Scarlett's Diary - Tomorrow is another day

Wooo Hooo!
Look at that, new renovation done, new wheels! You are going for the whole New You Package, aren't you?
;)

I have to say, I do love having time ALONE!! once in awhile! Enjoy your time Scarlett!

So what are you watching?

Today it was a movie called One More Kiss with Scottish hunk Gerard Butler. Tomorrow I can choose from a BBC series with Sean Bean, several episodes of Lonesome Dove the series or an old movie from 1988 called Bonanza The Next Generation where the sons of Adam, Hoss and Little Joe come back to save the ranch. Talk about nostalgia!!!! Then once I'm done with those I have exactly 124 more in my netflix queue. I think that should keep me walking for a while!!!

M2M, that cracked me up!!! Yeah, I better be careful or my hubby won't even recognize me!

I laughed so hard thinking of you on your treadmill watching Hoss, Little Joe and the gang. Hey that house on wheels you got looks like you could fit a hot tub in it. How about swinging by and picking some of the girls up? I'll bring the Margaritas! I love the color!

Ms. scarlett a gmc, nice choice..... I got a ford once and well after the wreck there were ford parts all over the road lol. Dont for get the rule, after you get it gotta smoke the tires at least once.

Oh I'm a big Sharpe fan! My sister, brother-in-law, myself, and a female friend have even started a Sharpe diet club. My Bro-in-law cooks a gourmet, but low cal meal, we watch Sharpe and then we exercise. I vote for the Sean Bean series.

Piney, well we've got a trip planned to the outlet mall next weekend...you are welcome to come and it's not just because you said you'd bring the margaritas!!!! LOL!!! You really know my soft spots, dontcha!!!

hillbillylee, there was a real pretty Ford Excursion sitting right next to it, but I've always been scared to own a Ford. Heard too many bad things about them. I'm kind of a Chevy girl, so GMC was the next best thing. I'll let you know when I smoke some tires....I'm still in the driving like a granny phase of ownership! LOL!!!

Cannon, a fellow Sharpe fan. YAY!!!! I'm only on the second one. With the remaining twelve still in my netflix queue. But I'm hooked already!!

I'm through the first four and I also have watched Sharpe's Company which is somewhere down the line. I have watched the history channel and PBS airings of the show and really got into it.

My husband says FORD stands for "Fix Or Repair Daily"! I had an 86 ford Mustang...my first car and I bought it myself. Boy they certainly don't make steel frame cars like her any more! I loved her and liked Fords then......then I owned a Focus.....UGH!!!! It was new and spent more time in the shop than I spent driving it!
Scarlett you are doing incredible! Gotta love when you house starts to feel put togther. Hope you enjoy your alone time! Oh and umm.. I have no idea who Sharpe is:p !

I think there's a whole mess of FORD slogans - Found On Road Dead was one I heard when my '85 mustang convertible hit the skids ;)

I have a chevy pick up now, and I love it! Only time she's in the shop is for regularly scheduled maintenance!

Boy I wish I could join in on all of your car-talk, but I can't even drive :( Though, my MIL-to-be has been driving the same Nissan for like ten years and only recently has it been giving her trouble, though really the trouble didn't start until after it had been through three accidents in one year (none of which were her fault, just really bad luck).

First On Race Day !!

Nice Yukon Scarlett, really sweet ride. My youngest bro just had his demolished sitting at a construction zone dead-stopped and a guy was a cellphone not payin' attention and tried to turn it into a 2-door for him. Everyone was ok.

That was our 'going to the races' vehicle and we will sorely miss that machine on our trips.

Looks good on you. Enjoy !!

You might have to make GWTW Part 2 to pay for all this stuff !! ;)

Hello, My Friend.

Just checking in. I hope you are getting caught up on all your work etc... and things are going well. Have a Saucy Saturday!

Hi everyone!!! And sorry I've been neglecting my own diary!! Things are going well. Although I'm not really seeing alot of weight loss this month. I'm trying not to be discouraged by the numbers because I see all kinds of improvements in my body. And I finally have admitted to myself that I am in much better shape at this weight than I was the last time I weighed this...which was over six years ago. I definitely have built some muscle and although I'm not completely toned it's getting there.

Another blessing is that I have a lot more confidence in myself. I don't ever stand in front of my closet and get panicked or teary eyed because I look like crap in everything. My husband says I even carry myself differently now.

So I'm trying to stay positive and not get discouraged. This has not been a quick journey, I've been working on this for almost two years. I know it takes time and patience. And lots more treadmilling!!! LOL!!! Which I will be doing here shortly. Thank goodness for netflix, I would be lost without my exercise entertainment.

Thank you all for dropping by with your kind supportive words as well as your humour. I really appreciate it.

And the Yukon is doing great. I really love her. And I'm getting much more exercise because anywhere I go I park in the back 40 and walk so no one will park next to me! LOL!!!

Y'all have a great rest of the weekend!!!!!
