Hey Jess(393)
I read something about dvr-ing a show. What show? I'm not up to date with all of my acronyms.

Hey, did anyone catch Titanic last night? It was playing at 7pm on tbs! Awesome movie...
Anyways, about the cramps. I know i don't have much good advice to give, but for cramps I can give some advice. I used to play basketball in high school, And in college i used to suffer from cramps from smoking waay too much (I don't smoke anymore), but what I can say is this -- you can avoid getting ANY type of muscle cramps (I have no clue about your 'monthly' cramps, i have no idea about the anatomy of those types of cramps) but about regular muscle cramps, in the legs, and abs, and thighs, there is one solution that works -- and that is you have to Hydrate yourself! I know it seems self-evident, but the truth is that when we flood our muscles with fluids, we don't allow the chemicals to build up that give us cramps to begin with...
Also, a funny story. When I was flying from Boston to Atlanta, I was sitting in the front of the Economy class cabin. I was at a conference in Boston and I hadn't slept in the last two days (ALSO, SLEEP is great for getting the muscles back into good shape..) but the lack of sleep had kept the chemical build-up in my muscles. On top of that, I was smoking all day, and sitting on the flight, half way through I got a cramp on my upper-inner-thigh!
I panicked! And got up from my seat, and with your calf you can usually fix a cramp from standing up straight, but this had NO effect on the inner-thigh!!! So I grabbed my leg, and RAN through the business class cabin, and up to the stewardesses!!! (Imagine if this happened after this Christmas!) I tell the stewardess what happened, and she shoved me into the bathroom which was right up in the front of the plane. She told the other stewardess to get my a bag of ice and two cans of tonic-water (which containts Quinine). The stewardess proceeds to massage my upper-thigh in the bathroom, while the other brought me the tonic-water to drink... Anyways, I chugged the drinks and the cramp passed in a couple minutes.
It was funny because all the passengers were first startled at this big man running to the front of the plane, then seeing me go into the bathroom with the stewardess, only to come out with my pants went from the melting ice.
Moral of the story, Quinine actually is good to release cramps!! but also, remember to always Hydrate yourself! And... getting sleep (with hydration) will ensure you keep those cramps away... ..so long as you don't start running marathons without drinking water! =D
