Today started out on a bad note, so I was ABSOLUTELY positive that the whole day was gone to hell... It snowed here again, but not as deep as last time, so no biggie right? No. I start my car at 930am, go to leave at 945, and its a little tough on my poor baby to get moving. But I move. I get to the dreaded hill, and that.was.the.end. I had to back down the damn hill AGAIN(like the fourth time this year!) and go home to get my other car, or "the tank" as I like to think of it, lol. So of course, I haven't driven the Monte Carlo in a coupla weeks, no snow, haven't needed to... annnnnd theres like a foot of snow I've gotta clean off of it, and 3493438535 inches of ice to scrape off all the windows. And of course the defrost and rear defrost don't quite do the job the way they useta, sooo yeah. So I get that done, its still 955- I don't live far from work, so I think okkk, I can DO this. maybe a minute late, but it'll be done! Efffff no. Even the tank couldn't handle this shitty powdery crap. Redic. I didn't clock in till 1010. I HATE being late. Hate it. grrr. Luckily the day got better, which is surprising, lol, and that was that. Foodwise- not bad. DID eat just over half of a piece of carrot cake- tho I can't lie, the piece wasn't small to begin withGot off work at 715ish, didn't leave my house again till 3 am for the gym. Ahhhh. It was SOOO nice to sit there and watch tv in my cozy blanket and just chilllll yo.
Volunteered for a shift at the pool hall tomorrow- no biggie- its only 1pm to 6pm- so even tho its my only day off, the shift is so insignificant that it doesn't really even cut into it.
Gym tonight: no weights, just cardio. Crosstrainer: 100min, 7.17miles. So it equalled just over 13min per mile. Yeah, I was goin a little slow again tonight; but I'm still pretty happy with that number

VERY uneventful dayloved it. Worked for a few hours, came home, started to balance my check book, got super sleepy, fell asleep watching tv, lol. Crazy right? Anyway. Get ready to go to the gym, get to the gym(I'm still driving the monte carlo cuz of the snow) get to the DOOR of the gym, and looky there. Do NOT have my gym key becuz its on my OTHER car keys. Grr. Had to drive all the way home to get em. Redic. I wonder if there will ever be a day for me without drama of some sort?! lolllll...
Gym time: crosstrainer- 65 min, 4.59miles.
Work 10-6 tomorrow. Hoping for a slow day, cuz I'm not feelin the whole workin thing right now![]()

At least you have the perseverance to drive home, get the key, and go back to work out. I know I would have thought twice about it once I was home again.

Awe Jess, that's too funny you couldn't buy the fries! I take that as a sign too when similar stuff happens.
Like when I go through the drive thru and they forget my fries, I get mad but tell myself it must be the universe saying to skip them. It's happened so many times.

Damn I haven't had some good JoJos in a long time! Good thing no one does them well here in Georgia. It's probably best that you weren't able to go to the store and pick those things up, especially if you already felt crappy later in the evening. All that grease would have made it worse and your weigh in most likely would have reflected it. No worries on the missed workout as it happens to all of us, I only got 90 minutes in last night because I was so tired. Probably could have fallen asleep on the treadmill if that were possible.
