I'm sooo glad you came back to us!!! I've been so lazy this week, I feel horrible!
Only three weeks till the big day for ya- get some big workouts in, you did five lbs last week, you can absolutley do it again.
 
Oh- and I like the way ya did your Hooter tag- even though my hair is huge and I'm wearing a penis name tag :)

A PENIS name tag? :smilielol5: What the hell is that? HA! And you look beautiful so shut up! You know I couldn't leave you besides, like I said, I haven't worked out once since I quit ha ha... I NEED you guys!

About the 5 pounds... I swear I lose it and put it right back on! I'm so sick of losing the same 5 damn pounds! It's like my body just wants to stay in the 160's forever... Not happy about the scale today... not happy at all, uh-uh, nope. :cuss:

Today's plan....

8:30 am 30 min. cardio
Breakfast 9am 3 HB eggs, fruit
Lunch12pm (12-15 min. walk) Tuna, Wheat Thins
Snack 3pm Protein shake, 15 cashews
Evening 15 min. walk
Dinner 6pm Fish, green veggies
8 pm Back/Biceps
Before Bed: Protein Shake if hungry

Honestly, I know my points for this week are gonna suck but I'll make it up to you ladies, I PROMISE!!
 
Okay so.... I have one of those little steppers; the kind with no handle or anything... I just put in by my computer desk and guess what!? 30 minutes of cardio WHILE reading everyone's diaries and talking to ya'll! AWESOME! My heart rate was up in the 160-170's the whole time, I'm sweating AND the time FLEW by! YAY! I accomplished two things at once! LOVE the multi-tasking lol... now off to shower, take my daughter to swim lessons and then to the new office to paint. Feelin' good.... :D

That is fricken' awesome!! Good job on the multi tasking!! I hear ya on losing and gaining the same 5lbs. I've been between 155-158lbs for months...it's just been in the last couple of weeks that I'm dipping below 155....I think I am getting over my plateau. Keep at it girlie and you'll break through too!!
 
Paula I am sooooo glad you decided to stay. I'm really anxious to see how your surgery goes because I was thinking about doing the same. I had a 23 in waist and when I got pregnant with my daughter I literally doubled in size.
Now it's just a mess of extra skin and damn it I want to be able to wear a bikini again. 23 inches may never happen again cuz that was a looonnnnggg time ago. lol But I will be happy with 25:coolgleamA:

You're my hero so glad you stayed girl. I would have cryed otherwise and you wouldn't want that would you?? hehe
 
Wow! Go Paula. Your kickin' butt and taking names my friend! I bet you will have no problem getting down to 140 if you keep this stuff up. That schedule is gangsta!!:D:coolgleamA:

know you won't be able to move much after surgery, so we need to think up some points you can get while recovering.

I was thinking that we should also have this "backup" points system for other players that might suffer an injury, or get sick, or any other reason that would apply, so that players can get alternative points in place of exercise and cardio, and the weekly bonus if needed.

We need to brainstorm some ideas....
Water, Sleep, come to mind off the top

YOU know what is funny,....is that I saw this little bicycle one...you can put under a DESK and peddle while YOU TYPE and SIT :smilielol5:....I WAS like WHAAAAT :eek2:.....

...is that CHEATING or DOING IT....hahahahha....I LOVE YOUR newwww FORMAT of CATCHING UP on both!! :) hehehehe!!!

Yeah... not sure I will get to 140... in fact I know I won't. :( That's almost a pound a day.... for 20 days... not gonna happen...

Water, sleep... I think it was Christen who suggested like a certain amount of fruits and veggies... I will have to go back and find her post... I will be completely out of commission for the first 7-8 days but I wonder if I'll be able to go on walks after that... just nice and slow but maybe... I'll consult a friend of mine who has had it done and see what she thinks I'll be able to do. :) Thanks for all you do MJ! Off to bed so I can hit the gym bright and early! Can't have HUMPS at the gym if I'm not! LOL ;)
 
I have one of those little steppers- but when I tried it under my desk I felt like an idiot, lol. AND it didn't seem to work much :rolleyes:
I remember Christens fruit n veggie post- I think thats a really good idea... I'm sure theres a ton of other ways to make it all work out, also.
 
Ha Jess... I only do it at home where only my kids can see me lol... I wasn't sure it would do alot either but I wore my heart rate monitor and my heart rate stayed between 160-170.. that's good right? And I'm sweaty! More sweaty than when I go to the gym. And when I have to bend over to type, it gives my thighs and extra kick lol...

I would seriously consider that bike thing Alta talked about though! Alta, do you remember where you saw it?

Anyway, just finished cardio and posting in everyone's diaries... I'm up pretty high in my weight (not gonna say how high) so basically I have to take this WHOLE DAMN week to try to lose what I've already lost a thousand times. Ugh... anyway, gonna work hard... Shaun is trying to lose 5 pounds and that's what I want to lose this week too! That means no missed workouts (maybe extra cardio at night) PERFECT diet and LOTS of water! I can do this! Only 19 days til my surgery... I'm not going to be as small as I wanted to be but I'm shooting for 145 for sure! That's ten over my ideal... I think that will still be okay....

Well off to shower and then work. Gotta get some phone service hooked up in the new office today... :leaving:

I know what you mean about making up ground on the pounds! You'll do it though, I know you can.
