WOW CONGRATS!!!! the 100s!!!!!!!!!! what is your goal weight?? ohh what can i do to get back to lossing? i have been maintaining for 2 weeks:(

maintaining is a good thing :) GAINING is the problem :) im going to access my body composition when i get to 185... from there if my body fat is low enough i'll start training for muscle gain... if not then i'll keep going :)

I LOST 2 lbs last week and not a maintain..was so happy..lol...have a great week!!
 
woo! thanks everyone! I think im safely out of the 200's now :) I let loose on some pizza on Saturday I think i ate a WHOLE medium in a matter of a coupla hours watching basketball. it shot up to only 197. so i am definitely out of the woods :)

I'm pretty much in to the spot reduction phase of the loss. My arms and legs are pretty lean as are face and shoulders, and back. the only place left to lose is the trouble areas! YES!!!
 
Ahhh REST DAY :) need it today... yesterdays leg work out was taxing. its so awesome being under 200.... i honestly dont remember the last time i was. i think maybe my freshman year.

Here comes the weekend... lets see if i can prevent myself from taking a step back.
 
WOW..i know you feel so good!! (and look good)..you will do great over the weekend:) what do your friends and family say about all the hard work you have done?
 
thanks :) 180 is still technically overweight for me too :) im supposed to weight like 160 or something for my height. im going to access my situation at 180 and go from there tho :)
 
im getting restless... i been on weight loss regiment for over a year now... ive made excellent progress.. I want to start adding mass!! heh... i should be able to switch gears hopefully by fall. Ohhh... i can't wait :)
 
rough weekend... lot of drinking.. the eating wasnt so bad... not too much of a step backward... i should be back on the road to progess in a couple of days.

180.8... took a week off from lifting... took a few meals here and there that maybe put me over in calories. but nothing like i used to do. all in all im pretty proud of myself. and not gaining weight as a great thing!
 
I scored a 60 on my polar fitness test today!!!!

I started at 28 in march of 07.

I feel so much better than when i started this journey.

anything greater than a 58 at my age is "elite"

I know theres still room for improvement though...

as far as im concerned this is just elite among normal people.

I can do much better

I will do much better.

been having some ugly weekends for eating for past two weeks. but i have managed to keep a small but steady rate of loss over the long run. Works for me.

slow motion is better than no motion

I'm officially past my goal. in a carb depleted overnight dehydrated state.

Re-accessment:
I've still got quite a bit of fat on my stomach, and i still have a little bit on my chest as well, i thought those areas would have been further along by now.

I want to start to add muscle. But realisticly it will only push my goals back further. since im likely to add fat as well.

I need to push further, harder. I'm roughly 17-18% bodyfat at this point. I thought i would be better at this stage in the game.

I'm going to continue with fat loss. I will reaccess at 170.

being under 180 was short lived. But not an issue. The number really isn't that big for me. I'm actually closer to 185 fully carbed up, which is WAY better than 304 :) My progress is taking baby steps, but its still progress.

Current Rate of loss
Month - .28 lbs per week
Two Months - .44 lbs lost per week
Past two days registered as 18.3% bodyfat

The weekends are hampering my progress. But I think I've earned some weekends. As long as I stay on track during the week. And make some reasonable substitutions to lessen the damage on the weekends
