OMG sparkpeople is so great...it even shows you in animation how to do exercises. There is so much to it! It also makes you really want to get those points!!! I think those points are pointless (lol) but I really want them!

I probably have a lot of newbie enthusiam though.
Today..the water was not so good. I just forgot about it for most of the day (4 cups) but I did miss it!!! I kept at around 1200 calories with lots of healthy veg. & fruits. I really need to cut out caffiene and alcohol though as those are just empty calories. I do a little more fat & protein than SP suggests. I guess I still have that anti-carb thing in my head from Atkins!
You know the truth is that there is so little science in nutrition that it's pathetic.

Eggs were so evil at one point then that changed. Same goes for milk. Then the carbs and exteme low fat diets (I once went on a NO fat diet!

). It's all is a bunch of nonsense and made for one reason - to get rich at any cost to other's health! I will only believe one thing for the rest of my life...small portions (never eat till your stuffed!), lots of veg & fruit, water, always whole grains, lean meat/fish/poulty, the less processed the better...good food in small portions and exercise. It's not rocket science but we make it way too complicated! Thanks for that rant!
I did a 55 min. walk (few min. run). My shins hurt so bad though...I can't even walk up stairs properly. I think I'm going to try to walk on grass whenever I can.
