It was pretty good....it was a friend's birthday and we went to the Mexican restaurant. Which was usually my downfall...between a couple margaritas, the chips and salsa and some really high cal, high fat meal I would easily blow several days worth of calories!!! LOL!!!
But yesterday I planned my calories ahead of time and I ate 8 chips, a salad with grilled chicken and pico de gallo. Pretty low cal but I still felt fulfilled. And since I didn't drink a margarita I feel pretty alert this morning, unlike some of the others we were with!!
And the scale showed a 0.6 loss this morning. So all in all, Miss rose, I would say it was a pretty good day. (Oh, and I went shopping after work and bought a few pretty things, that's always a sign of a good day as well).
I leave on Tuesday for a week's vacation, so I will be MIA for a while. But I've already got a plan for my eating healthy on vacation. I'm stopping at a grocery store the minute we land and I'm getting what I need to get me through. We won't be eating out a lot since we are staying with the in-laws so that will be good for me. And I don't eat much the days I fly so that will be two really low cal days within the week. Maybe I'll see a loss when I return. Which is UNHEARD of for me. We shall see.
Boy, I have such a weakness when I go out to dinner with friends...your will power is inspiring. You are doing so well, I imagine you will breeze through your inlaw vacation! I know if I had to stay with my inlaws....I would probably eat just so I wouldn't go CRAZY!!!!
That was a really smart idea-planning ur meal ahead of time. I think I will have to try that next time my family wants to go out for dinner. How much water do u drink a day? Half your weight in ounces? That was what I was told to do anyway.
MissMeliss, I probably get in about 80 ounces a day. Maybe more on the days I do the treadmill. I think anything more than the regular eight 8 ounce glasses a day is good. Thank you so much for visiting my diary.
And twinmom, I will be taking the biggest bottle of water I can find on the plane!! Plus I will drink the bottles of water they provide. I think my plane time ends up being someting like eight hours. So I will need lots of H20!!!

Well look at you changing your life hun, im so proud of you and toping it off with a loss. Vacation ay have fun and enjoy yourself, don’t stress over the small stuff. Oh a wedding free grog
No treadmill today....I needed a nice relaxing day before I go away. And I ate a little more than usual calorie-wise because I don't like to eat much the day before and the day of flying. So the next two days are probably going to be under the 1000 calorie mark. Which I know is not good diet wise. But I have to do it for travel purposes.
Scarlett, hope you have fun while you're gone! I take a break from the treadmill on occassion too, sometimes you just need to relax and that's okay! Hope everything is going else for you otherwise. Take care!
okay I'm going to go ahead and post what my calories will be for the next two days since I really have to stick to them for travelling purposes. Mostly I'm going to be doing liquids (some kind of meal substitute / protein shake).

Will Burn = 400
Net = 600
Tuesday's Calories
Will Eat = 1100
Will Burn = 400
Net = 700

You have all been tremendous support for me and have really made me feel at home in this community. Every day I look forward to reading your journals and seeing what you all have been up to....the struggling to exercising through pain and injuries, the creative meals you make, the emotional ups and downs, the BREAD BANS!!!!! I really love it here, so a big thank you to all. You are wonderful, beautiful, smart, determined and courageous women.
