100 min on the cross trainer? I can barely do 5! Well done, Jess! You must be so motivated to go to the gym after such a shite day! Way to go!

Today started out on a bad note, so I was ABSOLUTELY positive that the whole day was gone to hell... It snowed here again, but not as deep as last time, so no biggie right? No. I start my car at 930am, go to leave at 945, and its a little tough on my poor baby to get moving. But I move. I get to the dreaded hill, and that.was.the.end. I had to back down the damn hill AGAIN(like the fourth time this year!) and go home to get my other car, or "the tank" as I like to think of it, lol. So of course, I haven't driven the Monte Carlo in a coupla weeks, no snow, haven't needed to... annnnnd theres like a foot of snow I've gotta clean off of it, and 3493438535 inches of ice to scrape off all the windows. And of course the defrost and rear defrost don't quite do the job the way they useta, sooo yeah. So I get that done, its still 955- I don't live far from work, so I think okkk, I can DO this. maybe a minute late, but it'll be done! Efffff no. Even the tank couldn't handle this shitty powdery crap. Redic. I didn't clock in till 1010. I HATE being late. Hate it. grrr. Luckily the day got better, which is surprising, lol, and that was that. Foodwise- not bad. DID eat just over half of a piece of carrot cake- tho I can't lie, the piece wasn't small to begin with :rolleyes: Got off work at 715ish, didn't leave my house again till 3 am for the gym. Ahhhh. It was SOOO nice to sit there and watch tv in my cozy blanket and just chilllll yo.

Volunteered for a shift at the pool hall tomorrow- no biggie- its only 1pm to 6pm- so even tho its my only day off, the shift is so insignificant that it doesn't really even cut into it.

Gym tonight: no weights, just cardio. Crosstrainer: 100min, 7.17miles. So it equalled just over 13min per mile. Yeah, I was goin a little slow again tonight; but I'm still pretty happy with that number :)

Off to bed! Catch up with everyone tomorrow :)

WOW, your car wasnt able to make it up the hill... that sucks, but at least that part of the day is over. I am sure they understood why you were late... Did they give you any crap over it?

It was snowing and early in the morning, cleaning off your car...etc...

The Carrot cake .. eh .. you do so much working out, its not going to kill you to splurge a little once in a while...

I myself had half an ice cream sandwhich, and will be having the other half after dinner. I have already put it into fitday.com. I havent had chocolate for a week, but its like I usually spend two weeks and than splurge on something small. Derek wanted to buy a pint of ice cream, because it was cheaper. I won lol less caloric intake ...

but the carrot cake is not going to kill you. It may have been a big piece, but you were strong enough to resist the whole thing, that means something ... keep up the good work Jess ..

and I have to give you kudos on going to the gym at three am in the morning. I would never walk at three am in the morning .. nore exercise than lol I cant sleep if I do something at the end of the night. Sounds like your night is just starting than lol

VERY uneventful day :) loved it. Worked for a few hours, came home, started to balance my check book, got super sleepy, fell asleep watching tv, lol. Crazy right? Anyway. Get ready to go to the gym, get to the gym(I'm still driving the monte carlo cuz of the snow) get to the DOOR of the gym, and looky there. Do NOT have my gym key becuz its on my OTHER car keys. Grr. Had to drive all the way home to get em. Redic. I wonder if there will ever be a day for me without drama of some sort?! lolllll...
Gym time: crosstrainer- 65 min, 4.59miles.

Work 10-6 tomorrow. Hoping for a slow day, cuz I'm not feelin the whole workin thing right now :rolleyes:
 
Totally feel you on the work thing. I'd love a year off to get fit and focus on my health.
We can dream!!

Weighin tomoro. Eeek. Followed your advice re fibre and got 32g but well see if that clears it.

Good job on the 100 minutes the other day. I'm aiming for 120 tonight to make up for some somewhat lazy days. Here's to a decent weigh for the black team tomorrow!

