Photocrazed - Journey to a Healthy lifestyle

I used to have a problem where I was nauseas ALL the time. Hubby couldn't touch my tummy because I was constantly feeling I would throw up. This has happened for YEARS!! 10 at least. I was tested for thyroid problems, diabetes, everything and nothing was found wrong with me.

Since I have started watching what I eat, I noticed I haven't been nauseas at all. I only get nauseated when I over eat. So, the culprit I believe is over eating. Who would have thought all along this is what it was. I mean, maybe it was too much of a certain thing or not enough of another, but I'm so happy I don't get nauseas so much now.

So sorry about the student! Auto accidents kill so many, every day. It makes me worried whenever I'm racing on HWY 17 (windy mountain road connecting Santa Cruz and South San Jose).

As for the nausea...hmmm, I had issues with uh, flatulance when I over-ate. When I don't, I don't have issues--it's great!....gross

Way to go on not touching those Kisses. That's some mad willpower! Sorry to hear about your student. That's very sad. I hope you're not taking it too hard.

wow who woulda thunk overeating would do that to you.
I felt ill the other day from overeating, i ate to many brussells sprouts and it gave me wind :O

Remember those kisses I bought a week ago?? I haven't touched them! YEAH GO ME!

We do the same thing - we buy chips and candy and such and it sits on the table for a good week or two unopened it is a great feeling!!!

Sorry to hear abt a student you taught being killed in an accident that must be really sad...

Great job on the exercising- I played volleyball in high school [quite well, actually] but I'm afraid my coordination has weakened since then- Hope you have a great day:)

Well we won our game last night. We already knew we would win if the team we were playing didn't pick up new players, and they didn't. So.. played for an hour last night. Had some fun. tried running around as much as possible. Another girl and I collided.. well, her knee brace and I collided, and I have a huge bruise and knot on the side of my left leg.

Today, I am working at the middle school. I had a 3.5 hr break in between classes, so I came home cut the grass, did some weeding and working in my flower bed, and then did the weed eating. Tonight is supposed to be weight training, but we'll see how that goes. Evidently I didn't stretch enough last night before the game and with the first serve, I put too much strain on my right lat. my right deltoid is sore too.. not sure about that.

Also, I was invited to play on a women's flag football league. I used to love playing football, and think I may have to go see how it works. .. Next week I have a game on Tuesday and Thursday. woohoo!

Breakfast
Smoothie
banana

Lunch
2 kashi pb bars

snack
pb cookies

Weight Sunday 154.6

Wasn't the best weekend for weight loss for me. I had a yardsale and was busy doing other things, so I didn't get to go grocery shopping, although I did have time to buy things for yardwork for last night. I haven't made the best of choices for eating, but I'm still trying. I'm subbing 4 days this week (only because my classes are cancelled tomorrow) and I'm stupid for doing this to myself. I have to get this research paper done and other reading etc. I have 2 volleyball games this week, and I'm hoping I dont' get a baseball size bruise and golf ball size knot again on my leg. hehehe. I'm so dumb.

Class is getting ready to come in, so I'll post a little later.

Well, I haven't really done 'real' exercise the last few days Saturday I spent the morning running back and forth between my neighbors house and mine when I had yardsale customers. Sunday/Monday, I worked in the lawn some and put down 13 bags of lawn soil and 2 bags of grass seed, so I probably spent about 4 hours doing that.

I have injured my left shoulder somehow, I have this dull pain shooting through it and couldn't sleep Sunday night, and took some motrin to sleep last night. I have a volleyball game tonight and will definitely not miss out on it.. hopefully I can work whatever out of it.

Be careful with that shoulder! If it's a rotator cuff injury, volleyball could play some nasty tricks on it. Be sure to stretch it out really well before you play. Sorry to hear it's giving you trouble. :( Hope it's minor and that it clears up really soon.
