Scarlett's Diary - Tomorrow is another day

Oh God I've been having to go to the toilet about twice and hour recently with all the water I've been drinking. I want to get as much water in as possible at work so I told me boss I had a UTI and drinking loads of water would help me.:D I'm sure you'll get your phantom 1.4lbs off in no time at all! ;)

see you in the group challenge! Good luck with it!:D

Ding dong the water weight is dead!!!!!!

The 1.4 is gone plus another .4 pounds.

I am so relieved!! I would like to thank each and every one of you for your help in getting me through what was a really downer kind of day for me yesterday. You're reassurances were so supportive and I can't thank you enough!!!!

Drank a ton of water...I stopped counting after a while but I've peed at least 48 times. But I was a little high on my calories too...I felt very hungry and I'm pretty sure it was just emotional crap.

OMG- I have been drinking tons of water the past 2 days to make up for the weekend and I swear the people I work with must think I'm crazy. I have been practically living in the bathroom so far this week. lol :) Oh well!

Scarlett,

first just thank you for posting in my diary and giving me helpful hints.

I just wanted to say that you are doing great and good luck on the challange (i'll post more once I've finished reading your entire journal :) )

:) Ah see didn't er tell you it'd come off soon! Well done for the extra 0.4lb too, I'm still looking forward to this group challenge we're both in and at that rate you'll do excellent!

Hey scarlett- congrats on getting rid of that1.4... that can be such a pain in the bootay when ya just want to see a smaller number! Sounds like you pretty much got things in check tho, so way to go :D

my gosh, I've had so many visits today....thank you all!!!! I have made so many new friends on here and I just love you all!!!!!

No treadmill today as it was my day in the office. Ate 1419 calories and drank MORE WATER!!!!! I'm so scared I'm going poof up again that I practically ran a hose from the water cooler to my desk today!!

Wishing everyone in the challenge on all the teams much success!!!! Hope you all have a great evening.

"Ding dong, the water weight is dead!" Lol! Hehehehehe! And didn't you put "the sodium has left the building" in the saucy sisterhood thread? You are just too funny! Great job on getting rid of that water weight! (Did you see my comment about closing the door in our sisterhood world? ;) )

It's a visious cycle, it is! The more water you drink, the more you get thirsty, and eventually after drinking almost no water, you don't feel thirsty anymore!

Scarlett, you're doing great! Glad to see that total lost of 1.8lbs - its almost 2!

thanks everyone, good to see you all.

Just found a little interesting tidbit from an e-diets newsletter I get. I'm not on e-diets but I signed up for newsletter just for good info.

Although the other three items are things we all already know but I found the item about cycling calories very interesting. What do you guys think?

1) Eat breakfast. If you skip breakfast, your body holds on to stored body fat. Breakfast will heat up your metabolism.

2) Cycle calories. Every fourth day, add 400 nutritious calories to your meal plan. This will get your metabolism racing.

3) Drink green tea. Green tea appears to naturally increase the amount of calories the body burns.

4) Control blood sugar levels. Eat nutritious foods throughout the day and your energy levels will increase.

Hey there girl,

So far everything sounds good in the letter, especially the Green Tea part. I adore green tea it's also has allot of natural antioxidants in it too!
