AThanks Cate, Maryann and Brawny!
Cate, I do have a busy life right now and a lot of demands on my time...my husband is retired (he is 13 years my elder) and sometimes, I wish I could just stay home and play ! I guess that day will come, and I will look back on these super busy times with fond memories...losing the weight really has made it easier to cope!
Maryann, you are right...4x 20 pound bags of flour..I can't imagine lugging that around...I don't even think I could lift it...but that's what I was forcing my feet and legs to do all the time...and my heart...my poor heart! My resting heart rate now is I. The low 60's the la time I checked...I 'm pretty happy about that. I did enjoy the salmon by the way...I could buy a whole fish of some sort here...just not sure what's I would be eating, or where it had been!
Brawny, not sure I would classify myself as skinny yet...the clothese hide a lot of flab...about 29 pounds worth to be exact! Yes, Omar the tent maker had some business from me...now, I'm dealing with his younger, more attractive brother! You always make me smile
Today, I got back on the scale, and I've lost 2 of the 3 pounds that snick up on me over the past 2 weeks. I think it was mostly water weight, so I' almost back on track. I did 45 min on the elliptical and 15 min yoga stretches and back on the stair steps from the 3rd to 12th floor. Of all of that, I'm really enjoying the yoga the most...feels so good to be getting some flexibility back...gotta go back a long way to even talk about flexibility...before I couldn't touch my toes because my gut got in the way...now I can touch toes and slowly starting to touch other parts that have been out of reach for quite some time!
Prayers going out to anyone on the east coast of the US and Canada tonight,
Sarah

Goodness me! On that note, I had better skedaddle. Bike to ride, shower & then visit both mothers! Cheers, xoxo Cate
