YAY!!!!! Congrats on your loss so far!!! Keep it up. As far as what your in-law says, You know what works for you so you make your chioces for your weight loss. It is always helpful for different tips but you know you're body better then anyone else. Obviously you are doing something right.
As for the yoga, I also don't know much about it. I do the Denice Austin Pilates. It's only 20 min. There are two parts. One with pilates and the other mixed with yoga and Pilates. I had never done it before but I jumped right into to it and it was fairly easy.
But people do reccomend going to a classs for learing how to do the proper positions. BUt start from there. I think yoga is more of a spiritual, mind,de-stresser. As well as Pilates. "To eachs it's own".
