Reaching For the Dreams....

Don't feel so bad. Two bowls of cereal could be ALOT worse... wasn't two bagels... or two loaded biscuits from a drive thru.

Its ok. Just stick with your goals later in the day too.

Have fun today.

I keep telling myself, "it could have been worse" and then stick to my plan for the rest of the day. It's pretty nice. The sun came out today, making me feel happy, but now my throat is starting to hurt, which is bad, especially because I have a concert on Wednesday of next week, and I cannot afford to get sick.

Other than that, I'm looking forward to making a banna and berries smoothie. yummy. :)

MoonGoddess is correct. 2 bowls of cereal may not be ideal but it is most certainly better than two bagels, which is what I'd actually prefer. I'm a cereal addict too. I get ya :) Yes make sure you drink some tea, or whatever ritual you perform as a singer to soothe your throat.:) Have fun at volleyball Xorie

I drink this wonderful thing called "Throat Coat Tea" it works wonders. :D Lunch was a toasted turkey sandwich and a banana

Snack was an apple

Dinner was a small turkey sandwich and a little bit of tillamook cheese
With a ice cream sandwich for dessert.

oh me goodness, two not so good days in a row. I'll do better tomorrow. I just got a new notebook to write everything down in, so hopefully that will keep me going. I think part of the reason I ate the ice cream was, I took it on impulse, then was going to throw it away after 1 bite, but it just felt sooo good on my throat, that I didn't...oops. oh well.

ok, well, I ran enough at practice to make it all go away! :D lol. J/k, but we did run a lot. :D And, I got a slight boost today. Bill Neville, (my coach) said that if I really wanted to, I could play at a D1 school...when he said this, inside I felt like this...:eek2: it was strange, because I knew that I was good, but I didn't think that I was THAT good. And I trust him. He took the Men's National team to the Olympics, and got the gold...Now I have to figure out where the heck I want to go to college, and whether or not that school has a volleyball team.

It also means that I'm going to start running and getting in better shape so that I can be even better than I am now. I can jump ok, but if I lose another 30lbs, I mean, BAM! I'm going to flying over that net! :D Can you say this is good motivation?

Well, I took a nap, so i'm not off to bed yet, as I'm wide awake. G'Night everyone!:D

Xorie that is so fantastic!!! It must be amazing to know that you have the talent and skill to play at the collegiate level. What colleges are considering again? I'm excited for you! You'll be able to burn off 30 lbs. I know it. And you'll feel so good!

Colorado mountain college
Montana State U
Washington State U
a couple of community colleges
Stephens College in Missouri
and Montana State Western

These are the main colleges that I'm considering. I really want to go to Stephens, but it's 30,000 a year. I don't have that kind of money, and I don't believe that they give out volleyball scholarships. I'm writing a letter this summer and should have it shipped out by the end of june.

Breakfast: 2 packets of Quaker oatmeal
Snack: apple

Going to the horses today, but I don't think that i'll be able to get my walk in. My sister's show is tonight, and it'll go pretty late. But i'll try.

Maybe you can pace some where ever you are. Every lil step adds up in the long run right? Besides who wants to stand still.

Have fun tonight!

Thats what happens at the horses. I'm always on my feet walking around, so it's always good for me. :D

so if you're walking around that's a good thing - remember we're shooting for 90 percent of your goal :) actually 90 percent as a team - so you'll get there :D

Hey Xorie!

Long time no see. Lol. I've been really busy with school this year and most unfortunatly it's interferred with my time spent on the forum.

I am def still rootin for you though. Like I've always said before. We can do this.

Much Love,
Jen

oh me goodness! I've missed you! I was wondering where you went too, and actually was about to go visit your diary to beg you to come back! :D I'm glad that you did!

Anyway,

Lunch was 1 piece of toast with a slice of cheese and a 2 slices of turkey on it.
Snack was about 1 slice of a cheese quesadilla (I had made a whole on, but I gave almost all of it to my pitiful looking dog. :D)
Then i experimented with my blender and tried to make a peach smoothie....dinna work, so i'll try again later

Dinner was 1/2 of a small philly cheese steak, and about 15 fries. I was totally proud of myself for not having any more, and for not ordering dessert! *does happy dance*

Other than that, We at ERA got some bad news. Mr. Jerkface "Alan" is trying to kick us off the land that we are using for the barn.  Vel got a letter this morning saying that we have 30 days to get out.....

riiiiight... 30 days to find a new property, build a barn, and move 25 horses...you've got to be kidding me. We just got the news today, so I'll find out more about what's going to happen on Monday. Cross you're fingers that some rich billionare spares us about a million dollars... :D I mean, Bill Gates DOES live in Washington...

Well that stinks!

Sounds like you have your hands full. Don't have any ideas for you, but I do with you & those horses luck in finding the perfect new place.

Breakfast: 1 small bowl of cereal
Snack: 1/2 apple
Lunch: burrito with potatoes and eggs
Snack: banana with peanut butter.

Now i'm cleaning my room, so that my dad and I can put my wood floor in finally! I'm excited. We tore out my carpet 8 months ago, and I'm finally getting my real floor down now! :D

Hi Xorie

I wish you luck with all of those schools. Choosing a college was a really tough decision for me, so I ended up choosing climate first and then working from there. You seem better prepared though.

I've been trying to experiment with my blender as well, so once you develop a yum recipe, let's share! I'm so sorry about that rich dude trying to force you and the horses off of that land. If it was a movie, some rich millionaire would offer assistance and then (if you were old enough and single haha) whisk you off kicking and screaming to a life of luxury while you taught him the true meaning of life. SO...I hope that something great does happen and you guys are able to stay put. What a jerkface indeed. Sorry girl, that's stressful.

I hate carpeting, I have it all through my apartment, it's just a bed for bacteria and bugs. I'm really jealous you are getting a wood floor :) , that's awesome! Have a great day.

Well.. I'm 17, but I am single! :D Maybe it'll be a rich man's son! :D

oh, and j/k on the floor... NEXT week dad says... i'll belive it when I see it... :D

:rotflmao: A rich man's son indeed! hahaha oh cripe and you are 17 aren't you...well then I'll be waiting to see how this story unfolds. Hopefully it won't make me roll my eyes.
