Under 350, Ms! And it was actually really fricking nice. A little sweet (I'm not mad on BBQ sauce) but the rice was lovely and although it tasted processed it was quite fresh and filling and not as bad as I thought it was going to be!

Laura, I know 1400 is good but I drink soooo much wine. I had a no-booze day yesterday and I'm just having a few cans of beer tonight with dinner as it's been "one of those days"..Excuses, excuse :dupe:
Still waiting to hear about the job, which sucks. I rang today and he'd already left the office and will be making calls tomorrow apparently but I'm pretty sure I've not got it.

Which is fiiiiine with me because I fucking love my job! Had a really good day with the kids today, only hindered by the fact that my sandals (my gorgeous, gorgeous sandals) broke at 12:30 and after failing to staple them back together I ended up barefoot the rest of the day. Whilst changing nappies, whilst chasing them outside, whilst taking them out to the buses at the end of the day and whilst working at the after school club, which involved cooking scones. Wasn't a good look for me. My feet could easily pass for hobbit feet right now. Feeling sexyyyy. :party:

I was supposed to take Quavers (crisps, 72 cals) and 2 apples for lunch but I forgot my crisps. They fell out of my bag on the way to work, I guess. It's like a siiiiign! No crisps for me!! So I just had the apples. Which were horrible.

Lunch: tiny horrible flowery shitty horrible apples (80)
Dinner: pizza (359) home-made chips made with 1 cal spray in the oven (150) rice (180)
Snacks: beer (141)

Total: 910 so will NEED to snack later. For calorie boosting reasons. Nom nom nom.
 
You sound like your doing great! Meanwhile I've been having a bad week, family down, lots of high calorie meals... tisk tisk.

Great feeling :)

I had two classic moments when i broke the heels of my beautiful shoes.
(1) Running in a airport terminal when changing flights - first flight was late & I had 10 mins to get to my next gate... Oh i must have been sight with one shoe with heel & and the other heel-less! haha!
(2) At a wedding last summer!!! I was so upset - they were my fave shoes - thankfully i managed to get them fixed!
 
Hobbit Feet! That made me laugh, as my oldest daughter (now 19) is a dark complected, dark haired beauty in every way... except she has what we have always called "Troll Feet".... just like those little plastic dolls with the psychedelic hair. We just kept them covered during the high school dating years, ;)

I'm a brewer of very good beer (if I do say so myself) so I understand your affinity for bottle of suds or a good glass or six of wine, but those calories are soooo not worth it, hon. I haven't gone cold turkey, but I'm close. I tell myself "It's a treat, not a staple."

Thanks my gorgeous people! Ended my calories at under 1000 last night which is not goooood. Well, it is good. But it's not good. So I am having a proper gorgeous lovely sexy delicious meal tonight and getting my calories up to compensate slightly for last night. It wont be mental...I've made home-made brownies (in the oven now!) which will be 195 each so I will be having one of them, and then a lean mince spag bol with a few garlic bread slices and 2 beers. I'm gonna treat myself!

Really enjoying the beers instead of wine--I thought I'd find it really hard as I do love my vino but I'm getting the same buzz off 2 beers and for way less calories. A bottle of wine is between 800-1000 cals and 2 of my beers is 282. So that's much better.

So yes, going to be a lovely slob tonight :piggy: But still under my 1400! Probably. Hopefully.

Got lots of exercise cleaning shit off the playground today. :willy_nilly:
Toilet training = fail. Been a hard day and I've come home, cleaned, baked and now I'm desperate for shitty television and a hot shower.

So yes.. *falls of sofa*
 
Hi Deary :) Haha I love how your personality pours through when you post. It is absolutely fantastic! Mmm I know what you mean about the vino, but yes, beer is less calorie-dense I suppose...:( Great job on splurging but splurging within reason. You are doing awesome :)

I baked ze brownies and I was all like "no, you look horrible and brown and nasty and you don't even smell that nice" so I gave them all to the Yank. Who ate all 16 of them. Seriously. Not sure where he puts it. And how the F he stays at 160lbs. It's not fair! :nopity:

So I ended up avoiding them completely! Which is great. So cals for the day were 150 for lunch and I'm gonna say 1000 for dinner and the beer to be on the safe side so I was still under 1200 for the day :D Very pleased.
Really excited to be good today--Yank is taking leftovers but I've got crackerbread (19cals a slice) and hummus so I'm going to be good :D Already drinking my water and it's only 7:15!

Good going on avoiding the brownies! Ahhh brownies. I've got good memories of brownies, but we had to break up...
 
Oh wow, I'm not sure I could handle making brownies and not eating them...in fact, I know I couldn't. That's why I don't make baked goods unless I have someone to give them away to, like taking them to a party or something. I make two pies and one batch of brownies each year for Christmas and I usually only get one brownie and one slice of pie because they're gone so fast--this year that will be a bonus, rather than something to pout about.

My husband's brother is like your yank--he can eat anything and he just manages to stay in shape. No idea how he does it, drives me insane to watch him eat a full dinner, 4 slices of pie, 3 brownies, 4 beers, a full bottle of wine all in one sitting (Christmas dinner), and then still fit into his clothes. I just don't know where it goes.
 
When I bake it's either a) not something the boyfriend will eat or (b) something he'll say he loves but will only eat one of and then he's done. Although he's not one of the "eat whatever he wants and not gain a pound" types so I guess I shouldn't force him to eat sweets, haha.

I can so relate. when i baked brownies, my husband had the whole tray (8 slices) I had one slice...and guess who put on weight? lol

Had a good few days--Food has been good but a few slip ups with drinking so not lost much, I don't think. Will see what the scales say in the morning. Having friends over tonight so shall enjoy that! Watching anime films and gonna play some PS3, pretending we're not adults :p

Ohhhh I've been rubbish. Too much booze, a take-away, like 7 packets of crisps...So I've lost nothing. Zilch. Which is shitty but completely expected. Tried to make amends last night by having a WW meal for dinner but the damage was already done I think. My anxiety has been playing up horribly and I barely slept last night but going to have a really good food day today. I have a shop coming after work with lots of healthy stuff. Lots of under 400 calorie meals for me and some junky-esque type food for Yank.

Right--no fucking around this week! Need to do this!

Also, photo from last week. -10lbs down. Which is okay, I guess! I'm the florescent blonde one. :ack2:
