Put that down, fatty! (For the last time!!)

Awww what a cutey! If you think you´re using "difficulty getting onto the forum" as an excuse for slipshod food logging you may want to keep a paper journal and just post the highlights here? Hope work is ok, it sounds very worthy but also very stressful!

Crisps for breakfast?? Haha :svengo: I think that would totally throw me out for the whole day. Need some protein in there so you don't have a carb crash later on!

Your cat is very gorgeous!

Yeahhhhh, it was at like 11:30 so I felt the crisps were justified. Or not... But they were yum!

Going to add to my food log now for yesterday--I know it was a reallllly low day just because I was so, so busy at work. Today should be better--Working from now until 3pm and then straight to the pool then home for dinner and an evening in. Not had much sleep (again!) so going to power through at the pool. Aiming to do a good work out and eat cleaaaaan today. My freezer broke last night so I'll have to go to the store as well.. I'd like to manage without one really. We don't have a microwave and that's just fine but think I'd have to draw the line at no freezer.. We shall see!

Does "crisps" strictly mean potato chips or does it extend to tortilla chips as well? I mean it's bad enough that you cal fries chips and potato chips crisps, but tortilla chips are crunchy not crispy so crunches maybe? I'm almost afraid to ask but what about Cheetos and Fritos?

Some people have a weird relationship with oil-soaked pieces of pressed or cut veg...

In the US and A, crisps are usually chips made from processed potatoes (like Pringles).

Glad that swimming is working out so well for you!

Hi Han. I love that you counted them! 114! Chips here are either hot chips(i.e.potato "fries") or just "chips" (i.e. crisps.) It can be confusing, but hey, we just like being different. :D

Haha I'm the same Cate (being Aussie, of course). Weird how different countries have their own names for everything, so confusing.

Crisps here are lovely :) We have lots of rules on how they can be made so the majority of them are "healthy" now. So usually under 100 calories a bag, baked, no oil used, wholegrains etc. The ones I like are called SunBites are they are multigrain and 30% less fat that normal crisps. We call tortilla chips Nachos and have them with cheese and dip, etc.

Chips are like fries here but baked usually and not fried. We don't have cheetos or anything... Our crisps are far less fun :(

Scales are 216.5 today so 1.5 downnnn. Maybe that extra 20 mins in the pool helped!

Yesterdays food:

Lunch: ryvitas and marmite (320)
Dinner: 1 cup pasta, cheese sauce, bacon and peas (730) home made garlic bread (340)
Snacks: 3 oranges (100)

Total: 1490
Exercise: 12,000 steps and an hour at the pool

You may not have fun chips, but you do have fruit pastilles. I might be willing to trade for that.

Great job yesterday! What is ryvitas?

Hiii Cory my lovely :) ryvitas are like thin wholegrain crackers that you can put cheese or ham and stuff on. Horribly good for you and taste like cardboard :)

Thanks Maria :D

Hiii beautiful people.

Food for yesterday:

Breakfast: trail mix of salt and vinegar nuts (220)
Lunch: skipped
Dinner: Yank made cheesey pasta with garlic bread.. I'd guess I had about 800 calories worth but going to overestimate at may have been more. (1000)
Snacks: Ryvitas with hummous (213)

Total: 1433

Was really pissed off because I'd made veggie pasta at work but because it was so busy I left it on the stove to have when it qas quieter and someone threw it away :( So I had nothing between morning and 23:00 last night so was absolutely starving when i got home and ate way too much. Calories still okay for the day but 1000 cals on pasta is no good at all!

Today is a glorious, glorious day off. And I'm going into work for a meetinggggg. Argh. Never mind. Once that is done I just need to go to the post office and then off to the pool for a decent work out. My friend came with me last time and was hard to concentrate so looking forward to just me and the pool as it should be quiet there this afternoon. Should be picking up a new board game at the post office as well so hoping to have some friends over tonight for a soberrrr evening.

Yay for the weight drop!!! Oooh what board game? I keep meaning to pick up Cards against humanity so I can have people around and play... it's the funniest game ever!

Hi girlies, it's called Settlers of Catan--It's pretty fun :) Played last night with some friends. Food was a bit bad..

Breakfast: skipped
Lunch: crackers and marmite (230) fat free yog (120)
Dinner: Veggie curry (540)
Snacks: way too much chocolate (640)

Total: 1530

Although, I swam for a glorious hour all on my own because the pool was empty. It was amazing. Had such a lovely time. And did my 10,000 steps. Going to have a good food day today--Am working in 45 mins until 23:00 tonight then it'll need to be bed straight after as I'm starting again at 7am tomorrow. Yawn. Have a good day everyone!

Ahhh... the settlers. My sisters love that game! Takes too long for my taste, but the set-up is fun.

Hi Han, Hope work is not too gruelling at the moment. You must be a strong woman to do what you do. Good for you getting your steps in, having a really good swim & having fun with friends, without alcohol. So, you had a bit too much chocolate. I don't know any perfect people ;) xoxo Cate
