Good for you resisting....it's those random midnight snacks that I keep stumbling over....maybe a time release padlock for the kitchen?
 
Hey photocrazed. Glad to hear the scales are going down and that you are resisting tempting snacks :) Weights will really help. I understand that more muscle = more calories burned so overall even if the scales stops briefly, you'll hit a downswing soon enough. Good luck!

I'm hungry. It's 4:45. I still have to do my strength training when I get home, and I'm hungry. I have had 610 cals so far, which doesn't seem like enough. I have had a ton of water. I'm working on my 7th- 16.9 oz bottle, so my stomach is protruding as if I'm full, but it's growling.

Should I eat something before working out, or should I do my best to wait until afterward?

Thanks for stopping by my journal the other day, appreciate the support. Seems youre doing great. We all have those sudden hunger urges, hang in there! Ive always had some boiled eggs (eat only egg whites, for me) in the fridge, maybe that can help :). And seems youre doing fine with the water guzzlin ;).

i'm kind of a busybody - so i feel obligated to point out your calorie count for the egg whites is a bit off - 1 egg white (large size egg) is just under 20 calories so x2 is 40 calories max.. :D (those 60 calories could buy a piece of dark chocolate)

Thank you!!! i was just guessing and hoping someone would point me in the right direction. =) So, now I can eat more.. Muaaaahhahahahhahahahahaha. Ok, enough of that! I'm still working on my apple. I am so glad I got to do my HIIT this morning!
 
I'm feeling really good this morning! The scale is moving in a downward direction, I have already trained, and eating a healthy breakfast. Now, if only I could get this silly homework done before class. OOps!

This morning I weighed the lowest I have weighed since the beginning of December. Plus, this is the lowest since I have been on this board 157.4. I only hope it keeps going in the right direction.

My sports bra is one that buckles in the back, and I am noticing how much easier it is to buckle it now. I may reach my original goal of 153 by my ski trip if I keep at it.

If you're hungry you can eat 2 apples, they're not very caloric! Or you can eat a low-fat yougurt and put in it pieces of apple or pear.
 
well done chick! and in response to your myspace comment i did in enjoy my swimming thanks - its nice to try something newer once in a while ..running cn get a bit stale for me sometimes.
youre sounding so positive - i really hope these results keep up for you :D

Well, I got some news today, and I'm not sure if it's good or not. I guess it'll have to become something positive. I found out my sister is 10 weeks pregnant. Which can be a good or bad thing, because she's only 18. She has been engaged for about 6 months now, but she isn't married, her boyfriend is still in school (high school I believe), and she is currently unemployed.

I'm somewhat terrified for her. Of course, I'm also somewhat jealous because I have not had any children of my own! This also makes me an auntie for hmmm... the 13th time.
 
Well, I didn't do as well as I had hoped today calories came in at 1640, I would have been fine had I resisted the cereal snack I had after dinner, but oh well!.
I wasn't even hungry either. I just had some because the hubs was having some. Gotta stop doing this!!

Tomorrow is a new day! Woohoo!

I hope to get in 3 miles on the treadmill tomorrow. Not doing HIIT since I have already done it 4 times since last Wednesday and I'm only working for 2-3 times per week. Tomorrow is plain jane cardio, not that there is anything wrong with it at all!

I'll pick HIIT back up on .. Thursday maybe. =)
