Thanks everyone! I'm glad so many people understand the whole clothes issue. I think the worst thing is my exercise clothes. I need that the most right now and I took a look on my lunch break today and I couldn't see anything I liked. I don't nearly have enough time to do a proper search though, so I need to make a day of it... or at least half a day!

So today I was supposed to get measured and not do my lower body class. With my exercise pants being so big and baggy I wore an old pair that had holes on the inner thighs (worn out from the whole ..being overweight and thigh rubbing syndrome!) I chose to wear those because they fit tight compared to my other ones. Anyways, my bf offered to sew it up for me, which is all I needed. So I get there, and the lady that's supposed to measure me wasn't there, so the guy was like well you better get to class! I was like, what? I'm not prepared to go to class (meaning mentally prepared, and clothes prepared) so I told him about my pants and how I didn't think they'd hold up in class, lol.. he was just like they'll be fine, get going! So here I am in my patched up pants, worst bra ever for support, with a kinda low cut tank top, OY! I must say though my bf did a good job cause my pants held up and didn't rip open, lol.

So I'm now supposed to get measured on thurs. I hope it gets done soon before I got too fit and don't see a difference between now and the 5 week mark.. JK! lol... but the sooner the better.

Oh and Drywit, Metrotown I believe is in Vancouver, I live in Kelowna which is about 5 hours from Vancouver.

Lukewarm I swear, you always make me smile, laugh or all of the above!

The old thigh rubbing syndrome - brings back horrible memories of beautiful trousers being ruined. I'll bet you'll really enjoy summer - you won't get thigh rash thanks to sweat and rubbing together in the heat - yeuch! I can't wait..

Measuring I heard really shows your best results
when the scale doesn't budge you are still losing inches!
I shop at the 2nd hand stores for now and find really cuite name brand
clothes very cheap so I am not out a whole alot of money. LOL once in
a while I get to splurge and shop at WALMART when you have 4 little one
there is no more Macy's JC Pennies ect lol.

Yeah, I'm excited to get measured! Not so excited for the fitness test. I know it's good to know what you can do and then see your improvments but they also test your flexibility, and some of me is very flexible, but some of me isn't, lol.

HA, talk about flexibility, we had to do partner stretches on Sat and one you had your arms bent behind your back and your partner would bend your arms towards each other. Well, the girl bending my arms was like OMG, you're so flexible! When guys ask you if can you touch your elbows together you can tell them yes! lol.

Well, my CK class went well today. Unfortunately with my skinned knuckles I couldn't actually punch the bags, so I had to just punch the air. It's a good thing we did a lot of elbow things instead! Other than that it went awesome.

Oh and Cerella if I do go down that way I will let you know, would be great to meet :)

Hi Risty

I hope your measurements go well today, I'm positive you'll see results. Your boyfriend is sweet for sewing your clothes for you. Today is the fitness test right? I remember feeling anxiety about those too. You'll do well, and the best part is, you're only going to get better. Also you're right, it's great to record your progress along the way and there is no better way to do it, you're being really thorough. I'm really excited to see all the changes!
 
Well, I didn't get measured today :( The owner's wife usually does it and she's away all week and there's only 2 other girls that do it and one was working, the other couldn't come today. So it'll for sure be done on Sat. On Sat I'll get measured before the lower body UBC and then I'll have my fitness test. It's good it's lower body because your arms are just dead after on the upper body and there's no way I'd be able to do my push ups for my fitness test! However, on the lower body day you work your abs and part of the fitness test is crunches. Fortunately I'm good at those, I just may not be able to do as many as usual.

Once I finally get my measurements, I'll post those along with the my measurements from my biggest point. I don't know if that's at my heaviest, I don't think so, I think I measured after I lost weight first.

Although I didn't get measured and do my test thingy, I did have an awesome upper body workout! I just can't believe how weak my shoulders are. For the exercises I usually use a green or red band (red is harder) but for this one shoulder exercise I have to use yellow, and yellow is the lightest, and even that's hard!! I was like what the hell, how can that muscle be so damn week compared to everything else! Ah well, it shall improve!

I would love resistance bands, my dad is a rehab therapist and I always ask him to bring some for me when he visits but he always forgets. They're really the best aren't they? But you're right, you're only going to improve, and summer is nearly here and you're going to have nice shoulders, back and arms! I feel so confident when my shoulders and my arms look good. I could look complete shit but it's ok if I have nice arms.

Ugh I tried doing a pushup the other day and it was laughable. Well it's good that you have tomorrow as your measurement day, and you'll have had today to rest up a bit. I can't wait to see how it goes! Oh I forget, how many days a week do you attend this program? I'm just curious, thinking about maybe scrounging together some cash to try something similar. Hope you had a good day!

Hey Lukewarm :D The resistance bands don't actually cost too much and you only need a couple. The long tube and the short tube, maybe a couple of each (for the difference resistances).

So my measurementes and fitness and all that is for sure tom morning before class. My classes go as followed: Mon, Weds and Fri I have cardio kickboxing and Tues, Thurs and Sat I have my resistance training (alternating between upper body and lower body). Sunday is our day of rest plus eating what we want if we did good all week with our eating. I'm loving it all so far, the only thing I'm upset about is my skinned knuckles. I can't punch the bag in CK because of it otherwise it just makes it worse. So I'm not getting a complete workout, punching in the air isn't the same as actually hitting the back. I love when we use our elbows tho, I'm like BAM! I can hit this one! WOO! And if course I can do all the kicks. It just really sucks not being able to punch. So hopefully my knuckles heal soon!

Aww Tammy, it's nothing! I think this site is awesome. I love giving and receiving support, I find it really really helps. My bf says I'm addicted to this site, I just tell him he's addicted to his games so we're even, lol.

Ok, so I got my measurements done today and for the most part I'm happy. Unfortunately my stupid upper thighs haven't changed and that kinda angers me cause I hate my thighs so much. So hopefully I'll see some improvement after my 10 week program. So I'll post my measurements from my heaviest, to kinda the middle, to now.

Holy crap, I had no idea I lost 33.5 inches, that's nuts! WOO! Now that really does feel good. Seeing the baggy pants and seeing the before and now pics really hits ya in one way, but seeing the numbers hits you in a completely different way. I'm still kinda mad that my thighs haven't gone down since last Aug, but they originally had went down a good chunk. I can't wait to post my results at the end of my 10 week program, I better work extra hard in it so I have some good results to show, heh.

Really great work though. ^___^ And I love the pic of ya wihen ya are wearing those way to big jeans and stuffed that candle in in there as well. XD It looked hillarious. :D
