One More Time...

Hi! Remember me, lol? I have been MIA for the past two months. I ate horribly during the holidays myself. My mom is trying to lose weight and both sets of inlaws (his parents are divorced) are trying to lose weight, so everyone kept giving us the desserts to take home! They figure my husband will eat it. But what really happened is while he was at work I would sit at home and eat it all before he got home! :piggy: Believe me, it was bad.

I'm in the process of organizing everything like you did. I'm working on my closet right now. It's a jungle in there! I'm ready for a fresh start with the weightloss and a lot of other things in life.

I got the Kinect for Christmas too! I went out and bought it for myself along with the Dance Central game. It got rave reviews so I had to have it. It's a super fun game that really gets your heart pumping, plus you really don't have to know how to dance to have fun. The game teaches you the moves at your own pace. And the most hilarious thing ever is that during your performance of every song, there is a freestyle section where you do whatever you want, and the Kinect takes a bunch of pictures of you very fast, and then plays them back in like a super fast video. It's so funny! It has a workout mode too, but I haven't tried it yet.

I will have to look into the fitness game you have. I was thinking about getting some kind of fitness game and there is quite a few out there for the Kinect already.

I would strongly reccomend the your shape fitness evolved game. I am seriously loving the cardio boxing routines, especially since I unlocked the harder routines. it's a lot of fun, my arms and legs hurt and I burn calories. The only thing I don't like about it is a minor thing. sometimes it tells you you're "out of rhythm" and you really aren't. but thats about it.

Okiedokey.

I've got a pound and a half to lose until I'm back to pre christmas weight. Thank the lord. I'm so close. Plus I'm much more motivated to work out now that we have the kinect. Though, I'm still prefering that no one is home when I do it though! lol. :)

As I'm sitting her writing this, I am seriously tired. I just finished 3 complete workouts on the Kincet (your shape game) holy rusted metal batman, my legs are going to hurt when I can finally feel them again! :p I never would have thought that I would enjoy this game so much, but I love it. It gives me a routine to follow rather than just me making one up as I go. I love love love it. best christmas present EVER.

Anyway, the scale this mornig finally said 222. AT LAST. I just kissed good bye to the last of the weight I gained over christmas break. Thank the lord. I honestly thought it would never leave. :)

Hope you all have a great day!

Thanks for dropping by my diary :D Also, congratulations on hitting 222, wo0t :D My brothers got a kinect for Christmas, a lot of fun!

Everyone got fun games for Christmas it seems! I got 5 pound weights and an exercise mat, but those are so not as fun, haha. Congrats on losing the Christmas weight, I bet you'll lose even more super fast now that you've got the Kinect.

it is! I am so much more willing to work out when i have a set routine given to me by the game. the only thing is I wish it had better music! lol

I'm hoping so! :)

Anyway, i've been going over more of my crap, and yesterday I got rid of even more clothes that no longer fit me because they are too big! I also was wearing clothes that I haven't worn in forever! I think now, I am starting to get excited about being in my friend's wedding. I am actually going to the Wedding Expo with her on Sunday. :) Should be fun. Am not confident that I will be another 30lbs lighter by then, and I am planning on being sexy. :) BUT not as beautiful as the bride will be! I swear, every time she talks about the wedding and her fiancee, she glows. Its nice to see.

I was ready your previous post and I had to have a laugh. during the holidays, my family usually goes CRAZY with food. Eating everything in site. Then I read that you gutted your room. My room after Christmas is FULL of junk food, and if I had to gut mine, I would eat all of those amazing chocolates I love so much. >.< Gah. I'm so glad I decided to start this directly AFTER Christmas. Now I have all year to work on my will-power to say NO! ;3

Grats on your journey so far, I hope you reach all of your goals! :D

Oh my goodness Xorie!!! Last time I checked your diary which was in October (laptop broke!!) you were 240 - now you're early 20lbs lighter!! That is AMAZING! such an inspiration! well done that's is truly amazing. I wish I was 20lbs lighter too!! Haha sounds as if you're going to be absolutely gorgeous at your friend's wedding - congrats again! really chuffed for you xx

how have you been?

Thanks! Willpower is one thing that I think will be a constant battle for me... My brother has a friend who's uncle works for Nestle, and he's constantly bringing over boxes of candy that doesn't make it to the shelves... my goodness it's REALLY hard now to stay away from the 3 muskateers and M&M's. Especially the dark chocolate peanut ones! lol.

how have you been?

