You guys are too funny :) Thanks for the invite to Vegas. I'll have to think about it. I don't have any idea what my schedule between work and the Nursing Program will be by November and how my funds are going to look, so I'm not too sure. It sounds like an awesome time though and I love to go to Vegas. I haven't been there in awhile :)

Didn't get to the gym this morning, so it looks like I'm going to have to make it after work and after my haircut this evening... I gotta go get the gym in, that is my goal this month. Tomorrow I have last session with PT, so I know I will be there for sure.

Food has been so-so. Been within the caloric limits that i set for myself (under 2K or so) but hasn't been the "best" choice in foods... Tomorrow I will have money to go grocery shopping, so I will stock up on some healthier options.

Try to squeeze it, it will be so fun with you there too. You can't miss the Chippendales!! haha JK. We'll try to share rooms to cut costs, so that might help. I know it's far out timewise to decide now, but keep it in mind.

Hey everybody :)

I'm actually probably about 210ish in my avatar pic. My hair is different now. With all my hairstylist friends, they like to try different things with my hair, and I'm nice and I let them. Right now it's darkish brown with blonde and copper streaks going thru it... Fun for summer, right? hehe

Park City is tomorrow night. Hope it's fun. Don't know for sure if the other gay guy is for sure coming or not... Hopefully he is but if not my friend says she is giving up on him. She has given him quite a few oppurtunities for us to meet, so if he flakes out on this one, she says she isn't going to try anymore. I kind of agree. Hopefully he shows and I can see if he is my type or not, and if I'm his, and then go from there. My friend works for Marriott so she booked us a room at her rate to spend the night up there, so we don't have to worry about driving anywhere or anything and we can drink some. Exciting. Hopefully the group that is performing is halfway decent, if not the alcohol should make them sound better, right? lol

Got to the gym last night and did 60 minutes of cardio. I hate my gym at the evening rush hours. So many douchebag people there that looked like they primped for an hour before they made it to the gym. I'm sorry, when I leave the gym I look like shit. I go there to get my sweat on and do work, not to participate in the meatmarket they got going... I also got there this morning for my last appointment with my PT :(... We did plyometrics and it kicked my ass... Going to sleep well tonite.

Food has been okay. Still within my caloric ranges and all that fun stuff. Hitting up the grocery store either tonite or tomorrow and will stock up on the good stuff.

Sorry your gym's such a meat market. Mine's women only, so unless it was full of dykes, it would be kinda hard to be a MM. :rofl: At least you got in a good workout--and that's the important thing.

I think I need your hair stylist friends to come work on mine. :D I'm hopeless at that sort of thing.
 
I don't know how you do it, Sam. I could never go on a set up when I was single. Too much expectation. I always had better luck when it was just people going out to have fun. If friendships were made along the way, all the better. Good luck.
 
That's kind of what this is, there has just been a lot built up to it, so now i guess it's bordering on a "set-up"... I'm just out to have a good time, that is how I always am. If it isn't meant to be, then it isn't meant to be. There is going to be a group of people, so it's not really like a blind date exactly... Still kind of interesting... What will be most interesting is to see what my friends think my "type" is... LOL

I used to live in SLC and had a couple of karaoke shows at "gay bars". I don't think the bars exist anymore as there was a massive 'clean up the downtown effort' prior to the Olympic games coming to SLC in 2002. I'm sure other clubs have sprung up to take their places...

SLC is surprisingly diverse for a Mormon community.

I love Park City...it's a great town. I hope you have fun at your concert Sam. (my brother and his family live in Park City...if you're interested in that bit of trivia)
 
So...

Park City was fun. I love the town, the room was great and hanging with my BFF (that I went up there with) was terrific :)

The Bad... The concert sucked, I drank way too much, and the gay guy flaked out... Also I ran into one of my other friends up at the show, she was there with her gay... Well, this friend I ran into was a super bitch and so was her gay. I really question why I'm friends with her in the first place, and I kind of think I'm kind of over her and the bs.

Other than that it was a good night. I really want to go back up to Park City and just bum around and go shopping or something.

Diet needs some work, and need to get my ass to the gym too... Still haven't made it to the grocery store, I have been so bad this week...

that's too bad he didn't come. Sorry about your friend, but at least it sounds like you had a decent time. Good luck getting over to the gym and grocery store.
 
I love Park City (except for the parking situation downtown). Wasatch brewery has a fabulous raspberry ale. Ciseros (is it still there?) has a fabulous menu. There used to be a Vietnamese restaurant in a little strip mall on the east side of the street (the main drag) that had a salad that beats the heck out of anything I've ever tasted. Ichabod's (sushi bar) was my introduction to sushi and saki. I loved them both but saki made my head hurt.

I miss that town...I used to be there a lot!
 
Glad you had a good time in Park City despite that guy wussing out and the concert sucking..lol.

Now, get thee to the gym and the grocery store!! :D I have to do the same. :blush5:
