Wow, you made impressive progress! Great to see someone else kicking ass!

Also awesome to see that you are doing this by making some lifestyle changes. The more you build that lifestyle (and the more you learn to appreciate it), the more sustainable your weight loss will be.

You seem to be doing magnificent! ;)

Calorie Burn - DID IT today!

Eat after 7 - didn't eat :D - I was seriously hungry so I had a warm Click @30 calories (Best protein powder ever - you can drink it warm like a latte or cold)

Oz of Water - 96 oz drank!

Comments: Loving that I got down to 216.4lbs. These DietBets are seriously keeping me on track with the food and recognizing how many 'cheat' meals or 'cheat' days I've actually had. I barely made it on the last two (first was 220.6 and I made it at 220.4) so I'm trying to lose a couple extra pounds to account for PMS. I would love to get to as close to 200 by April 8th as possible. I picked ANOTHER kickstarted (another 4% bet) for Feb 22-March 21st to keep me accountable right until the very end lol. It's intense but it's 30 days - you can do anything for 30 days, right? This also puts me down 35lbs!!! I carried around 30lbs yesterday and FRIG, that's heavy!
 
Thanks Tri and Sunflower! I am trying. The energy honestly comes from the diet bet challenge (I love competition), the wedding I'm going to in April, and going to the gym. The more I work out, the more energy I have to work out more. It's a viciously wonderful cycle.

Right now, we're dealing with a massive blizzard - it's BAD. Like I can barely see the neighbour's house and can't see the house down the hill bad. Hubby is at work and I think I need to go pray for a bit - just feeling very anxious and worried about him getting home today.

URGH!
 
I decided to measure myself today as it's been awhile - since January 3rd (and before that, Nov 25th). I try for monthly so it was time.

January 3 Today

Waist - 39 -39 no change
BB - 48 -46 - 2 inches
Hips- 48 -47 -1 inch
Thigh- 28 -26.5 -1.5inches

Total inches gone since Jan3rd 6 Inches

If you can replace rubbish food with real food when you are feeling really stressed then you have well & truly changed your mindset. Well done Sam!
 
Guys!!!!! I'm 215.2lbs! All the baby weight from both babies is GONE!! I did a triple-workout yesterday - Fitness Blender x2 (had missed the day before so finished up that) and then did a stretching video and keeping my calories below 1400. WOOT! Who knew diet and exercise actually worked lol!

Eat after 7 - I didn't! Once 7pm came, I stayed out of the kitchen!

Comments: Yesterday was a blizzard so I wasn't thrilled about not going to the gym (today isn't looking very possible either tbh) but I'm keeping up with my at home workouts and adding more onto there so I don't get slack. I don't feel like I'm in pain (achy sure but not hurting) and don't WANT to rest just yet. Hopefully, Sunday can be rest days because it is such a family day for us.

**The reason why I want to lose extra is because this week is PMS week and I tend to fluctuate by a few pounds. If I can get down a few extra lbs, I've avoided the sheer panic I had in the last week of the last 2 Diet Bets.

Fatgirlfedup's Spring Startup Dietbet (Feb 22-March 21st)

This one's weigh-in starts in 5 days. Basically, I decided to take this challenge on because I've got this wedding to go to in the beginning of April so I want to be down a few more lbs (I'd love to be down to 200 by then which is going to be intense but doable - especially with the lean muscle I'm building). It's 7 weeks away. This diet bet would put me down to about 205lbs which means I'd have another 2 weeks to get the last 5lbs off. Again, it's intense and if I don't get there, that's okay. The point isn't to lose the weight if I'm miserable - it's to lose the weight and never ever again have to lose it because it's not coming back (and thankfully, I'm never getting pregnant again WOOT!)
 
Week 1 / Day - 5 Monday

Weight - 214.6lbs

Fitness Blender - Did about 20 minutes of a 50 minute video before I just said 'screw it' - the kids were up and it wasn't working out. I got day 2 of the 3-day stretch done and day 1 of the 5 day workout for busy people which I'm going to stick with this month.

Taking calisthenics out as Fitness Blender includes them :)

Calorie Burn - Done this week

Eat after 7 - I didn't! It's currently 9:50pm here and I stopped eating at 6:30, went to the gym after kiddos went to bed, did my fitness blender and am now jumping in the shower and going to bed.

Oz of Water - meh? It's been a bad day for water - drank 32oz of water + 16 oz of almond milk so 48oz ish? Not good and I WILL do better tomorrow.

Comments: Tomorrow is going to be busy - there's bible study in the a.m and then a business meeting in the evening so I'll have to do my workout after that. I need to get to the gym 2x more times this week which means both days and there's a snowstorm headed this way so I may not make that goal...but I can't really fix a blizzard lol. I can, however, say I'll do an extra 30 minute workout if I can't get to the gym to make up for it.


Feeling good - feeling like my body is changing in a good way.
 
We don't get real blizzards very often but snowfall between Nov-March is common. There's usually 3-4 bad snowfalls/year. This was the worst one in about 10 years though. Generally, power lines go down in rural places so people go without electric for awhile (if the power goes out in those areas, water can also be an issue), white out conditions where you can't see 3 ft in front of your face is common because of the high wind speed and if you're close to the water, it can bring the ocean to your doorstep (literally). It gets scary so people check on elders or shut-ins often around here and make sure homeless shelters stay open during the bitter cold/storm days.

We stayed nice and toasty indoors, have some extra food and water stashed away and candles. I also have a 'stay warm' plan in case the electric does go down but it shouldn't (our cables around here are mostly underground).
 
Glad to hear you´re equipped to deal with this kind of weather but I still hope it blows over soon!
 
I'm going crazy. That's it, it's official. I've gone cabin crazy.

The snow hit again - it's half-way up my window. Hubby and I were supposed to have a date night and see a comedian...and Isaac (my oldest who is 2) started puking this morning. FRIGGIN' EH!? Poor buddy is laying on the couch and hasn't moved so we're watching Daniel Tiger's neighbourhood and he's got towels under him and his blanket to make him feel better.

Yep.

So instead of a romantic night out - I'm staying home. Hubby is bringing beer which I haven't decided if I'm drinking any yet - I haven't drank since November and I had planned for a dinner out so one beer isn't going to derail my calories. At least this date night can be pants-optional!

I hit 214.0 which is amazing! I feel really, really (really, really really) good about that. I've been doing 2 shakes for breakfast/supper (it's 1 scoop nutritional shake with one scoop protein shake + almond milk bc I can't drink regular milk). It's about 230 calories per shake. I usually have 3-4 snacks (generally fruit, veg or lean protein) then one meal that's about 300-350 calories. It's still low but it's consistent and generally there's an extra snack or two with kiddos or taste-testing foods that I'm cooking.

I'd like to be 199 by April 9th so 15lbs to go. It's definitely possible with a 2lb weight loss/week so I'm going for it (yes, I just hauled out the calendar and checked lol).

If I don't entirely get there, I've still lost weight :D Diet bets are going swimmingly though - it really looks like I'm going to be ahead of the game which means less worry about PMS weight gain (always a nerve-wracking moment).
