Sunflower , storm Ciara was awful . It rained all day here I am officially fed up of winter. It's still windy too and I believe cold snowy weather due over next couple of days. However yesterday was a much better day for me and I kept to plan for the day . Back in mode now .
 
We had a winter storm last week. I kind of like them but I wish I'd be able to walk along the beach in them.
 
Delighted you had a day on plan yesterday go you!! Oh god storm Ciara was a real pain too for me! The wind and the rain! Hope you have another good day today Petal!! Sending positive cheer your way! :)

No let up With the weather we have every possible combination today except sun .
I’m hungry today and I am blaming the cold .
Thought I come on here and browse so I might not eat .
It’s hard .
 
Sorry you are struggling a bit Petal, I just think it’s our bodies getting tired of winter and wanting to get artificial energy from somewhere. Just keep pressing on!
 
I´m always more hungry when it´s cold, too. Our well-meaning bodies think we still need winter fat even though thankfully we have nice warm houses!
 
It is so much harder to diet when it's cold. Sending you a hug, Petal as I can't send you any sunshine as we don't have any either today. It rained all night, which was lovely as we sure needed it, but I'm quite rugged up.
 
Em I am so fed up of winter right now . It’s blowing a storm out there now. Nice and cozy in bed though . LaMa my house can be a bit draughty but you are right and tired and cold combo is hard .

well I decided after posting here I needed to eat so I cooked a chicken breast in the air fryer with a little Cajun spice , a small new potato some sweetcorn , salad leaves and a chopped up apple . It has kept me full until now and I had a few grapes and a sugar free jelly before bed .
So I think if I’m hungry just eat my proper meal and what I am allowed rather than picking at bits . Happier now
 
So far so good again today . Lots of fruit so far and yoghurt for breakfast . I made a pasta dish with a tomato based sauce ( I admit sauce was half a ready made tub ) , a big serving of spinach and a little grated cheese . I will eat a proper dinner again . I am miserable when hungry and I have way too much going on in life at the moment so I need to at least feel full and satisfied . Otherwise I will turn to the rubbish food .
 
Definitely better to eat your fill on healthy food. A bit of maintenance beats stumbling into old habits by a mile.

Hi Petal! You got an air fryer - how are you liking it? I just got one for my birthday but haven't used it yet. We had a power outage from a big wind storm and such, so I still need to go shopping for air fryer ingredients. What is your favorite thing so far to make in it? I second your feelings about the cold. It's not snowy here, but piercingly cold and damp. I'm doing stretching and nice gentle exercises I can do by the fire ATM. I hope things settle down for you soon. So nice to check in and see how you are doing!
 
LaMa yes a bit of maintenance is needed for me just for another couple of weeks . I have had super stress last couple of weeks with the dog and other stuff but it is calm now and I’m looking forward to some time out .
Cate yes meals for me are the way to go . Snacking does not fill me .

Marsia I like the air fryer but so far only for potatoes which are delicious and chicken breasts which are great out of it . I did cook some organic pork burgers one day and the smell was awful . I will experiment a little more though .
Ok so I went to my class last night and I maintained. I did have a few days of grazing and not eating properly . So that’s water under the bridge now .
My plan for the next 2 weeks is
- stick to my SW plan from today until Monday night
- eat within reason what I like tuesday to Friday morning next week while I am away. This means some cake with coffee on 2 mornings and a dessert if i want one and also some wine with dinner . It does not mean huge fry up breakfasts and lots of toast , chocolate or crisps or fried chips . It does not mean bags of sweets at the airport or coffee and twice bars on the flights ( yep that was me ) I will at all times look for the healthy options where I can . My aim is to have a good time .
From Friday to class the following week be very strict and stick to plan and take whatever gain ( if I gain ) On the chin .

nice weekend ahead too some pampering booked and a walk weather permitting .
