Weight-Loss September 10 Pound Challenge

I just joined the forum today, and I'd like to join the challenge. This is my second day dieting/exercising and my start weight is 200 pounds.
 
6 lbfor me so far this month! :eek: (I'm almost skeeered to say anything! Maybe I'll jinx myself?? :confused: :) )
 
I don't seam to budge

One pound seams to all I've lost so far. I'm doing a lot of exercise too. Curves, then a total body circuit training video and a belly dance video. Maybe to tomorrow will show some change.
 
Mechelle, have you taken your measurements? Because it sure sounds like you should be building muscles there!

Not in a while

:cool: I've not measured in a while. I'm going to soon. It's one of the things we do at Curves. I hope I'm losing inches, the lbs. aren't wanting to come off! Yes, my name is really spelled with an e! I've been asked that all my life!!lol

Mechelle - keep up all the exercise and I am sure you will see a difference, and don't forget to drink plenty of water :)
 
Doing Better

I lost 1/2 a lb. this week so far. I'm drinking my water and doing tons exercise. I keep expecting to drop 5 lbs. any time now!! lol:p
 
Congratulations on the weight loss everyone. Will post my weight tomorrow. About half way through the challenge, keep up the good work everyone, we can do it!!
 
I lost 2.8 pounds again this week. Sooooooo pleased :) I still have 2 weeks left till my birthday party and I am 1.8 pounds away from goal.

I had a wee accident so i wont be able to do weights this week - going to have to find something that doesnt affect cracked ribs and torn hand ligamints etc :)

September has been a decidedly suck month - though i had 3lb loss last week so not all is bad :)
Beats loosing nothin at all!
 
You are doing sooo good. Mind if I ask how? Maye I could try it and do that good Too!

I have just been sticking to a 1200 calorie diet. Including loads of veggies and salad but also indulging my chocolate cravings with a small bar each day. Haven't been doing formal exercise but I walk 3 miles each day to and from work and spend most of the day on my feet so I think that counts for something. The big thing that has helped me is drinking 3 litres of water a day, it stops me feeling hungry and has made my skin 100 times better!

Oh dear - that sounds dreadful, hope you are healing well and taking it easy, those things will take time to heal and if you don't let them you could end up with problems in the long-term. Keep up all the good calories and I am sure the weight will keep dropping off, you ahve been doing brilliantly so far!

I have been doing weight Watchers and counting all my points. Weekends are bad for me, but I weighed this morning and did better than I thought. I'm trying to do tons of exercise, so I can get this off!!

I'm on WW too and totally love it! I hate when I have to say oh I can't eat that I'm dieting...and on WW I never say that just make better choice and when I choose that pizza just eat less points during the day...
 
I cannot believe I've forgotten to log in here. I'm weighing in at 199 right now. :):):):) Down from 212 and still going, baby! WOOOO HOOO!
