Reaching For the Dreams....

Hi Jacqui,

Just catching up with everyone. You sure have a lot going on. Take a big number 9 and post it on your bedroom door, on your headboard, on your diary, and everywhere else! A D1 school is quite exciting. From your diary it was obvious that volleyball was serious for you, but a D1 school......you go girl! Do not let anything get in the way of running towards your college goal.
Keeping walking, keep counting, keep going!

I'm not so sure about the rich man's son.......but an answer will come through somehow. Hang in there and just keep doing your best for the animals.

Lastly, I'm quite curious..........what are you walking on in the bedroom???

The number nine thing is a great idea! I think i'll use one on my dad's old tees and put a huge nine on it and stick dead center on my door! Thanks for the great idea!

What i'm walking on? Well, when we tore up the carpet, it seems that the previous owners had covered the floor with a ceap partical type board flooring and NAILED it down... so we had to put a bazillion screws into it so that it wouldn't squeak as much. It's covered in paint, scratches and is just plain ugly, so I can't wait to get the nice flooring in!

Dinner: Turkey Sandwich and broccili cheddar soup

heehee.. my real father's going through that right now with my little sis. She has a boyfriend, and goes over to his house all the time. Yesterday though, my father didn't want to let her go. :D He called it "leaving the nest" syndrome. I don't know why though, everyone is still here, including my 20 year old brother...

ok, so PMS = bad for diet...

breakfast: 2 bowls of cereal
lunch: potato burrito &frosted fudge brownie
Snack: 1 big sour cherry & chocolate chip cookie
Dinner: 1 apple

BUT. I did go to the horses, and I was the only on there, so I got there, talked with Vel, then groomed Jessie, picked up piles of poop from 25 stalls (have to do it when shavings are done in the evening, so that you're not just burying the poop) then, I put shavings in all the stalls, then I did record time on the feed, passed the buckets out, and then fed all the horses with Vel. Fun fun.

AND THEN... I came home, and went on a 4 mile walk! And it was speed walking too! *woot* go me! :D I'm rather proud of myself actually. I decided to go, and I went. Just like that. I'm getting better at doing that! :D

horse stable work has to be a good workout *flexes biceps* add in the 4 mile walk and you really had a great day IMO !!

You'll be in those skinny jeans in no time daughter *puts the death grip on my credit card and winces*

:D:D I certinly hope so! Then I can start wearing the same size as my sister! That's my goal, to share pants with her. (she wears anywhere from an 8-10)

way to go for speed walking 4 miles - youo are a walkstar!! :D that's awesome..

Ooooh a walkstar! I like that name! I think i'll put it on my resume! :D

I have this feeling that it's going to be a good day. First off this morning, after being scared witless by my alarm, I woke up to find a perfectly blue sky with the birds singing. It was extremely satisfying, and I felt compeltely content for the first time in a few days. I stayed under my covers for probably a little bit longer than I should have, but that's ok. Then I ate breakfast, and controlled myself by only eating 1 bowl of blueberry morning with "light" vanilla soy milk.

then school. I heard one of my favorite songs on the way, and had a good conversation with my sister.

So far, it looks like it's going to be a good day. :D I'll check back in later to let y'all know whether or not it turns out as good as the morning.

Xorie good for you for working so hard at the horses, and also for going on that walk. It's difficult to be your own source of motivation and you did that. That's wonderful! You'll be stealing your sister's jeans in no time :rotflmao: that's the best part of having a sister. hahaha....my sister wears my stuff occasionally, stuff I haven't been able to wear in years, and I thoroughly miss her yelling at me for stealing her shirts. SOON we will both be closet thieves!

I hope your day turned out as beautiful as it began :) Have a great afternoon!

Good afternoon.........just seeing what's up........I'm a little bored. I need to get moving. Cripe I can't do more than a couple chores before I find myself back on WLF. Hope you're having a good day :)

Ok, I'm back! Sorry about not being by in a couple days. It's been kind of crazy, with the concert, schools nearing it's end, chores, horses, and just life in general. Anywho, I can say though....

188!!! FINALLY I broke the 189 barrier! I'm so happy. Maybe now I can start moving down the scale again!

Ok, that's about all that I can say now, as I need to leave to go to school. Have a great day everyone!

way to go for breaking 189 - you've earned it - you've been working your behind off :)

have fun at school - learn lots :D

Thanks! I wish that my behind was going... but alas, its as big as ever. And fun at school? ha, funny. Maybe in 5th period.. but that's about it. :D

Congratulations, Jacqui!! Breaking this barrier is only one of many, I'm sure! :hug2:

Thanks, and I definately believe so! :)

Congrats on the 188 xorie !! Like jlynne said, this is just one of many !!

Keep it goin' on daughter !!

Oh I plan too. It was very encouraging to see 188 on the scale this morning. Very. That's why I didn't reach for another bowl, and why I made my lunch for school, rather than waiting until I got home to make it and end up eating waaaaay too much!

Congratulations!:) That's awesome Xorie, great job. You managed to lose weight during the most stressful time of school.:) Have a great day!
