maybe you should try setting your alarm to get up early.... do your regular day and by the end of the day you should be sleeping soundly at a decent hour.

If that doesn't work, a couple shots of tequila might help ;)

Truth be told... I've never had tequilla. :eek: *hides in shame* Whiskey - oh yeah! (10 in 1 sitting during a mini drinking game, not even a buzz) but never tequila.

Hey girl, just stopping in to show you some forum love! Your doing fantastic! I'm proud of you. Look at all the walking you've done! And that cheesecake....wow....words can't describe my emotion...okay...how about jealous! I'll trade you king crab for cheesecake.
 
But I might be getting a walking buddy - Yay! My sister's feeling all motivated (jealous) about my weight loss, she says she may start tagging along. But I'd have to wait until evenings to walk. Don't know if I like that - too tempting to just skip it all together.

Yeah for you on the walking lately!!! A walking buddy can be great, keeps you accountable and getting going every day. If you are worried about being tired in the evening, then still get your morning or daytime walk in and the evening walks with your sis will be *BONUS*.

That is a really good idea! I hate waiting to walk in the evening - I like mornings better. Plus if she doesn't feel like walking - I'm not stuck trying to do a mile alone in late evening. Thank You Patty!!

As I have no car I have to walk eeeverywhere anyway, and sometimes that is definately more of a chore than a pleasure, but my favourite time is the morning, especially now its starting to get all autumnal here. The air is so crisp and fresh, and the leaves on the floor, and the promise of a new day, sounds corny but I love it!!
 
Got a couple of boxes in the mail today - the last of my stuff from the ex in Arkansas. Honestly, with exception of my CDs... I didn't want any of it. But it makes me happy to know he had to spent like $30 to mail them :D Last year at about this time I was unpacking a similar box of stuff and bawling my eyes out... then binged on a box of oatmeal pies.:eek:

This time - I don't even care. I'm so beyond over his ass! I have George Michael in my head singing "Freedom"...

Just got back from my walk... damnit I hate walking in the evening!! Almost got hit twice (one was so close I could feel the heat off of her car! - how do you not see the big girl in the powder blue track suit! Really people!!) AND almost got mugged!! Had to dial the phone and act like I was talking before they went their own way. BUT I passed an old lady with two small kids too.. I hate my neighborhood sometimes. It gives the heir of safety but deep down you know that it's a fraud. I think I just need some big manly arm candy to make me feel better.. ;) lol

Came in wayy under calories today. Mainly because I overslept AGAIN and missed breakfast AGAIN. But also... I've just not been hungry. I will do better tomorrow.

Breakfast: none
Lunch: Bun Rieu Cua (rice noodles with crab broth), 1 small carrot, .25c. broccoli
Supper: BBQ Chicken leg & thigh, baked potato with maragine(eww), cheese & fat free sour cream, green beans
Snack: Apple Walnut Muffin with flax seed

Totals:
CALORIES: 998
CARBS: 134
FAT: 24
PROTEIN: 62


Water: 128oz
Exercise: 1 mile in 20 minutes
 
Good girl for walking tonight. Walk every day. Build a habit. Someday you will not be able to imagine skipping it. It's a great time to think, decompress, get those endorphins *ahhhhh* going.

If you care to make a donation for my "walk in the morning" tip, I'd like to request a piece of cheesecake, hold the caramel sauce. I'll be by to pick it up in... let's see if you are in S IN and I am in SE TX, that's about 880 miles, so at 3 miles walking per day x 6 days per week, it'll take me 49 weeks to get there. I should be at my weight goal by then, and by gosh if I've walked 880 miles I deserve a piece of cheesecake + chocolate.

Hey i was almost going to Indiana for some conference.... but couldn't make it.

Hehhe... maybe next year can go on round the US trip. I shall demand a cheesecake from u then! Head office in North Carolina, Carey. Anyone wants a cute puffy hitchhiker in her/his home?:p