I'm glad you're back! I've been pretty good lately! Lost another 20lbs, like you saw, and I'm hoping that tomorrow I will be under 222. *crosses fingers* I'm having so much fun on the kinect that I cant help but want to play all the time! It's great. I'm hoping to be gorgeous at the wedding, and I promise I'll post pictures! But first, I need to break 200lbs. God I want to be in Onederland sooooo badly! I know that if I stay true and keep myself honest, I'll be able to do it. :)

So, I was REALLY good today. I even made chicken alfredo with broccoli for dinner for my mom and me, and I only made enough pasta for one serving for both of us. And, I had water instead of milk. I exercised for 45 min on my Kinect, and MAN my legs are sore! Lots of squats and lunges in today's workout! My only thing is that it doesn't count some of them because it says I'm "out of rythm, when I'm really not, but eh, whatever, I know that I'm doing them. lol.

My sister was home from college this week and when I came out yesterday morning to the kitchen, she said. "Wow Jacqui, you're looking good. Its really noticable now that you threw away all your baggy jeans." AND a friend of hers said later that day. "You're looking thinner everytime I see you!"

....

:D

Made my weekend. :)

Hey Xorie, how's it going? Like someone here said, "Just keep going you can do it". Way to go on the exercise. Sounds fun. You are working harder than I am, I'm just walking.

I think my favorite part of losing weight (besides the getting healthier part of course) is fitting into those old clothes you haven't been able to wear in forever. I am just getting to that stage, once I lose 10-20 more lbs I will able to fit in SO much more of my old clothes. I can't wait, lol. Good for you! You should be proud while you're strutting your stuff in your non-baggy jeans!

Walking can be just as good. And it's more relaxing than me yelling at the xbox because it wont count my lunges! lol.

I am looooooving it!!! I have a few pairs of jeans from when I was a junior and I was wearing a 14. That's my next goal, to get into those pants again! :)

Yay for compliments! They make all the difference, don't they??

They totally do! I'm super energized now and more focused on behaving. I love the comments, and will do everything right so I can get more! lol.

Was good again today. Hoping for a great week so that I can drop some more weight. :)

Well I'm feeling pretty good about myself. :) I just went 3 miles in 35 min on the elliptical on resist 3. :) AND I'm not exhausted! That's whats the best part. If I had done that 3 months ago, I might be thinking I was going to have a heart attack! It feels AWESOME!

Alright. I have done it. I have finally broken the 222lbs mark! Thank the Lord! I'm now officially 221 WOOHOO.

Had to put that up. I'm finally past that stone wall I liked to call 222. I am hoping that now I will be able to continue with my good habits and be able to keep on the downward trend!

I am also noticing that when I exercise a good amount in the morning, my mood is much better for the rest of the day. I think because of that, I'm going to try and get in a good hours worth at least every other day. I felt great today, and the only thing that was different was that I put in 40min on the elliptical this morning. :) Twas fun.

anyway, hope everyone had a great day!

Ok, so I did not get my cardio in as I wanted today, BUT I did work extra hours, all on my feet, lots of walking. So that will have to suffice. Ate well. Even went in with a friend to the convience store and she offered to buy me whatever I wanted and I said no thanks! AND in the car, she offered me some BBQ chips, and again, I said thanks, but no thanks!

Willpower: 2 Temptation: 0

Am going to get up in the morning and do some elliptical and maybe some Kinect boxing. Probably a little of both if I have the time.

I did what I said I was going to do! The alarm went off, and rather than me chucking it across the room(which I've done before) I got up, ate a good breakfast, then went and did some Kinect. I quit after a while though because it wouldn't register me doing it in time (which I WAS) and it wouldn't move past the tutorials of the new move. So I hopped on the elliptical and did a mile and a half.

Now I'm all showered and I feel ready to face the day! Have some errands to run before work and then an old friend is coming over and I'm making dinner. Should be fun times!

No more 222! :hurray: I know exactly how you feel, my current number barrier is 173. Everyday I'm 173.X. I love visiting with old friends. Hope you had a great time!

I know you'll get past the 173 bit in no time. :)

I'm at 221 still, but weigh in is on Monday, and I'm hoping for 2lbs lost. I want to be 219 SSSSSOOOOOOOOOO baaaaad!

Alrighty, so over my time farm sitting, I was good and bad. I bought my dreaded taquitos , but only ate a third of them before getting disgusted with myself. so I gave the rest of them to the pigs. :) Everything else was "healthy" but I ended up eating too much more often than not because I was bored. So, the final two days I kept myself busy. riding the ponies, then giving them all haircuts. (They are Norweigian Fjords, so I gave them all moehawks)

Anyway, I went running with my brother yesterday, and man, I ran much faster than normal trying to keep up with him. (he's 6'2 and long legged, and I'm 5'5 and all torso) I even ran a bit up the hill that had an angle like / then I ran some more after walking a bit, then practially flew down the hill trying to keep up with Chris. Afterwards I threw up I worked so hard. I haven't done that since jump camp for volleyball. it was kinda funny. I'm going again on Monday, so I am hoping that with my good behavior this weekend, and the extra run, that I'll be at that 219 mark on Monday.
