ALriteeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

Here's my space! So excited.... hahahha. Never imagine I would do this but well i really need motivation:(

I'm 5"2 and 140 lbs. Been shuttling bet 140-142 the past week and it's driving me crazzzzzzzzzzzzzzy! Having so many social dinners and lunches didn't help at all. I still have a children's day celebration later in the afternoon.... there's gonna be lots of FOOD! Can imagine myself eating already.....

Anyway I'll try my best! Good thing it's in the park... so maybe i can run a few rounds instead of eating, haha!:D

Today's menu

Breakfast: Broccoli with strawberries, cup of green tea
Snack: 3 Fishballs
Lunch: Meatball soup (about 5 meatballs in them), small slice of Unagi (japanese dish)
Snack: Curry puff (really shouldn't have.... it's really fattening!)
Dinner: Not sure... prob broccoli and some chicken.

Btw, is it true that green tea aids in weightloss?
 
Yeah! Back from the children's day celebrations! The kids enjoyed the games and food! There were sandwiches, sausages, chicken nuggets, fishballs, chips, cakes and drinks.... I had abt 6 fishballs,3 nuggets and a sausage. So that was my dinner as it was already around 6pm. Thank God I didn't touched the drinks! It was those in packet form... chrysanthemum, orange or mango. Super SWEET stuff! One child had a sip and refused to take another because it was too sweet for him! :eek: I was tempted to finish the drink but I didn't... heheh.

After the celebrations, I went for an hour brisk walk. Hmm.... cute guys seem to be missing today, lol. Think maybe it was kinda late.

I can feel my arms sagging abit... time for some weights maybe? Hmm... will see what I can do at the gym tomorrow.

Missing ice cream..... will adjust my calories tomorrow to fit one in heheh!:D
 
Yes... it was hard! Esp when there were so much leftoversssssss....:rolleyes:
I tried hard to resist the sausages.... cos I imagined them melting into unused fats inside me, :eek: THat was a disgusting thought!

Glad today is almost over. Tomorrow is another day! Fight Fight Fight.... Ja!!!!:D

I know what you mean, I went to a party last night and practically half of it was spent debating on whether or not I should have a pastry. But every time I was about to take one, I thought of this site.:) So I didn't have any junk food, still had a lot of fun, and today I lost 2 pounds.
We can so do this.
 
The americans at my workplace love to bake and cook! I'm always fighting hard to resist those cookies, banana bread and whatever they bake. Oh one of them from Canada.... she's a mean cook! At her house, I've never seen so many cookbooks in my life before.

Alriteeeeeeeeeeeeee..... today's entry:

Workout: 45 min brisk walk (speed around 6.4)
Goofed around with some weights.... I know nothing abt weights! There wasn't anyone in the gym to ask too.
Food: Prune juice......

I'm not feeling very well. Constipated i think. :mad: Don't feel like eating anything. Maybe I'll force some fish porridge down during lunch.

Btw I tried to force myself into size 29 jeans last nite. It reached up to the waist but I couldn't button!!! Well... better than a month ago when I couldn't even get it past my big fat thunder THIGHSssssssssssss......lol:p
 
The prune juice works! Quite irritating now though cos the tummy is making funny noises. Hope u guys dun mind..... (*grrrrrrl........oops!):D

My first food entry of the day! (since it was only prune juice just now...)
Lunch:Cabbage, tofu and chicken salad.

I'm not in a mood to think now... just dumped whatever ingredient i had in the office fridge and sent it to microwave lol. Thank God i had lots of pepp n cayene pepp n mustard.... that helps abit. Quite nice actually haha.
 
Just stopping in to say hi! Sounds like you're off to a great start, good job with the will power at the park!

Your chili question: the calorie counter at Spark (sparkpeople.com) says that there is 269 calories and 16g protein in one 8oz. serving of chili con carne with beans. I figure that's about right, I made mine with very lean ground beef.

Keep up the great work!
 
hope your tummy is feelin better, your diet is very intresting to me, where are yu from? fish poridge is something i have never heard of , what is in it???
 
Tks peguin.... so yours hm made. I've a stall selling that near my place so wondering how much calories that wld be. I brought a canadian couple there n they liked it alot. The wife is an excellent cook and she said it tastes like those back home. I tasted it but found it a little salty. Hope they are able to adjust the salt portion if i order there. Haha guess in singapore, gd food is available eveywhere! I love western n chinese food!!!

i just finished an apple while typing this msg with one finger at a time! :D

Oh fish porridge is what u would call rice with soup, with fish slices in it. It's a popular food for 'sick people'. hahahha.... usually when u hv porridge, people would ask "Are you not feeling well?"

D prune juice! Urgh!

Don't want to eat anything after work. It'll be a waste.... all goin down the sewerage anyway. Lessen the hassle of going to the toi toi.

I think my body system will be well flushed after tonite. lol

Your from Singapore? I used to live in Malaysia and used to go to Singapore about three times a year with my family.

I miss the foods in Malaysia and Singapore. I loved Roti Canai, and used to go this place in Taman Tun to get Roti and Dhal. Yummy...curries...

I'm sure u miss the food. Food is in abundance and wonderfully cooked up here!!! Ahhh.... curries high in calories yea.... heard a piece of beef rendang has 500 calories???:eek:

GLad to meet someone who's been to my country. I used to frequent Malaysia like once a month. Great time of shopping and makan!!!!!:p That was before I decided to cut back on expenses and fats. lol. I like the chinese food in Malaysia too.... somehow tastes different from ours.

Hope u have fun hanging out here! :D
 
Hi PinkyDolly!!!!!! You are doing Execllent!!! I use to drink Prune juice everyday after breakfast. At first it I lived in the restroom and after a week I guess my body was ammuned to it and I was not making my visits that often:p but it's good for you. Have a Great Day and make sure you drink your WATER!!!!!:D
 
oh gosh, I hope your stomach feels better. But you're doing a very good job by keeping yourself in line. :D Have you ever tried the Crystal Light to go? The little packs of powder that you just pour into a bottle of water? They have tea, raspberry, peach, grapefruit, they're very good! You should try them if you haven't.

I'm feeling much better after a good night rest. Couldn't wait for morning to come when i went to bed! Thanks everyone for your concern.

jelly.... i think i drank too fast. I had two cups within an hour. Lesson learnt! But I guess my thighs n bums are quite well worked out after those toi trips lol.

peguin.... oh 'toi toi' is a common word here. usually used by cute gals like me kekekek!:p

crystalrain87.... Crystal Light to go? Hmmm never tried that. i'll hv to check the supermarkets. Not sure if they hv it. Is it sweet?
