I agree with all the things you say except for the cancer part :D. I think it is healthy to keep the colon clean. I usually do about 30g+ of fiber per day. I guess we can agree that it is good to keep the colon clean though. :coolgleamA:

Man the poo babies are even in MY diary! AAAAAHHHH!!!! :willy_nilly:LMAO!!
So basically if I make sure I'm getting enough fiber and eat clean, my colon will be clean (enough) and making sure my multi-vitamin has enough folic acid cant hurt either, right? I can handle that... can't do a cleansing uh-uh, no way... :puke:

Mac, I'm not losin' sh** (no pun intended ha ha)... just coasting I guess... no motivation this close to surgery... hopefully I'll get it back and then some once I'm cleared by the doctor. I suck. :blush5:

Hrm. Very interesting, this surgery business. Hope that works out well for ya.

Where might one get more information about these "poo babies"? Around here, I mean. Better run a search...
Alta's diary is the best place to get info on the poo babies... she is the poo baby queen... she's the one that started this frenzy on this forum lol!! BTW Thanks for stoppin' by Focus! I feel so honored. :D

LOL!! The pun part had me cracking up.

I didn't lose shiz either, guess I should have followed my own advice and doubled up on the fiber.

Good luck with surgery girl! I hope it goes smoothly!

I respect the fact that you don't agree.

Just thought I'd throw in a thought I had.

It wasn't that long ago that doctors said that cigarettes didn't cause cancer. Now we all know that just isn't the case anymore.

What causes cancer from smoking? All the chemicals and toxins in them. People inhale this second hand too, the body eliminates some of these same toxins out of the colon.

If your colon is just as funky and toxic, it only makes sense to me that people with funky colons are creating an ideal environment for damage to their body on a cellular level, which could create an ideal situation for cancer to thrive in.

I also remember the story about the man who told people they needed to wash their hands before surgery, because there were tiny germs on them that were spreading disease. People thought that guy was straight crazy and laughed at him!!

Point being, never believe everything you read. I guess that could be used for both of our positions.

After seeing colon plaque, I'm convinced toxic buildup putrefying in the colon is dangerous!

Thanks Jess! Just got back this morning actually. We decided to start renting our cabin out and the response has been crazy so I had to get it all cleaned out (the previous owners never took their stuff with them) and ready for this coming weekend.

You are right, surgery IS tomorrow morning bright and early... I'm getting scared now!lol... I'm so excited to be spending the last day with my pooch but I hate going under... I'll be glad when it's all over.

I don't know how I'll feel tomorrow as far as posting goes but I will definitely text MJ once I'm aware enough, and then maybe she can throw a little post on here to let ya'll know I made it through. ;)

Hey, good luck on the surgery tomorrow morning! The time is finally here :)

You'll do great and recover quickly. I know it ;)

Have a great day, and get some rest tonite, you have a big day ahead of you tomorrow.

-Sam
