I made my arms really sore after working out on the machines yesterday so I may not do them today...just the cardio. I felt really energized after exercising last night...not the best thing when you have to go to bed early to wake up for 4 am, but then again I don't have to work until 9 am tommorow morning and I'll probably be going out! I've been really cutting down on my drinking since I started this whole thing. I am lucky if I have one drink when I go out now. I used to go for 4 or 5 and get a little plastered...not so much anymore....its nice. I don't wake up feeling like crap.

I'm going to make sure I work out right after work because if I don't do it then I wont do it at all. I'm then meeting up with a friend of mine. She's upset because we both like the same guy and she doesn't want to hurt me and I don't want to hurt her and its this whole big thing now. It's in these situations that I would normally eat. I've had it happen before where someone I like ends up dating my female best friend and she knows about it and that's why she feels guilty but I don't want her too because he is an old childhood friend. I can't help the way she feels, but I hope I can calm her nerves a bit. Sorry...needed to vent.

Looking through the last page of your diary, it sounds like you are doing GREAT!!! Don't worry bout the odd bingey day, I had one this week but trying not to beat myself up about it!!!

Don't worry too much bout this situation with your mate. I know thats easy to say, but if your friendship is strong enough you will come out the other side what ever happens!!!

Thank you for the kind words everyone. Kezzy..my parents have the actual painting of your avatar on their wall in Australia! It's kind of neat how you have it.

It's Saturday and I have done well so far today. I'm stealing the work computer from the usual receptionist for a few minutes. This morning I had a slice of flax bread with light spread and I brought some fresh strawberries and some blueberry yoghurt to work. I haven't eaten yet since then but I am going to go home and have something light until dinner time.

I think I gained about 5 lbs with Thanksgiving dinner...hahaha. I had one portion rather than my usual 2 and I had one desert instead of all 3 like I did last year. I had quite a few people tell me how amazing I looked and how much they noticed it.

Tommorow I dont' have to wake up for 4 am so I can actually plan on making an actual meal...like a fried egg sandwich on wholewheat bread, nutrigrain bar for snack, 1/2 an avocado with low fat zesty italian dressing and half a tuna sandwich for lunch, grapes for a snack and a low fat risotto recipe I found.

The plan for working out is to work out for an hour and a half after I finish work at 12 pm. I worked out from Thursday-Saturday for an hour and a half each time. I feel great getting myself back into the routine.

Didn't eat what I had planned to this morning....the nutrigrain bar and a banana...now I'm feeling VERY hungry. I plan to stick with my original plan for lunch. I have quite a bit to do today, but I plan on relaxing for at least some of it. I did a light cardio work out after I finished work at 11:30. While I was doing my work out I was reading Canadian Living Magazine and got two really good recipes that I want to try out of it. One a lemon parsley fish fillet and squash, lentil and chickpea soup. They both seem like they're reasonable calorie wise, so I'll give them a try.

Tired now...did 35 minutes of cardio at the gym....not as intense as I usually do it. Today instead of jogging I raised the incline up to 4.0 and increased the speed gradually. I didn't want to do weights as well so that I wouldn't be sore. I'm going to be going to bed early tonight as I have a 4 am wake up call tommorow morning. I'm so glad I have the net now so that I can post more often.
 
I'm glad you didn't have to get up at 4am...finally, a break! haha And good job on the Thanksgiving Dinner and exercising! You go girl!!!

My co-worker in the daycare invited me over for her familys thanksgiving tonight. She says she's trying to cook healthy stuff instead of fattening so hopefully I should be fine. I wont have the chance to work out tommorow because its going to be another long day...5-8 in the morning on reception, 9-12 at daycare, 1-4 at addition-elle and then back to the gym at 5 until probably 7:30 and then home. Yikes.

My uncle sent me the pictures he took but they're not as flattering as I thought they were. The only one that is flattering of my body is not flattering to my face...haha. I'm considering posting it in my before and during thread but the look on my face is making me reconsider..hahah.
