Thanks for the recipe Tutti! I started at 171 and I've been losing for 8 weeks. Down 19lbs. At 152 for now. I've been exercising regularly for 7 weeks and eating healthier (or trying to) for the full 8 weeks. I find it exhilirating physically...but somewhat exhausting mentally. I worry alot if I can truly reach and maintain my goal, but overall I try to stay positive and this forum really helps!
Have you ever split a pair of pants? You sit down in those one size too small slacks because you're too stubborn to admit you gained THAT much weight, and you hear rrrrriiiiiiiiiiiip. I'm ready to change rip from a verb to an object. I want to BE ripped! I don't care if it's corny, I'm ready to get cut. Sting like a butterfly, eye of the tiger and who's the man?...I'm the man!
Whew! I have not been well. I can not get the bathroom to stop smelling like vomit. I went for my first trail run before my health took a temporary turn. It was slloooooow, more like a jog. But, I went 6 miles and I was very sore and very proud.
Anyway, I won't bother taking credit for any weight loss this week as illness isn't really part of my healthy weight loss plan.![]()
