Scarlett's Diary - Tomorrow is another day

hey Scarlett, well done for the baggy size 14's a funny story occured to me while thinking of them.

These trousers I'm currently wearing were nearly thrown out in January even though I really like them. The reason for this was that I was at work one day and the zip burst. :eek: My mum managed to fix it but it meant I had to spend about 2 hours in work nervously pulling my fleece over my trousers so no one would see. Never again!:rolleyes:
 
Scarlett, don't be additcted to the scale. You can tell a lot more from the dressing room and you're doing great. Have a fantastic week!
 
Hi everyone and thanks for dropping by.

Y'all are not going to believe this.....I just bought four pairs of jeans. What size you ask? TWELVE!!!!!! I fell over in the dressing room, knocked my head on the bench and had to be rushed to the emergency room. Okay, not really....but it could have happened.

I could not believe it....the last time I was in twelves I had to have weighed at least twenty pounds less than I do now. That treadmill is a miracle worker I tell ya!!!!

It sucks that you gotta spend money for clothes that fit better, but I think the EXCELLENT feeling you get in buying a lower size is so worth it!

I remember when Zeller's (department store in Canada) used to have a guarantee that if your kids wore out their clothes before they outgrew them, they'd replace them for free - I think some place should offer the same thing but backwards: if you out-shrink your "fat" clothes before you wear them out, you can get the size smaller for free!
 
man I thought it was a buzz buying new jeans this week that were 2 sizes smaller than I was a couple months back. I totally cant wait till i can get into 10-12! hehe

Update on the plateau.....BUSTED!!!! Down another 1.2 pounds. It's been so long I had trouble remembering how to change my ticker! LOL!!!!

WELL DONE on getting back into the size 12s! That's brill, go you! I can't wait til I'm at that point... thinking about it, I don't think I've ever been a size 12 :confused: But great going, hun!
