Ate too much today. :blush5: Not a TON more than I'm sposeta, but yeah. I did. Feel kinda gross now, lol. Won't be doing THAT again!
Workout: Didn't do the squats or lunges for this weeks challenge... minus me a point. dammit! PLUS- I don't think I'm gonna get credit for week 1 since I submitted my response at 11ish pm.. can't catch a break. oh well.
Cardio: crosstrainer: 65min, 4.53miles. same as yesterday, tho with more strides taken... interesting considering its a PREPROGRAMMED course!

Missing the gym for the THIRD time this week. I'm soooo exhausted tho. :( its aweful.. Need, absolutely MUST figure out how to schedule my gym time better. However, I'm gonna do some squats and lunges in my room before bed, lol. JUST to get some damn points for the challenge, lollll!
Food and calories were pretty decent today up until I got off work at the pool hall and went to get my paycheck from the grocery store... THen I bought jojos. :piggy: redic. Soooo, that greasy mess PROBABLY put me over the top. On the upside, I was at 1150 for the day before them, so it was probably not horribly over the top. OR I could be completely wrong and I'm trying to justify. Yup. I think thats what it is :rolleyes: And then I ate some cantaloupe, cuz I REALLY wanted something sweet. At least it was fruit, and not damn chocolate again.
Working 11-8 tomorrow. Gonna spend a coupla hours in the gym afterwards. TWO days off a week from the gym is acceptable. 3 is not. I committed myself to this, and dammit- I'm gonna STICK to it.

I know how easy it is to skip days and find yourself slowly slipping out of the cycle. Just stay focused and determined as ever!
 
Heck yeah Miranda, I'm in :) I'm DAMNED determined to get it done this time. I've had my setbacks- eating too much, missing the gym more than I should per week; but I'm SO ready to be skinny already. UGGH! Glad you're back :) I've missed ya!
 
Soooo. So far today I've done pretty well :) had a delish turkey sausage breakfast bowl; had salad and a sandwich for lunch, with a little thing of mixed fruit for dessert; got off work at 830, came home and ate more salad, annnd then a piece of chocolate cake :rolleyes: it wasnt a small one either. And my stomach hurts now. LOL! GODDDD I can't catch a break. Need some damn hypnotherapy to get rid of the cravings for bad stuff. AT LEAST it was only one piece, and I'm verrry full. GOnna sit down, watch some tv, then head to the gym for a coupla hours. I know that my friends have bunches of plans goin on tonight- but I just can't go out. A- the drinks. Ugggh. When I start, I don't stop. Can't afford the calories. B- the MONEY. Ohh.Emm.Gee. I'm sooo poor right now, its not my proudest moment, fershur. Can't afford the drinks to make me fatter, hahaha! So tonights a vegg night. Chill at home with a blanket(it got up to 40 today- HEAT WAVVVEEE!!) and a big ole liter of water. Mmm. lol. Redic. On the upside- the gym should be pretty dead on a Saturday night, so I can get all my weights in and burn off that cake. Also I'm super happy to report that even tho my food hasn't been the GREATEST in the last week or two, I'm staying right at and below my current weight.. So all the gym time is at least helping me maintain. Imagine! If I would just eat good all the time I'd probably be down another five or six pounds... :rolleyes: lol. horrible...

I've seen parts of your 3 older diaries. Trying to learn from other people's experiences. I'd love to see you be successful this time. I'd have eaten the chocolate cake too if I had any in the house. Even worse, probably would have skipped the salad. ;) Don't beat yourself up...most of us don't have that kinda willpower. I cleaned house of unhealthy foods when I started and it's really helped. Any chance you can get rid of the sabotage foods?

