Those messups are going to happen. ANd yeah.. we're gonna feel guilty/bad about it, but the thing we all need to learn is to get back on track ya know? :D

You have been doing great! Its going to take time to reverse our thinking on comfort food(me too). But it was one Boo Boo, and you do walk alot.:) So big deal, (don't be so hard on your self)Think about what you have done so far. You are Kicking some booty girl! Stay positive, Because you deserve to be Happy! :p
 
Today: baked apple with 1 oz cheddar cheese, 2 eggs with 1/2 oz feta, salad with balsamic vinegar & feta 1/2 oz, 2 slices of french bread w balsamic vinegar. Can you tell that I love cheese!

i love cheese too! on my crackers, bread, and even mushrooms! yummmy!:p
oh n over my dory fish too!

Your so cute:p We are hear for you! I know you said you were not ready for challenges, But you should check out "Hershey To Christmas Town Challenge"
The challenge is to walk, and all you need to do is figure out if you walked a mile or so, and every time you walk you subtract the miles from 500.
No pressure at all. And You walk already(why not). Think about- Its fun :D

Hey you two - I've been discovering sparkpeople and love it! It it the best thing for weight loss I've ever seen!

I'm back on track, the last 2 days were 1000-1200 calories of healthy food. I
walked/jogged 1 hour both days (about 5 minutes of a jog - starting slow).

24 crunches, 24 wall push ups & 24 hip flexes yesterday.

8-12 glasses of water the last 2 days....okay this is the key to not being hungry!

I think I already lost another lb or soon but I'm not weighing in till later. Feeling so alive! :)

Wowie! You are doing super great!! I love spark too, that site was a real life saver for my dieting. I had no clue where to start until I went there.. and yeah water is key.. never believed it before but now if I miss my water I get sick! Have a great Day!!!! :D:D:D

Thank you all for the encouragement..it's so needed! :)

OMG sparkpeople is so great...it even shows you in animation how to do exercises. There is so much to it! It also makes you really want to get those points!!! I think those points are pointless (lol) but I really want them! :) I probably have a lot of newbie enthusiam though.

Today..the water was not so good. I just forgot about it for most of the day (4 cups) but I did miss it!!! I kept at around 1200 calories with lots of healthy veg. & fruits. I really need to cut out caffiene and alcohol though as those are just empty calories. I do a little more fat & protein than SP suggests. I guess I still have that anti-carb thing in my head from Atkins!

You know the truth is that there is so little science in nutrition that it's pathetic. :rolleyes: Eggs were so evil at one point then that changed. Same goes for milk. Then the carbs and exteme low fat diets (I once went on a NO fat diet! :eek: ). It's all is a bunch of nonsense and made for one reason - to get rich at any cost to other's health! I will only believe one thing for the rest of my life...small portions (never eat till your stuffed!), lots of veg & fruit, water, always whole grains, lean meat/fish/poulty, the less processed the better...good food in small portions and exercise. It's not rocket science but we make it way too complicated! Thanks for that rant! :D

I did a 55 min. walk (few min. run). My shins hurt so bad though...I can't even walk up stairs properly. I think I'm going to try to walk on grass whenever I can.

Last year I had arch supports made so I could slip then in and out of what ever shoes I wore. And now my feet/calf's and back don't hurt ever:p
(I sound like a commercial) I don't know if they have the "good feet"stores in your town, but it could help you. I went to Sparks last night and I was confused. I think It was me. I will try again tonight-LOL-:rolleyes:

I just don't like it I think to cut out any food group alone can't be good. But to cut down is ideal. I want to not only fall off the wagon but I would love to just into some chocolate today! UGH!

Speedy, I eat chocolate now! Just a few squares though and only dark! I used to eat milk chocolate only but I just recently bought some dark hersey's special something or other and it satisfies what I want. We've all heard it is good for you too (the dark kind)...who knows about that though. I only eat 1-3 squares in a day and only if I really need something sweet. Needing sweet things are an addiction I know but I hope to satisfy the cravings with fruit soon. I actually got a fresh pineapple the other day and had a cup. Oh it was so amazing tasting! I thought for sure I had consumed 200 calories or so but I think it was about 70 or 80. I was happy!
