I have this intense craving for fried rice...I make my own but I still don't like the way I feel after eating it, so I haven't given in yet but the pics and the topics in here make me want to go make it right now! Erm perhaps this is making me stronger? hahaha I hope so. That's so thrilling that you're 130, and seeing your observation about your shaplier arms and legs makes me feel reassured that the scale doesn't determine everything. Keep it up and I'm sure you're getting a nice calf exercise with those high heels :)

My calves! I was so bored at work just now.... dozing off after eating some curry.....so i kinda played with my calves. HOW? I kinda flex and unflex them and i realised I can do them in 2 shapes! Round or square! Ok maybe not 100% square but it's definitely not the norm calves I see other ppl have. So i went Round Square Round Square Round Round! Square! for like 5 min.... yea crazy gal here. My calves were like kinda sore after that hahaha.

I'd love to see a pic of your new hair color! I used to dye mine all the time, but I've been slacking in that area. I have 2 or 3 inches of roots showing right now. :eek:

Wats your actual hair color? Mine is of cos black and the last color i did has almost faded off. The stylist tot I colored black before???? Anyway mine is just highlight. Not whole head color. One of my guy colleague colored his brown but turned out golden. It was done at some mall and he chose a trainee to do it. So yucky poor fellow. His turned out like some HK triad gangster.
I hope mine shows well in the sun. I havn' been out in the sun whole of today cos it's so hot and humid.

Hey there Pinky your eatign sounds like mine lately...I havent been makin much of an effort lately other than exercising my butt off...Like ive been eating how i want too...not junk either just not the greatest choices _ I need to buckle down agian only fruits and veggies for me...ooohhh the hair sonds great we wanna see!!!

Hey, I'm also 5'2". I had posted a pic in my diary of me at 128 pounds from a few years ago. Of course at the time I felt "fat" (how silly!); I surely could've looked better but I know that was about as thin as I can get..knowing this from past experience. Wish I knew what page in my diary its on to refer Dari.

I t has been 95+ here with NO rain for 2 months actually to hot to do anything unless your floating in a pool lol.
I would also love to see your pics,I see the #'s and it's hard for me to imagine any problem areas lol. I hope you have a nice day Tammy:hug2:

Pinky, how's the elliptical going? Are you still into it? Have you thought about using a heart rate monitor when you use your machine? I use one on my elliptical and it definitely motivates me to work harder to get my heart rate at 80% of my maximum heart rate.

Liz/Tom - Maybe tonite. I got a function on and can get my colleagues to take calves pic for me. Maybe then they'll know why I still need to lose some more weight.

The hair color is just highlight. I didn't dye or bleach my whole head lol. It just look brown tone-ish under lighting or sunlight.

This is the first TOM since I came back on WLF. It's freaking me out how much I'm eating/craving. I dun think I'm putting on much but it seems that I've lost sense of feeling full after a meal????? Does it happen to u gals too?

U r HOT! I am still considered overweight if I reach 128(by 3 pounds). The BMI in Singapore is different... Duh why do we always have to be so different????

Woooo... that's hot. I dun like that. What can u wear????? I won't be able to wear my fav cardigans and stuff. I like to wear spag and cardi as my top. I think I hv at least 7 to 8 cardis. Hahaha....

I havn't used the elliptical eversince TOM started last week. I'll start again when it's gone. I did use the heart rate monitor.... oh manz.... it's really a killer. I only set at 75% of max. And keeps giving me hills to climb! This machine is really powerful.... I feel like recharged and energized after each workout. I'll be back on that by Sat i hope. I want to workout!

Yep it's morning.... same timezone as HK. They call at 930pm???? Hope they dun call u when u are sleeping!
 
lol thanks for the links, actually the Singapore index makes more sense right? Because it includes the theoretical risk for heart disease rather than just 'overweight.' That's cool.
 
Yea i think with our already small population (we are only a tiny dot on the world map hahaha), theres danger of us perishing and becoming extinct if emphasis is not put on this health issue. I was in the pioneer batch of Trim And Fit (TAF) program launched across the nation in the 80s. Those in the club have to got for regular checkups and I didn't go. The doctor was so disgusted with me that he struck me off as discharged and told me I don't have to come back ever again. OOps. Now I am paying back the consequences of my actions. :eek: It would have been so much easier to lose that bunch of fats when younger.
 
It would have been easier when you were younger, but 10 years from now you'd be saying "Why didn't I do it ten years ago". I wish I was doing this at 18 instead of 38, but I'm glad I'm doing it now instead of later.
 
Cannon - then I am glad I am doing it at 27 instead of 37.... yipppeee! I've probably added a few more years to my days on earth (tell me it's a good thing lol).

Hmmm looks like I might be able to step onto the elliptical as soon as tonite. YEAAAAA!!!! Will go with the flow and see how it goes... ahahhahahha. Oops. Now I don't think anyone can catch that.:rotflmao:

Now I need to double up my efforts. For the rest of this week, I will do in morning and night. I need to do lots of stretching as well. Walking and stopping in heels all day in CHinatown last Sunday has made my calves real big. Yucks Looks like a brick under the skin. And with a bit of bloating frm TOM... ewwwww.

A beach wedding to attend on 14 Jul. That shd make my butts wana move even more. Woohoo! I can see 125 in my mind now. Gonna be an awesome 3 weeks ahead!!!!

way to get motivated.What I meant by #'s was you said you weigh 136
that seems like not alot to me but I gues it wouldn't coming from some1
who weighs 180 lol.My sis N law weighs between 145-150 and she talks
about losing and tell her she doesn't need to but she said she's 5"2 and used
to weigh 115 and it really bothers her that she has gained 35 lbs.
I Can't wait to get near what you gals weigh I feel so great for once!
You must share a pic of what your wearing to the beach wedding.
Lol it isn't a Pamela Anderson type wedding is it g-string bikinis lol.
