yes, kate, you are totally right. i am starting to notice and peopel are actually commenting and it is such hard work but it really is worth every ounce gone...

and to put it in perspective, yes, i have lost 22 lbs. and as i tell the rest of you - that is great. and i should learn how to 'pat myself on the back' for that but it is easier said than done (just like taking the bike!) :)
 
First of all.. I am confused why you are thinking yesterday was not the best. Granted you didn't ge t some of the "extra" things in, bu you know you got 10,000 steps..and that was the goal. and you did fine calorie wise. SO no worrying over that! And today is a new day, adn you can do more today.. :) make up for whatever you think you missed yesterday. ;) Keep up the good work!! You are getting there!!

But if you don't start patting yourself on the back.. I could come start kicking you in the butt. Always wanted to visit Boston.. plus I have a friend or two there already. :D

Dana, mydear, i didnt have 10000 steps, i had more like 6000 and NONE of the water or extra stuff so that is why..

and if you want to come kick some butt - come on up to boston (but i do recommend the summertime and bring that sid of your!)

man, i have to do that more often. literally got out of the office and walked around for 40 minutes. it is great. i wish i did that more. just have to figure it out and go!!
 
soooooo, i just bumped into my old boss (since december i switched) and he commented on me looking GREAT and thinner & then the male response of 'um, not that you were ever..duh duh duh before'....but unnecessary and i THINK not with a motive...so...hmmmm...a compliment on all this hard work?!?!! :D
 
my confessional for yesterday (week 1, day 4):
thursday - walked 40 minutes
cardio - pilates tonight (phew!)
calcium and multi- 2 calcium & a multi
4 ripped fuel - 4
water - 90 oz
at least 10,000 steps - 11,000 +
circuit training thursday - yup
arm exercises (ball & pushups)- forgot pushups again! oops!!!! but actually did them at pilates so got that covered :)
walk the dogs - up!
ate _1350_ calories


my confessional for today (week 1, day 5):
friday -
exercise - OFF DAY
calcium and multi- 1 calcium so far
4 ripped fuel - 4
water -
at least 10,000 steps -
arm exercises (ball & pushups)-
walk the dogs -
ate ____ calories


sooo, today is my weigh in day and i was a little apprehensive (to say the least) b/c i weighed in on monday, i believe and it said i dropped 2 lbs and truthfully, i didnt believe it soooooo, this morning i expected it to be back or at least 1 or 1 and 1 1/2 BUT, IT STAYED AT 136. hooray!!!!!

i give paula all my credit...the slow process does work! (yes, that came out of my mouth!)

Congrats girl!!! Yep.. the slower does work. ;) In fact, its more likely that it stays off when it goes that way!!! :D

Now.. as for that compliment, that's great!! You gotta love those! :D
 
Yep... Congrats, girl, I'm so happy on your weight thing! You're doing great! If even clueless guys notice, you MUST be kicking ASS!!! I bet you lost more inches then lbs. :)
