Whew, it's chilly out there! I didn't go very far on my run, but I am glad I went. The gym closes early today (I should probably know these things) so outdoors it was. I calculate about 2.8 miles and I was gone about 25-26 mins and have calculated that to be 270 cals. It definitely feels easier this week! I have a party tonight but am hoping to feel in good condition to run a long one tomorrow. Today was the warm up We'll see... the word of the evening is restraint!
I so admire you. I can't run outside during the winter--the cold just kills my breathing--hence the aerobics and such I've been doing. But I plan to start when the weather gets reasonable around here (whenever that will be).
Errr, didn't do my weigh in today - it'll have to be tomorrow...we didn't stay at home last night and our hosts don't have a scales! Oh well, one day isn't going to be a big deal. I'll post it tomorrow

So I dragged myself to the gym tonight It was tough though, I think it's easier for me to work-out in the morning. I have been on my feet all day - okay yeah excuses excuses I know... I did about 2.5 miles running and walking and figure I got about 207 calories... I have to pick up my exercising a bit more I have a 45 minute gym session with my gym buddy tomorrow though so that should help...
*drum roll* 4 week weigh in.... is 136lbs so I lost 0.5lb this week and am down 2lbs Not wonderful but hey - it's decreasing so that can't be bad
Did much better at the gym today. I got there early so had 50 mins and ran 5 miles - yay! My speed and endurance are getting back to where they used to be!
I have to confess that I did eat pizza last night for dinner. I am sabotaging my good work. I didn't go over my calories but that's a lot of fat! Brought chicken, wasa crispbreads and cottage cheese for my lunch today and the usual kashi bar for breakfast and a banana for a snack. I need to go to the store so I can change up my meals a bit. I think I am falling into the trap of eating the same stuff and then getting bored and pigging out on pizza and bad food Oh well, we live and learn
Hmmm... so I was curious about the calories burned today on my run....
I put the numbers into fitday and got about 450, the same stats were put into weightlossresource - 515.5 and then mapmyrun.com and I got 543 there. I guess I pick one to use for consistency? I'm sure you can guess which ones I prefer
