Rosa, Hot By Summer '09

So as late lunch I had half a sweet potato...and then we had a HUGE dinner. Yikes!
I had pork and veggies and mushrooms...and some chicken later! Horrible, horrible.

Date: 1/5/09
Workout: Gumdo warm ups and basic forms, Treadmill 20 min
Treadmill: 1.64 in 20 minutes. I couldn't do a lot because people were sleeping and the treadmill makes horrendous noise.
Weight: 186.4 lb
Gain/Loss: 0...:(
Comments: I was doing well until dinner time. :( Only had a banana and half a sweet potato until dinner. And at dinner I ate too much because the food was so good! D: I think if I ate in moderation I could have lost at least half a pound. Not that that's a lot, but still..
 
Yikes, I've been so bad this week...with someone coming to live in my house, the food has been exceptionally good, and I couldn't exercise much because I started college again with really hardcore courses. T_T

My weight hasn't changed much, it's still 186.4. My mom says I shouldn't run 30 minutes, just walk 1 hour. I'm not too sure yet. I'm just going to have to control what I eat more and try to be as active as possible. So stressful!
 
I think I regained two pounds by what I saw last night. I did extra gumdo today and am going to run on the treadmill in a bit. I've been lazy with the water, too.

Healthy Eating Pts: Ate dinner early...that's it. :(
Unhealthy Eating Pts: Didn't drink a whole lot of water, had unhealthy meals and snacks. :(
 
I know it's a little discouraging to see the weight go up a little but that's OK! We're human and sometmies we slip up a little. Just get right back on the treadmill today and work that food off! :) WOOO

This morning I woke up late and had a pretty big brunch- but it was a healthy brunch, so don't worry. :) I think I'm good till dinner time.

And I'm running again, no matter what my mom says!
 
Weight: 187.6 lb[I gained 0.6 since yesterday...:(]
Exercises: Wii (Tennis and boxing), 20 min on treadmill (1.35 miles, I was really tired...but I also did most of it on incline :D)
Healthy Eating Pts: Oh my gosh, none today!
Unhealthy Eating Pts: I wouldn't say I went big on portions, but we had so many unhealthy snacks today, like ice-cream. :( Maybe tomorrow will be better...I have got to start the water thing back up again!!

hey i started out as 188 too. You can totally do this. Instead of fatty ice cream, chow down on some yogurt instead. You can still eat what you want, but you just have to make better choices. Ps I love the wii, thats how i work out. I have the wii fit and its great!
 
And you're 151!!!! I'm so jealous. :)
Maybe I should get a Wii Fit...hehe.

It's morning. I don't have class until 10:30 today, so I got to have some breakfast:

1. Tuna sandwiches [cut into quarters, and I had 5 pieces...so basically one sandwich and a bit more].
2. Half glass of mango juice.
3. Fried eggs with ketchup.

I know it's a lot, but if I don't eat right now I'm going to be really hungry later on. =/
 
Yea i go to school too. i get starving later on in the day. So i always bring snacks with me on the go. Hummus and pretzel chips, fruit etc..etc. Where do you go to school?
 
I'd rather not get too specific, but in Southern California. :)
I try to pack snacks, but it's hard to pack healthy ones...my class for winter intersession starts at 7:30 in the morning, and, well, I have trouble GETTING UP at 7:30 in the morning. =P

Exercises: Gumdo, minimal indoor exercises (like 30 full sit-ups and 60 lay-down bicycle thing). It got too late to turn on the treadmill and everyone was already asleep.
Healthy Eating Pts: I think I drank at least one big bottle of water today.
Unhealthy Eating Pts: I ate big breakfast, moderate lunch (BUT it was rice and chicken! Bad, bad, bad!), and had 2 and a half small tamales. I think I also had two Healthy Choice fudge bars all day today...ugh, I don't know why I'm being so irresponsible! :(

Tomorrow I'm drinking 2 whole bottles AND running 30 minutes on the treadmill! :)
 
My weight is creeping up. This winter intersession is taking up so much time and energy, it's horrible!

I think my goal for the next six weeks is not to lose twelve pounds but to make sure that I don't gain. :(
 
Hey Rosa, you can do this! Stock up on fruit, it fills you up and is good for you! You have made it this far, you will be gorgeous by June!
 
Don't get yourself too down about it... it will come back round if you persevere. :)
