inches in my middle!!!!!!!! holy moly - 10 inches gone!!

YES!!! thank you paula for all the help - guess i am replacing fat with muscle!! hooray!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i totally splurged today and ate a cheese burger with french fries. truthfully, i dont feel that guilty about it, which is odd...i have had a craving for one for probably 6 months now and i know i am supposed to treat successes with non-food items but it is all i have wanted for a while so i ate one..and now i am back to being 'good' and dieting & exercising...i'm chalking this weekend up to a cheat weekend and jumping right back in FULL FORCE on Monday!!! NO question about that...

Sooo, i fill in my daily 'confessional' later...but overall, i'm expecting small exercise and about 1500 calories of food.

Wow.. girl you are ALMOST at your goal!! I am so proud of you and so impressed. :) Can't wait to harrass you via email later today. :) Hope you're having a great start to your Monday... you're doing awesome.

And you deserve a cheat once in awhile!! ;)

pretty much ended up where i thought...not too too too bad for a cheat day to the extreme!!!!

look at you, having the occasional cheeseburger and doin juuust fine;)

walking for two hours in stupendous! thats gotta be what, about 6 miles? even at a regular pace! good job!
 
thanks kate!! and you were totally right about me replacing fat with muscle....stupid me lost my measurements a while back so i had no clue (other than feeling my clothes getting looser) so when i went to the dress fitting and they had my actual measurements and where i am today, i was thinking, 'wow, kate, paula, dana, ntl - yall are awesome!!!!!!'
 
yes maam - you are right!!!!! And, not sure if you saw the post from a few days back but i lost 10 inches overall (4.5 in waste, 2.5 in chest, and 3 in hips from oct 1). whoo-hoo!!!!!!!!!
 
Skyler, congrats on inches lost! That is AWESOME! You see!!! all that hard work is paying off! You are in progress even though stupid little number in scales is not telling us much. :) Inches lost is all that we are looking for anyway, is not it?