My FIRST diary from yeaaars ago was actually when I was super successful :) lost 40lbs. had some shit go down, gained it all back :( But I'm over (for the most part) all that drama, and am super excited to make it work this time. THanks for stopping in :)
 
Ended up falling asleep watching tv. JUST another sign of not getting ENUF sleep when its neccessary. Still made it to the gym tho. And I was correct! Not a soul there :) LOVE that. Set up three little weight "stations" to do; went from doing a rep on one to the next and so forth. Did 120 squats. As much as I hate em, they DO help. But I made the mistake of doing them before cardio. AACK! Never again. Nope. I'll do it afterwards... No lunges tho.. they reallly hurt my knees.. can't handle em.. Overall: about an hour total of weights and squats.
Cardio: crosstrainer, of course :) : 65 minutes, 4.59miles. Upped the resistance a level today. A little bit harder, but I sweat a lot more. Got the heart rate up there, worked all the obligatory cardio using muscles.
After workout snack: pb toast, and veggies with tzatziki sauce. OMG!!! I loovvveee tzatziki... its effin wonderful!

Tomorrow I OFFICIALLY start the management training at work... Yayyy. Kinda. lol. Work 330 to midnite, then gonna hafta take the night off from the gym because on Monday I work 10am to midnite. Gonna be a long day. DEFINITELY gonna need my beauty sleep. Will still do squats at home tho, and may break out my little rubber band thingys to try to get some extra work done on the arm flab. We'll see.

Gasp! The horror. You work in a grocery store!?! If the Food Network is porn for people who love to eat, the grocery store is just...(sigh) I can't even say it. There are underage people on this forum.
I commend you for any restraint you are able to practice and every day you get by with only one piece of cake. Lesser women have tried. My hat is off to you madame!

NICE! I'm right there cheering you on! There are way TOO many options at the store to steer me in the wrong direction. Luckily, I have found that the fattening stuff doesn't have the best smells. Follow me on this... A package of Oreos doesn't have the same sugary smell of an apple OR A pint of Ben and Jerry's doesn't even compare to the smell of a sweet cantaloupe. Since it is proven that we make 75% of our food choices based on smell, it seems as though it should be easy to pick the right foods at the store. Right?

Trust me, I know the scientific mumbo jumbo makes logical sense but I also know the innate tendency to grab the foods we find comforting no matter what the reason. All I'm saying is that when you feel the urge or craving for something you shouldn't have, think of picking up an orange instead.

My new favorite desert is the low carb ice creams, I think by Breyers, vanilla with chocolate coating bars. Mmmmm So good.

Yeah, I've only been there a coupla months. My LONG term goal is to open a supplement store- mostly cuz I hate GNC that much, lol!
The skinny cow truffle things are AMAZING. love em... I hafta buy em that way because if I buy a tub of ice cream, healthy or not, I'll eat the whole thing without blinking, horrible!!
 
Ohhh man. I haven't posted in what, two days?!~ crazy. Not on purpose tho, just been soooo busy with work its crazy. Next week should be back to normal tho- my manager training is done tomorrow, yayy! Didn't go to the gym on Sunday night, since Monday I worked 10am to 1230am- too long of a day to deal with for that, and then last night I didn't go either! AAARGGG!!! I came home from work at 1230am and PASSED out. so tired. I'm tired now too, but its not stopping me tonight. Noooo sir. Gotta get in there n get my butt in gear! Food has been sorta iffy the last few days. :blush5: Just came home and ate a salad with some tuna right now. Will be back to update gym time later!

I hear you on buying ice cream in any size other than 1 serving. I too will buy a box of bars, and next thing you know I am going back for 2, then 3, then 4, then the box is gone, and I tell myself no more!!

I only had one bar last night, so I was good. Whew!

I hope works slows and you get some 'me' time soon!!

One thing I started doing is asking myself every day, "what am I going to do for me today?" It's helping motivate me to do things that will make me happy, instead of always focused on making everyone else happy between work and family.

OH.MY.GOD. Seriously, the forum is taking FOREVER to load for me! I was able to reply on one diary, and then it just sorta quit. psh. whatevv. Sooo I'll try to update on everyone tomorrow :) but its been like this for 2 days now. weird.
ANYway. Tonight: 65minutes and 4.6miles on the crosstrainer, 100 squats. Dannng. My thighs hurt a little, lol. I don't like squats, so I'll be happy when tomorrow is over and I don't need to do them everyday, hahaha!
Food was *pretty* well back on track today. Confident that my day off will be just what the doctor ordered to be completely back in control. I'm still maintaining, which is terrific, but like I said in an earlier post: Imagine where I could be weight loss wise withOUT the junk?!
