Renewing my sense of worth. Again.

NO LIES, I was NOT feelin the gym tonight. I drug some serious ass, watched lots of tv- Tough Love2- hySTERical. I'm sad that next week is the last episode. :rolleyes: I wish I liked watching current events or something...

So anyway, finally got my butt up and ready for the gym, decided since I WASN'T feeling it, I would do 30 minutes. JUST to say I went and did it... So at about minute 28, I thought, damn. I wanna stop, but I may as well go to at least 45min. Sooo then I get to 45, and I think- PSH! Why stop now?! Its only another 20 minutes till I'm completely done! Sooo I did it. 65min, 4.63miles. Even with draggin ass, and moving slow, I managed to amp it up at the end and busted thru the damn 4.60. Here's hoping tomorrows the same way :rolleyes:
 
Well done! There's always going to be a "I can't be bothered" feeling to exercise but you showed determination enough to go through with it.

I always find the starting it part the hardest...Once i'm doing it, it takes awhile for me to stop.

Awesome work! Good for you pushing through it! Wish I could think that way more lately. I wasn't feeling working out last night either and did stop at 30 minutes - the thought about going to 45 min crossed my mind once but I wasn't determined like you and just gave up - keep it up!! I'm inspired and tonight I will think - if Jess kept going so can I!!
 
Congrats on the 2lb weight loss this week! Any loss is moving in the right direction. Beats gaining 2lbs/week....we've all been there. Keep pushing yourself on those workouts!
 
Ohhh jeez. My day started off kinda shitty- my thumb that I effed up yesterday hurt sooo bad, and I kept bumpingit into everything, which didn't make it better. Man, you don't realize how often you do that til its hurt! Crap. AND the customers were big ole crabasses. Eff. Always makes me angry. Grow up already people!
Came home, took a loonngggg nap, felt amazing :) I don't work til 330pm tomorrow, so it was okay for a big nap and not hafta worry bout not getting enuf sleep later on. When I woke up- I felt SOO revved to get to the gym and push harder than ever. Annnd I did. Cardio: crosstrainer, 65min: 4.75miles. WHAT! YEAAHHH! I've NEVER gotten that far before; not even CLOSE to it, so I'm pretty stoked. :D Then did tricep pulldowns- and went up a weight bar, even tho it KILLED my big old chunky arms- then did some back and shoulders, also another weight bar up. So happy. I don't know that I'll have that same oomph on Friday night; and I sure as hell didn't have it last night; but tonight was wonderful. As soon as I hit that 4.75mi, I wanted to burst out laughing, except there was a lady on the machine next to me, annnd I'm pretty sure she'd of thought I was a little loony. Yeah, not sure why I'd pick to laugh as the emotion of choice, but I did. lol.

Anyway, since I work till 1230am tomorrow night, and hafta be at work 10am the next day, I will not be going to the gym. But Friday night will hopefully be another awesome workout :) 4.75miles awesome?? UMMM, maybe not... It was incredibly hard for me to keep that level of stamina going the entire time, so to be able to do that again, well, I'm not saying it WON'T happen, I'm just saying it MIGHT not happen every day :rolleyes:

I miss you! I keep forgetting to get on this thing. I called you today. Have not heard back yet. But I put my -3 pounds up! YAY! I do another weight in on 2/15/10!

SO as I said; not working out tonight. I had actually decided I was gonna go and do like a quick 30min cardio sesh, but half way thru my shift at work my frickin NECK started killing me! Uhhgggh. Its giving me a headache its that bad.. Last time my neck felt this bad I had friggin meningitis... Lucky for me the chances of catching it once you've already had it are verrrry slim.

Anyway, I'm totally eating some cookies right now. Grr. Gonna check on a few diaries, then hit the hay yo!
 
Ooh Jess sounds bad. I was in the hospital last nite myself and then got a 24hr flu with fever chills etc. Take a break from working out snd from cookies too!

A loathe headaches. I used to get migraines all the time and they would just put me down for the count. So just relax your neck for a day or two then get back in gear.

Hope everything else is going well!
 
I loovvve vegetable sandwiches, so I think they are absolutely amazing! Pita Pit is another of my favorite places with a terrific veggie sandwich. Mmmm. I could eat em alllll day.

Salad sandwich. I usually pull off the produce and eat it first before I eat the turkey and cheese, lol!!

I'm going to try it next time I go, see what it's all about. What dressing do you put on it? I'm usually a honey mustarder.

Sorry I havent been on! Kind of slipped and been binging. But I figured out how to take care of it. Grapes, grapes and more grapes. Fruit is the thing to go with. I am going to eat. I know it. So I am starting to measure out four oz of grapes, one four ozs before bed, and one when I wake up in the middle of the night... and I usually lose weight with fruit at night ...

I dont know what its like, but Ive heard its awful...
