Wow shell I can’t believe a baby would be able to break it either :confused: . I will try and help find you some recipes for cookies are you just after wheat ones or will any low fat ones do?
 
Aww, too bad about your cookies and the elliptical! Hopefully you'll find a new recipe and your husband will be able to fix the machine. I agree with amomono, you need to get some fruits and veggies in your diet in order to add fiber and fill you up so you stay away from the junky stuff. Hope the scrapbook is coming along!
 
Well I have actually stayed at my weight of 155 after easter which is huge cause normally I eat everything in sight. I didn't do that though, I kept thinking about the clothes I want to fit into and it worked. Yay!
 
Thank you all for your replies. I am still very upset about the eliptical. My hubby didn't get a chance to fix it cause he had to work on Sat. and then easter was out of the question.
rosered~I want to look for wheat recipes, since they are healthier than the all purpose flour ones. Thank you for the search.

Snack:
chocolate
about 200 cals.

Dinner:
Spaghetti
w/ veggies

I also exercised for 30 min to my tae bo tape. My back is sore now. argh, I need to get into shape. Well gotta start somewhere I guess. 30 mins is pretty good. Maybe tonight I can do a short exercise.

Lunch:
yogurt
cheese sandwich w/ pump. bread

feeling pretty good today. Going to exercise more today (I have a calender from Shape that keeps track of your exercise which is great!). I have a ton of cleaning to do. I have been spring cleaning and getting rid of a lot of stuff.
Anyone have ant tips about easter candy? It is really evil! I seperated the chocolate and put it all in the freezer and the sugary stuff is in a cookie jar. So I really can't see it but I know where the chocolate is and it's bad! :(

im still ashamed to post up my food list cause its just... not good.
but i say u should give away the chocolate to a close by charity place with kids:) that way its not wasted AND it makes someone smile.

It sounds liike you are doing great =) thanks for the encouragement in my own journal... I have been having trouble staying focused on watching what I eat, but it's good knowing that people are looking and watching and keeping me accountable.

yeah i'm actually volunteering at a homeless center right now :)
i look forward to it so much every week! the ppl that work there are so awesome! and i am beginning to realize that even though a lot of the homeless people are quite dysfunctional, they are still in existance no matter how much we prefer to ignore them. and i admire the few people in our society that step up and take care of the situation, instead of bitching and complaining as they walk around the homeless ppl. the same applies to the autism kids i work with. yeah its easy to turn a blind eye and just walk away and smell the roses, but these kids are a part of our communities everyday. maybe it is pointless to have all these staff pouring their hearts into teaching them all these little things, for i doubt any of these kids will ever be able to function in a normal society. but someone has to do it. to take care of them and help make their lives a little more meaningful. it may seem pointless but it's what makes us human beings. the responsibility of having compassion, of caring.

That's awesome that you are able to volunteer so much! I wish I could. 2 kids, 3 and 7 mon. makes doing that kinds stuff hard.
Thank you all very much. Not sure what it is lately but I have been down and very tired. Unmotivated as well!
Easter was fun but myson got a bad cold from someone. The past 3 nights have been sleepless. This winter has been so tuff for him! Sometimes I wonder if me being home with him and we don't go out often, makes it easier for him to get sick because he is never exposed to other bugs and stuff. Feel so bad for him. My poor guy.
My daughter is fine though. I'm very thankful for that!
My weight has crept up but not so much at about 155-156. Hopefully this week will get better. I did quit smoking (never in the house cause of my babies.) Hopefully that will help.
 
good for you!!!! quitting smoking is really hard, but it is a much healthier choice. I know from friends who have quit that it can really cause your weight to fluxtuate as most people deal with cravings by turning to food. I hope that you are able to find something to help you out with that and keep you going =) good luck!

Today is a good day. My son is doing great. Seems like he has gotten his appetite back from this cold and the weather and going to be great. That means outside we go!!! :D Yay!
I have also great news about the weight loss. I am back down to 153. I am so excited about this. I have cut out the junk and started eating more veggies and fruit and voila. I also started drinking a lot more water because I was not drinking enough of that. I am giong to try on some of my clothing to see what will fit but I doubt anything will. Just more motivation!!! Hopefully today is a great day.

Lunch:
Salad~ romaine lettuce, spinach, tuna, cheese, red onion, tomato, fat free dressing, wheat germ
Cals: I'd say about 350, which is pretty good, it was very tastey and healthy :p

Snack:
2 jelly beans
1 orange

Dinner:
pasta
spaghetti sauce w/ ground turkey
grilled veggies
hot sauce

snack:
couple pieces of chocolate

I had a rough night last night. We got a mailing that said that my husband owed an insurance company that we don't use, so I called them. They said that he was on the policy with another person that I didn't know and there where 4 cars on the policy. I was furious, and she tried to say "Did you talk to your husband about this"...like he has the money to have 4 other cars on the side. Come on now. I was so pissed off. We have been toegther for 5 years, I think I'd know by now! I'm not exactly sure what happened but when I called last night they said that they were closed, my husband called them this morning and they said they took care of everything that night. :confused: So I really don't know what to do. I am going to make a copy of that bill so that if it happens again we can get it taken care of faster. I thought with getting an insurance policy they have to have you ssn, so we are having our credit reports pulled. grrrrr.
