Part Deux of Shawnna's weight loss journey :)

Wow glad to see it's going well! Where did you get these dvds from? I've looked on Amazon out of curiosity but they don't appear to sell them in this country :(

Hi Shawnnam,

Just wanted to say your progress is amazing, you look like a completely different person! I was just watching an ad for Turbo Fire this weekend and was really thinking about getting it. I have Turbo Jam and love it but think it's become too easy so I'm going to really look into it. I hope it does amazing things for you and helps you get to your goal weight!

Just an update

I am on Day 2 of the 5 day inferno plan for TurboFire. It says you can lose 10 pounds and 10 inches in 5 days. Today I measured just my waist and to my surprise it was a FULL inch down... only 1.5 days on the program and my waist is an inch smaller. HELL YEAH!

Hey guys,

So, today is the sixth day since I did Interno 5 Day Plan. I will tell you I did NOT lose 10 pounds in five days, BUT I am VERY happy with my results so far. I managed to lose almost 2 inches off my waist, 1.5 inches off my hips, 1 inch off my thighs, and an inch off my arms so 5.5 inches in 5 days AND that was with me cheating A LOT and being on my ToM.

The workouts are amazing, but intense and if you stick to them, eat within your calories, and drink enough water I have no doubt that someone could lose 10 pounds or 10 inches in 5 days.

Also, my arms are toned, my abs are starting to show, my legs are firm, and the little patch of fat I have right under my butt is going away (almost gone) from doing the workouts. I have been soooo sore everyday, but I know it is working. I think I am going to wait to start the actual 20 week program, I may start tomorrow, but today I have no time to workout and all I have been eating so far is cookies lol. So, hopefully tomorrow is my day!

Wow it's nice to hear a review of it!!! I am
def thinking of getting it!

You have done amazing! I hope this gives you the last bit of toning you want!

Charlie

Hey guys :)

So, I started my 20 weeks TurboFire program yesterday and I stuck to my calories. I stepped on the scale this morning and I am 132 down from 134.2 a week ago. Now when I flex my arms you can see my muscle a little bit and when I flex my abs I can actually feel them :D

I have been so stressed out recently because I started working, so I work 30 hour weeks and go to school more than full time, but I am still making time for ME. I will not let myself not workout because I need to do something for me. I have been making my food in advance or making things that don't take very long to prepare. Today for breakfast I had a scrambled egg and veggie sausage patty on a piece of whole wheat toast, had a string cheese for a snack and for lunch I have a 4 oz turkey burger on a whole wheat bun with alfalfa sprouts, a piece of swiss cheese, and a little bit of garlic hummus.... yum!

:) I have 5 midterms today, but after my one at 10:45 I am going to run home and do todays workout. It is a HIIT 15 min one, so I know it is going to kick my butt, but I am going to do it! I shall check in later. Hope everyone is doing great!

OH, and I almost forgot... the hardcore class i took LAST summer when I first started this journey is being offered again this summer in school so I am DEFINITELY signing up and doing it on top of my TurboFire workouts. Cheaya!

So today is day 3 on my turbofire program. Yesterday I added an extra 30 min Fire class to my 15 min HIIT class because I felt like I needed more of a workout than 15 mins. :) I must say I felt GREAT!

I did awesome on my midterms yesterday, I really think eating healthy and working out is helping my concentration and focus and giving me the brain power I need. I got a 94% on my Nutrition exam, that class is hard but I find it so interesting to know what food does inside the body, especially because I am trying to lose my fat and be fit. :)

I just made breakfast: one whole egg and one egg white omelet with red bell peppers and a veggie sausage patty... yum! I am going to do my workout in about 15 mins. Today instead of the Fire 30 class it suggests I am going to do a 45 min Fire class to add on some time to my workout.

My tummy is def getting flatter, and I am so happy about that. I HATE my stomach, I feel like it is just always pudgy looking even though I am "thin." It runs in my family, my niece is 110 pounds and still has her pudge on her stomach, just like my mom and her mom (my sister). But, I am blessed with my dads height and long legs so it kind evens out a little bit more.

Anyways, enough of my rambling. Hope everyone is doing well. If someone stops by leave a comment! I get lonely in here, Ill be happy to read anyone diary to offer support where I can give it :)

Talk to you later!

Eeeekkkkk

As of this morning I am officially 129.2 pounds! To me that is crazy! I mean I had an idea I was in the 120's already recently when I would get on the scale and it said 131 with all my clothes on and food in my stomach, but I didn't see 120's number ever read on the scale until today. :D I am so happy! I LOVE TURBOFIRE!

Don't want you feeling lonely-lol. You are doing wonderfully. I was thinking of doing this same workout or maybe P90X- this is the TurboFire one, right? Looks like it is working for you. Any negatives from the workouts so far?

I feel the same way in my diary, I keep wondering if I should keep posting or not. I actually read all of your updates and I think you look amazing and you are doing amazing! Conrats on getting to the 120's! That's huge :hurray:, Keep it up, your hard work is really paying off. I think I'm going to look for Turbo Fire this weekend, there is an "as seen on tv" store at my local mall that sells workout dvds that are seen on tv.

Aw thanks for commenting guys :) I felt like I was the only one in here, ever. :grouphug:

So, today I weighed in for the 3 month challenge and I am 127.8 pounds... that means in the last weigh in for the challenge A WEEK ago I have lost 5.4 pounds and nearly 11 inches... I really have NO CLUE how the weight just melts off, but it is.

I have not been in the 120's since I was 15-16 years old.. I am just shocked because I eat everyday and always eat when I am hungry, I drink lots of water, and do 30-55 min workouts and suddenly I am losing tons of weight.

So weird, still in shock. Hope everyone is doing amazing!!

GOOD FOR YOU!! That is a great!! Congrats. Doesn't it feel good? I think when you said that you always eat when you are hungry, drink lots of water and do 30-55 min workouts you just spelled out the secret to weight loss-lol. It is amazing how little it really takes once you are in that zone to keep losing. Keep up the good work!!

I guess I am just shocked because my BMI is in the healthy range and that is usually when weight loss is nearly impossible. Oh well, I am totally fine with it.

Here are some pics :) I just took them after my workout

WOW!! You look fantastic!! So the Turbofire is obviously working? I have been thinking about trying it- didn't know if the one you are using or P90X was better. Of course, I am a few years older than you- don't want to have a heart attack-hehe.

I would say it is DEF working :) I simply love it. It warns that people with a frail cardiac system not do it cause it is so high intensity, but if you dont have heart problems you can do it!

p90x is going to bulk you with muscle, and if that is your goal youre better off with that, but TurboFire is HIIT and just eats away at your fat, but does only toning of the muscles, so if you want to lose fat but arent looking for gains then turbofire is the way to go. :)

Thanks! I don't have heart problems- just feels like it sometimes when I am doing a hard workout-lol. I do want to add muscle so maybe I will try the P90X. I wasn't sure which one and they aren't that cheap to try it for one day and then put it away. I am glad you like the Turbofire- it helps with motivation when you love the exercise you are doing. It is sure working for you!! Keep up the good work!