MEEE TOOO! Ah, such is life tho. Make the best with what you've got... Hope the fiber tip helps :) you may not notice at the very beginning, but its just super healthy in the long run :)

lol, nothin to be confused about :) my gym is a 24 hour unmanned gym, so they give us these little disk key thingys, swipe it over a sensor and it opens the door. :)

SERIOUSLY hoping for a decent weigh in tomorrow! I've been *pretty* good the last week, minus a few bad foods :blush5: . Hope ya got your 120 in :) I'm skippin the gym tonight.. not feeling great :(

there are definately days that I don't wanna motivate myself, don't wanna deal with the gym, just wanna go buy fatty foods and sleep all day... just gotta try to push myself before my inner voice(lol) speaks up and says, sit down and enjoy some lovely chocolate and tv :D
 
Work went by pretty fast today, which is terrific! After work, I was STARVING tho, and decided on the way home to swing by the grocery store and grab somethin. Well, I shouldn't say SOMETHING, because I had the hugest craving for the jojo fries that the deli has :rolleyes: I told myself- I've been pretty good all week, one serving won't be horrible... In reality: I KNOW that the one serving would be a setback; I'm just trying to make myself feel okay with it. SO I get to the store, decide to just take my debit card in with me, open my wallet- no card. Dammit. Left it at home. no biggie- I'll write a check... Ohhh looky there. No ID. EFFFF. Also, no discover card. Why the hell did I even have my purse today, lollllll! All the important stuff got left at home anyway, hahahaaa. So anyway, no form of money to pay for any bad foods, so I just came home. BUT- I took it as a sign :) It stopped me from the bad stuff... THank goodness.
Bad news tho: Didn't go to the gym tonight. :( I seriously feel like crap... just gonna sleep. I'm dissapointed in that tho, cuz tomorrow of course, is the first BL weigh in, and tonight shoulda been my "last chance workout" :rolleyes: . So I can only hope to see a decent number on the scale in the a.m. We'll see.

Like when I go through the drive thru and they forget my fries, I get mad but tell myself it must be the universe saying to skip them. It's happened so many times.

Great job on the exercise girl! You are motivating me. Keep it up.
 
Damn I haven't had some good JoJos in a long time! Good thing no one does them well here in Georgia. It's probably best that you weren't able to go to the store and pick those things up, especially if you already felt crappy later in the evening. All that grease would have made it worse and your weigh in most likely would have reflected it. No worries on the missed workout as it happens to all of us, I only got 90 minutes in last night because I was so tired. Probably could have fallen asleep on the treadmill if that were possible.

Ohhh man, when I think about how I woulda felt after the grease.. *shudder*... I don't eat greasy stuff very often, so it definitely affects me, ish.
90minutes is pretty frickin impressive still! But I feel ya there- I've been that tired before. Good for you for still doing it :)
 
So I'm eating a veggie delite from Subway. And after I'm done, I think I may chew on a piece of Wrigley extra gum. lol. <-- thats what forum product placement looks like. Take THAT biggest loser, hahaha! No, but seriously, my sammich is delish, but its making me sleeeeepy. Ughh. Even got more sleep than normal last night! I do have a killer headache right now, tho, so that could be helping the cause...
I frickin papercut my finger crazy bad today- right on the crease where I bend it! OUUCCCH! Then went to pick something up and it slipped thru my left hand and broke my nail.. hurt a little, just looks ugly, but not a big deal. Then, an hour before I get off work, I'm checking somebody out, turn to talk to an employee, and as I'm scanning this product, I manage to swipe my right thumbnail RIGHT under the scale edge. Oh.my.god. I thought I was gonna cry!! It ripped half my nail off, wayyyy below the nail line; bled like a mofo. Its throbbing, aching, STILL bleeding, and just looks horrid. Even typing hurts :( I was a damned clutz today. Shiiit.
Anyway; I caught up on last weeks BL last night; I'm gonna go watch the new one now, cuz I have nothing better to do right at this exact momento. Took some ibuprofen; headache is feeling MUCH better, and will be back to update my gym time later tonight! :)

And oh.my.god. BL WAS just drama tonight. I do NOT like Melissa; she's most definately my least favorite. I don't care for Miggy either, cuz seriously? Why not just do what you're there to do?! You know that *eventually* people are gonna start getting serious in the game; most of them aren't even trying to make friends. SUck it UPPP. lol.

In conclusion: that show makes me wanna eat chocolate. lol.
