Pequin Weight Journal

Man, that is a workout! I do 20 reps of anything and the next day I'm sore! But I have so rarely exercised in my life that I actually will sit there and say something like "man, my arms sure are sore, I wonder what from!" before realizing it may actually be the workout from the day before.

Thanx for stoppin by my diary, Ive been meaning to make it to yours...Thank for your kind words...The X thing...well that prob is that we still love eachother we just cant seem to make it work and the kids miss eachother...there are three of them...anyway...I think loving and loosing and having those dreams shatter ed is probually the worse thing I have been through and both times he left me I packed on the weight... but hey...we all have our trials...this time it is for me...at least I am stuggling with trying to allow myself that me time for my health and sanity...heeheehee...i look forward to checking into your journal chicky...hope all is well with you...

Sorry Pequin... It's weird I know to feel like your constantly putting food in your mouth alllll day and yet when you come on here to add it up your like what!? I'm 2-3-400 below my limit!? crazy once you start actully counting calories and realize what you used to have vs the healthy choices that aren't so calorie saturated....with my second salad yesterday I litteraly had to force myself to eat it all telling myself "gotta get those calories in for all the calories I burn", and I was still a couple hundred under.
 
Hey P! stopping by to say hi and all that! You lifted weights!?!?! Wow! How do you feel today, can you type? LMAO! Usually my arms don't get too sore from lifting, but my legs the day after dumbell squats hurt so bad I can barley sit down. Good luck with the weights and stuff.

Feeling great today!! A bit sore, especially in the tummy area, but not too bad, took Tylenol in the morning but tonight I'm ok. I think I like this health kick thing!! :eek::p:D

I did them all again this afternoon. Those 50 reps each are some hard earned goodness though - wowwie. The last few sets made me want to pee myself!! And I added some ab twists today- dad says they help with the love handles. We'll see... :p

Did really well for a Saturday - would have been right in the middle of my calorie goal but no... just had to have that Seagram's (Pineapple Coconut Calypso Colada) Damn it was worth it though! :D:D:D

Breakfast: Oatmeal (icky!) with brown sugar & cinnamon, baby banana & 2 slices of bacon
Lunch: 2c. lobster bisque, 2oz. seeded baguette
Snack: mini toasts with 1 T. hummus, mini champagne grapes
Supper: Chili con carne, fat free sour cream, 2 corn muffins
Snack: Seagram's Malt thingy

Totals:
CALORIES: 1,930
CARBS: 270
FAT: 45
PROTEIN: 86


Water: 96oz
Exercise:
1 mile walk in 22 minutes

Chin Stretches: 50 reps.
Abdominal twists: 50 reps.
Crunches: 50 reps.
Wrist Curls: 50 reps.
Bicep curls: 50 reps.
Tricep curls: 50 reps.
Hammer Curls: 50 reps.
Dumbell Rows: 50 reps.
Shrugs: 50 reps.
Tricep Kick Backs: 50 reps.

Seriously, Peguin, good for you for the strength training! It will definitely help you gain muscle and burn more calories!

Three times a week for strength training is good, you need time to let your muscles repair themselves in between.

Whoa...indeed, very inspirational pequin! What are Chin Stretches? The mention of those ab twists makes me want to go back to bed! Oh those hurt...and not in a good way!
