:waving::waving: hi guys,
so yeah still going with this new way of life, hopnig to find a better slimmer sexier me! thought id do a lil diary so i can keep my own tab, also any adive pleasee feel free.
so oki ill start with yesterday
i had cereal for breakfast wholegrain 110 cals
lunch i had a lil bag of fruit 100cals and a weight watchers wrap 250 cals
dinner i had sweet and sour chicken stir fry prob guessing about 600 cals give or take a lil
so around 1000cals
also went to the gym and did 45mins spin class and then ten mins cross trainer to warm up and did some v sits with medicine ball some squates and pull ups




forgot to add i currently weight around 10st or jsut over so about 142lbs and im 5ft6

Hi, and welcome to the forum :)

The first advice I'll give anyone is that you shouldn't be eating under 1200 calories unless you have medical advice (preferably from a dietician). 1200 calories is supposed to be the least amount of calories needed for a very small (think 5 foot and under) and very sedentary (which you're not) woman.

The second thing I'll recommend you do is that, if you're going to calorie count, work out your calories more precisely. Get a calorie counting program (fitday, myfitnesspal, cron-o-meter) and a set of digital scales (the ones I got were relatively inexpensive) and weigh and record everything that goes into your mouth. Otherwise you simply don't know what you're eating. (If you check out my diary, I weigh everything I can and use cron-o-meter, that's the kind of information you can get out of a program. Well, you can get more than that with cron-o-meter, but for me that's the information I want)

Do you know how many calories you should be eating, or are you just trying to eat less? I've already said 1000 is too low- but you need to work out what a good number for you is. Use this website to figure that out:
 
thanks for advice i usually weigh food and go by the weight on the food packaging however meal was cooked for me so had to guesstimate by how many cals are in the chicken and all that bit of a pain really.

i try to eat under 1500cals a day as i found that personally i need to to maintain weight loss.

umm boo so today not going to well started off good thoguht
had 250cals weetabix for breakfast
for lunch i had weight watcher meal and small amount of grapes 300 cals
but then i got hungry just now and had to eat a chicken wrap with 250cals
im sure ill work it off in the gym later on xx
 
I wouldn't assume you work anything off in the gym, it's really just a bonus. The numbers on machines and stuff are horribly inaccurate (you need a heartrate monitor to give you anything approaching an accurate amount).

If you find you're hungry, try a low calorie alternative- fruit and vegetables usually hit the spot for me.
 
im burning around 500cals in a gym sesh as i work at high intensity for 45mins with a personal trainer so yee ill get there eventually x
 
woo day 4 here i come!
so today is going pretty well so far booked in for a spin session later on hoping to get abit more cardio in today aswell
had my cereal for breakfast 300cals
sarni for lunch 504 cals
apple for a snack
dinner will be a weight watchers meal 350cals
so around the 1300 mark for cals today which is a lil better as long as im under 1500 its fine
looking forward to the gytm aftr going to post some pics later on too x

not been on much over the weekend so here goes today
breakfast two pieces of wholemeal toast 200cals
lunch two small wraps with tiny amount of cheese and lettuce with an apple 400
dinner was a weightwatchers meal 200cals i aded some stuffing a small scoop so be fair to say 300 cals
plus dessert of pineapple 100cals
so around about 1000cals

doing better than yesterday i only managed 600cals
i know i really need to keep up with my cals but somedays i look at myself n think i should just not eat.
 
ok so had a mini binge last night nothing bad but i think maybe i didnt eat enough coz i was shaking and feeling sick and dizzy so had some choc bics and a cracker
but that was yday so todayy
breackfast 1/4 bowl of cereal and half a slice of toat 200cals
lunch was a small sandwich
weight watchers cake 1apple and 1 pear washed down with some diet coke 342cals
dinner was a weight watchers meal 247cals and a weight watcher ice cream 183
so around about 1000cals
going spinning tonight for 30mins plus some cardio on cross trainer hopefully 20mins

Those symptoms sound like low blood sugar. You either need to eat more or manage your blood sugar better (moderate sugary/ high GI foods that will lead to a sugar crash, eat more regularly during the day, that sort of thing).

yee totally my mum is diabetic just one of those days didnt really think i had done that much but i must of done i guess xx
 
^ What Sunflower said. I try to make 1200 my absolute minimum no matter what (except for things like the day I was in bed with a migraine, could barely move, and wanted to be sick all day. I forgive myself for only having 800 calories on days like that. Any other day, if I find myself under 1200- even if it's 1175- I go have something else to eat). Anything less is starving yourself, and that's risky business.
 
im not doing it on purpose just i feel bad when im full up, guess i like being hungry its odd i know

soo today =] i have been trying to eat more having just made myself eat some pasta as a snack
breackfast 250cals cornflakes and a pear
lunch1 1/2 sandwhichs and a weight watchers cake 368
plus 50cals of pasta stuff
for tea having a weight watxhers meal 300 cals
and maybe an ice cream =D
been to gym only did 30mins todat just bit of spin and few toning exercises been cleaning aswell
 
If you like being hungry, try high calorie foods. 25g of my favourite nut mix (honey roasted peanut and cashew) is 150 calories. 25g is about a quarter of a handful for me. I promise, eat stuff like that, and you'll have enough calories in your body, and you'll be starving.
 
Just be careful not to go over- they're incredibly high calorie density. But they're a good way to get your calories and nutrition while eating a whole lot less. (hence why I don't eat them- I have a big appetite)

ok so yesterday i did eat more like 1500 cals did have some crisps like half a bag but its cool coz i said id never stop myself eating nice things did near an hour spinning too so i think i earned them =D
today
i had breakfast was cereal and apple 250
weight watchers ice cream 183 cals
lunch i had a wrap and few spoons of spag bol so 320 cals
so 753 cals so far today
gonig to my new gym later on so excited i joined up yesterday and treated myself to a new outfit and it was a size smaller which is even better coz i only want to drop one more dress size to my goal,
definatly feeling motivated
also been to stables and done some cleaning out and 20 mins of sweeping which is all good =D
cant wait to show off some flesh on holiday now

hey guys just woke up n its a lovely day going to head off to the gym and riding soon
had some breakfast it was half a bowl of cereal and a piece of toast adding upto 300cals
snack i had a banana which i think is 83 cals
lunch i had two weight watcher wraps with low fat filling 271 plus a nectarine 56 cals
snacki had an apple 53cals
dinner was tomatoe chicken with an handful of chips and a teaspoon of extra light mayo 483 cals
so ive had 1246 cals so far today =]

forgot to add decided to weigh myself today not exactly sure why but glad i did feeling more motivated now lost 2lbs this week so far and still got two days left =]
