Back whe I was in school, for a few years the school superintendant who was the guy who said yay or nay to snow days - was from buffalo - we NEVER had snow days - the buses couldnt get thru some days but we still had to go to school :) ahh good times I tell ya :D

Lunch: Beef with broccoli, and not all of it either! I left some on the plate! I'm getting a lot better at doing that too.

Don't know what's going to be for dinner, but we'll see.

Went to the horses today. It was fun. :D I got some really good pictures of the newest horse we have, Major. I can't wait to get them on my computer and actually see them outside of the tiny display screen on my camera. :D

Breakfast: 1 bowl of blueberry morning cereal w/soymilk

Lunch: spinach raveolli

Snack: apple with peanut butter

Dinner: 3/4 of a chicken burrito from taco time and water. ( I was so proud of myself for leaving part of my yummy yummy burrito. :D

AAAAANNNNDDD.... I HAVE MY FLOOR! It's so pretty! :D I'm happy about it. And tomorrow, my dad is going to put my baseboard, door casing, and window casing in. It'll be white, and the walls are a rich deep red, and the floor's a medium light brown color...*sighs happily* it's so pretty. :D

Your room sounds beautiful and I want to see the picture of your horse! You're doing so well with restricting your eating, you're always eating half of this, or 3/4 of that, which is really difficult. You're doing great :) Have a nice night Xorie.

Hello. I'm sixteen, and I'm at my starting point, about 20 lbs heavier than you were when you started.

Right now, I'd really like to get down to 180.

It looks like you've been doing a fantastic job so far-- yeah, denying the food is the hardest part for me also.

Good luck with your weight loss. I hope I can get headed in the same direction you're in. :)

I really like the room now. It's almost perfect. :D And i'll have to re-take the pictures of Major. I had been playing with the ISO on my camera, and on the little display case, the pictures looked amazing! BUT... when I pulled them up to print some out... LOTS of grainy-ness... I was so mad. But oh well, I'll get more, and then post them. Have a great night too!

I think that it's great that you're changing your lifestyle now! And it took me a loooooong time to finally get any kind of self motivation to not eat this, or not eat that, or to leave some of that on the plate. I have no doubts that you can do this! I'll stop by your diary as soon as I have time!

I'm so glad you have your new floor!!!

ME TOO!!! I'll have my daddy take pictures of my room and then post them here for everyone to see! :D

I know! I was talking to my coach, who took the men's team to the olympics and got a gold, and he said that the Chinese had plays and moves that he'd never seen before!

and don't worry, i'll keep my room clean for at least a week this time... :D

Oh me goodness....i'm sooo sore. I think that I walked about a total of 6 miles today... It was fundraiser day for ERA, and we did pony rides. I walked around the arena so many times, that I know how many steps from one end to the other! :D BUT it's good because that means that a lot of people came to the fundraiser. I also rode too! I didn't ride a "pony" because i'm too big, but we had a horse, Chaut, out for the bigger people who wanted to ride. It was fun. And even just by going around the arena 3 times, my inner thighs are complaining slightly. Oh man, oh man, are the riding lessons going to help me! :D

Breakfast: PB&J sandwich (there were no "breakfast" foods in my house!)
Lunch: super speedy eating of Spaghettios
Snack: apple w/ peanut butter
Dinner: pizza steak(a little bit) and some potatoes.

It's a good day today, and i'm really tired, but in a satisfied kind of way. :) I want to go to sleep now... or take a reeeeeaaaaaally long bubble bath... that would be nice too. :D

i wana ask u a question my volleyball princess! how do u hit the ball such that the area below the side of your thumb doesn't hurt? I get terribly sore in that area after playing a while.

and ooh.... after the tournament yesterday, the mgt has decided to turn the whole area into 4 new beach volleyball courts! 24 tonnes of sand imported frm Malaysia just for it. Can't let it go to waste.. lol:p
hope i can get some frends to go soon! ok maybe not dat soon... i dun wan my fats to jingle infront of all the beach hunks!

I don't know, I'd really have to see what you're doing to really figure it. But, maybe you're hitting the ball off the side of your hand, rather than with the full palm of your hand. I'd suggest making sure that when you contact the ball for a serve or hit that you are using the full area of your hand to get the most control and support for your hit.

Hey Xorie, that's really cool, you logged lots of miles volunteering and it sounds like it was fun. I hope you have a lovely bath and enjoy relaxing. Walking around for hours like that is hell on your body! Wonder if you'll feel it tomorrow morning. :)

So much for relaxing. I had a tough night last night. I came home, had a small period of elation for my room, and then, BAM crashed and wanted to cry. I think that part of it, or maybe most of it, is the fact that no one in my family really cares about what I do at the horses. I've been working there for 6 1/2 months now, and they haven't even come out to see what I do yet. And yesterday, I was tired, but in a good way, and I tried to tell my dad how great the fundraiser was, and all I really got was a "oh that's nice" kind of reply. AND ERA has to be out by June 17th, and if we don't find a place, I'll have to go somewhere else for my lessons, and Jessie will be given away, and just, UGH. I'd never be able to do what I'm doing now. It really hit me yesterday, and I closed myself in my batheroom and had a small cry.

PLUS, I wasn't feeling very sociable then, obviously, and my brother and his 6 friends were over until about midnight last night.

*takes a deep relaxing breath* ok. That felt good. I didn't want to tell my dad about why I was in such a bad mood yesterday, so I'm glad that I have here to rant on.

Other than that, I was in a good mood this morning. The scale showed 187.4 for about 3 seconds, then jumped to 188. I'm going to go change my ticker now. :D
