I have to give credit for starting the pepper thing to my brother-in-law, he's a huge pepper-head. He can be seen picking peppers in the background with my sister on 'Roker on the Road' when they did their pepper show here in Indiana.

Bleh, pork rinds.. I prefer cracklin, deep fried pig skin mmm. :p

Yeah Sifen, they're good at doing that. But they're slowing starting to get that I'm serious this time.

Anyway, very laid back day. Went out with my dogs, put together my parent’s new computer and went on a quick Walmart run. And that’s about it.

I loved every minute of it.

And tonight, instead of munching on cookies like I wanted to, I gave myself and my mom a mani-pedi! Frenchy style.. wooo!

Breakfast: 2 egg whites, fried with non-stick spray, with 1/4c. leftover chili & 2 half dollar sized pieces of sausage
Lunch: 2 small, nugget sized pieces of sweet & sour chicken (left from Friday) & 1T. Mixed nuts, 1 small apple
Supper: Hamburger stroganoff made with super lean ground beef, Campbell’s Golden Mushroom Soup, mushrooms & onions, 3oz no yolk egg noodles & 1/3c. canned asparagus

Totals:
Calories: 1,306
Carbs: 134
Fat: 60
Protein: 145


Water: 8 8oz cups
Exercise: walked from one end of Super Walmart to ther other.. twice (forgot laundry detergent :rolleyes: ) Tomorr... eer today, I'm shooting for .71 miles, that's two blocks more than Friday. My goal being 1 mile by Friday. I'm hoping - I've NEVER knowing walked one mile in my life! So excited!!

Just read through you journal, and I must say you are doing terrific in spite of sickness and break-up and everything. You are just doing so great not only in loosing weight, but also with resisting the nasty temptations:) You are good on your way to a slimmer version:)

Hi guys! Just got back from my walk and I'm just so excited I had to share... I did the .71! In 17 minutes, yay! I know it's not very much for some on here but for me ... wow!

I downloaded a track from fitpod.com just to try and I found myself matching the pace of the music. Hmmm... I guess that's the point, huh ;)

I'm just so happy, I did the Rocky-style run up our front (5 :p) steps and the little dance. I saw the neighbor checking it out, he must have thought I'd lost my nut!

So instead of rewarding myself with a snack - I put some water in the fridge before I left and as a real treat... I let myself make a bit o' art for a flower swiped on my walk.
 
The picture of you in my head right now is fabulous, dancing at the top of the steps, flower in hand with disapproving neightbor looking on...lol!
Great job, keep it up!

list of reason I can relate alot to those reasons and then some lol!I listen to that headbanging music when I walk it pushes me to walk faster, I just don't headbang and walk that would take cordnation! Keep up the good work and thanks for visiting my diary. Tammy

Had a great day, Got my .71 miles and came in a bit under on my calories.

I work from home doing various freelance/commissioned designy things like web design, illustration, photography and handmade goodies that I put up on an online shop. But since I’ve been working on getting my weight in order... my work has been suffering. I haven’t put anything new in the shop, haven’t made any art work (except the photo today). Yeah, I have huge issues with balance. One great thing about working from home is that I make my hours but right now I'm getting distracted so easily and that means the pay isn’t so great *sigh* I may have to break down and get a j-o-b :eek:

Bleh, and I have to get a client to pay his dang bill. How is that he can run a business and NOT pay his dang bills?!

Tomorrows mini goal: Finish the felt sushi bar (3 or 4 more pieces), with display photos, and get it up on the shop.

Breakfast: 6oz cup of vanilla yogurt with 1/4c. Honey Bunches of Oats on top, 4oz. Hawaiian Punch (with calcium, ooo!)
Lunch: 1/2c. chili con carne over 1/4c. shell pasta, 10 baby carrots, 16 thin green pepper slices, 2T. homemade honey mustard
Snack: 1 small apple, 1/4c. mixed nuts
Supper: BBQ Pork sandwich with sweet pickles, baked beans & French cut green beans

Totals:
CALORIES: 1,269
CARBS: 178
FAT: 37
PROTEIN: 51

Water:
64oz.
Exercise: .71 miles (woo to the hoo y’all! ;))

Next time when you get home have the "Free" song by Tom Petty playing and be like Tom Cruise in Jerry Meguire(sp?) I can see it now you standing on your steps dancing and singing at the top of your lungs "I'm FREEEEE...of these pounds!!" :) Just something to think about lol
 
Way to go with the .71's! I can't wait to hear about what you'll end up doing when (not if!) you reach the full mile!
Also, I really love your designs! I like to design also, but unfortunately lack a spiffy website like yours. Meh, maybe someday, but I don't do it professionally so likely not.
Have you ever checked out It's an ongoing t-shirt design competition. I don't know if it's something you'd be interested in, but just in case, I thought to throw it out there. Anything to stall having to get a j-o-b, right? :) Best to you!

Thanks for the praise and Sifen for that link, I'm definitely going to try and put something together. Self motivation always looks great in the ol' portfolio.

Today would classify as.. cruddy. But not because of food. I woke up with sinus headache and a scary cough, I know it's because of the allergies, Thursday can't get here soon enough!

Then I went for my walk and about 1/2 way through I started getting a blister on my arch. Killed my pace and my time (20 minutes, dang). I was practically crying by the time I got home. The spying neighbor must think I have a mood disorder.

So... I went shoe shopping. Why must sales clerks always be so dang snooty?! I walked in wearing what I thought was a cute outfit - pink hoodie sweater, khaki skirt, flip-flops with manicured toes, no make-up but my hair looked nice, I don't look dirty and I don't stink - $55.00 for J-Lo perfume I better not stink.

And this a-hole woman looks me up and down curls her nose, makes a pig snorting nose under her breath to the other clerk and walks off. Is there some sort of weight limit that I don't know about? It's not like I was there to gorge on cake or something. I came for shoes. Gees, I just don't get it. Am I less human because I'm fat - *dramatic spotlight* if you prick me, do I not bleed??

I refused to turn around and walk out with shame - I would have before. Didn't find any running shoes but I found some really cute slides. And I made sure to cough my scary allergy cough right in her direction as she was ringing up my purchase. :D

Lunch: Egg salad sandwich made with, 2 whites & 1 yolk, 2t. mayo and 1T. low fat sour cream, 1 can tomato soup & a Diet Rite Zero
Snack: 1 small apple, 1/4c. mixed nuts
Supper: Pizza Burger made with ground turkey, homemade baked chips (no oil) & 5 baby carrots

CARBS: 197
FAT: 46
PROTEIN: 59

Water:
64oz. ( I know I'm supposed to drink half my weight, I do! but I just can't make myself down 162oz. - I'd never get to sleep!)
Exercise: .71 miles - woohoo!
 
stupid biotches, I hate that crap, like because we are fat we must never exercise or walk or move , what the hell, but Kudos to you for stayin there and buying some cute shoes, people can be so damn ignorant!!! but what comes around goes around, and they are ugly on the inside and that my friend is not as easy to change as loosing some weight, that takes a lot longer and a lot more effort and usually.... intervention from God!!!! keep up the great work and the walkin that is totaly cool, and i loved the rocky thing:D STAR
