Part Deux of Shawnna's weight loss journey :)

Hi,

Good luck on the job!! I hope you get it. You have come so far!! Congratulations on the one year anniversary- maybe celebrate with a nice cottage cheese cake-LOL.

Thanks Cowboy, I actually heard back today and got the job! :) I will probably be working 40 hrs for a few weeks then it will drop back down to 20 a week so I will have one busy summer!

Tomorrow is my big day for weight loss! ONE YEAR! I am going to buy a new scale tonight. The one I was using before was my old roommates and I loved it, the one I have now tells me like 40 different weights every time I step on it and it drives me crazy.

Today is a good day!

CONGRATULATIONS!! I am really happy for you!! What a great 1 year anniversary gift - a new scale- good idea. It is good for the psyche to have a scale that is accurate. keep up the good work and nice to see you back again

Yay

So, I am quite a few days late for this, but May 5th was my weight loss anniversary!!! YAAAAYYYY!!!

I got a brand new scale yesterday that claims to be "The Doctor's Scale" for its accuracy... probably a selling gimmick, but I bought in and got one. And the results are in, as of this morning I weigh...

125 pounds even! w00t!!!!!! That means in one year and 3 days I have lost a grand total of 46.4 pounds! :D I have gone from a size 15 jean to a size 3/4 jean, I have gone from a 38 DD chest to a 32 B/C, I have gone from size L shirts to a S/M :) I have made so many changes to my body and it feels AMAZING! I also ordered a new swim suit that is SUPER HOT and it is one tiny binkini and I will gladly be showing my buns off this summer.

I will post pictures of my results as of today in a littlewhile :)

Wow you look FANTASTIC!! What a great transformation!! You are now SUPER HOT!! 125 pounds - WOW!! You should be so proud of yourself!! LOL@ showing your buns. DId you ever think you would get to this point? How does it feel? Congrats again on your 1 year anniversary. If you were able to go back and talk to yourself a year ago- what would you have said?

Thanks as always cowboy! :)

I really never thought I would get to the point I am at. I have not been under 135 pounds since my Freshman/Sophomore year of high school, so to be where I am now is so mind blowing.

It feels great, but I know I still have body image issues that I need to sort out that will probably haunt me forever. I still cant help but feel like I am fat, I look at myself in the mirror and make mental notes of all my fat areas. I know realistically I have changed so much, but sometimes I look at myself and don't think I look too different.

If I could go back to myself a year ago I would have told myself to never give up and that I am capable of anything I put my mind to. I never thought I would get here and it seemed impossible, but here I am a year later back to a whole new me.

:)

Believe me I am going through the same body image issues you are- except I am a lot older-lol. I still feel fat too, even though I have a 30 inch waist and wear a small shirt. Believe me when I say you are NOT fat- not even close to mildly overweight-haha. I think it is normal for a lot of people to look at what is wrong with our bodies rather than what is right- I think media has a lot to do with that. Too many perfect airbrushed models both male and female to make everyone feel inferior. You look great and like I said - you should be so proud that you were able to get to where you are today. There is a lot of people in this forum that would trade places with you in an instant. I asked you about what you would say to yourself a year ago so that other people can say that to themselves today so that a year from now they can meet or exceed their goal. I really am so happy for you!!

Hey everyone :)

SO I am always guilty of being a slacker... its an awful disorder, slackeritis. Anyways I have just been working my booty off, not too literally though. I got my new job at the bank and have worked about 70 hours in a week, needless to say I have been busy and today has been my first day off.

I am going to start trying to work out every day again during the summer, I really need to because I am not at the end of my journey yet! In other weight loss/body transformation news Ihave decided I am getting plastic surgery.

I have mentioned before my body isn't like it use to be, I am now left with boobs that are just so much extra skin and they are a lot smaller than they ever have been so I have made the decision to get a lift and augmentation sometime this summer. I can transform most of my body but no amount of working out can fix my problem.

Other than that not too much is new with me except I hit 124.2 pounds about a week ago :D

How is everyone else doing?!

PS: Here is a picture of my new swimsuit! LOOOOVE IT, cant wait for the beach!

Congrats on getting the new job!! Great job on hitting 124.2. Dont be too hard on yourself in the appearance department- you look FANTASTIC!!. I know what you mean about the slackentis-lol. I haven't been slacking but it feels different hitting your goal - the motivation is not there. I am powering through it though and so can you. Nice bathing suit by the way! Stay strong and you will get through the slackentis.

Thanks for always replying cowboy! I am never on here, but I have been working out more and my coworker is going to kick my butt in weight lifting. Time for abs, yeah.

Doesn't matter that you aren't on here anymore as long as you are still working hard-lol. But stop by every once in a while to let us know how you are doing - ok?

Hey guys,

Sorry I am such a slacker! I have just been working a ton and doing summer school, which isn't any fun. I have restarted South Beach Diet and TurboFire and am about a week or so into it.

I am moving in August and start school and my internship in August too. Busy, busy!

I hope everyone is doing well! I am doing okay, I am now at 124.4 pounds which is my lowest number yet :) I will try and keep everyone updated!
