One More Time...

226 this morning! YES! I finally broke that 227 mark, and hopefully, I can keep going down from here again. 5lbs until I'm out of the 20's, so that's my goal right now. just 5 more pounds. I pulled out my old prom dress and hung it in my room. it's a size 15, and I want to be able to just get back into it. So Its hanging in my window, so I can see it pretty much everytime I walk into my room. hopefully it will help with my motivation.

225 with no wavering on the scale! Woohoo! Now just 6 more pounds until I'm done with the 20's! What do you think, six pounds by new years? That's a little over two weeks, so about 2.5 pounds a week? Oh yes, I have confidence in me! :p

A few friends have commented on how I'm looking thinner, and how as I loose the weight, I'm gradually becoming a happier person. It's nice actually. :)

anyway, am hoping for a great week, and I can't wait for christmas! :)

So I was pretty darn good today if I do say so myself.

AND, when I was at work, my boss came outside, and told me when she first saw me, she didn't think it was me because of how different I look. (I stopped wearing baggy sweatshirts). I have to admit that I was beaming like a fool, and it totally made my entire day!

And I realized as I was dealing with everything, that I only need to lose 6 more pounds until the total weight lost is the same as a bag of stall pellets! DAMN! that's crazy!

Really glad to hear its working out for you Xorie - once you start getting comments and feeling so much better about yourself, its like...the momentum just keeps on going and you don't look back! So, well done so far and keep on!!

Thanks! And I have to say, I don't mind the compliments! :p

Anyway, woke up this morning, and decided to jump on the scale, just cause.

224! woohoo! Now I'm going to try and stop getting on the scale everyday, but I have to say it does keep me focused throughout the day, just so I have in the back of my mind my weight.

Am hoping for 4lbs this week, so it would be great if I can get to 222 by monday. Monday is "official" weighin day.

Anyway, hope everyone has a great day!

So I am really focusing on trying to make sure I get everything I need to eat in a day. My protiens, veggies, fruits, carbs and so forth. I want to make sure that i'm not starving myself of anything. And, I'm listening to my body more. When I'm hungry, I eat! when I'm not, I dont! if I find myself in the kitchen because I'm bored, well then I grab a glass of water, so my stomach feels full and I can easily ignore my head telling me to eat just cause.

I can't believe how much easier it is now to say no to things, like junk food, candy, fast food, ect ect. I feel like I have at last cut the strings that attached those things to me. I swear to god I'm so happy to be able to say NO! and mean it the first time.

I do have a test coming up on Sat. It's a high school choir reunion thing, and its going to be a pot-luck. Everyone is bringing something. So far i know of pizza, fried chicken, pasta, cookies, sweet bread, potatoe salad ect ect. All easy stuff to throw together and bring, BUT OH SO BAD FOR YOU! so I'm going to go prepared, and bring a sandwich of my own, and a HUGE water bottle. I will allow myself 2 cookies, but that will be it. i've come too far to let myself down now!

anyway, I hope you all have a great day!

thanks! :)

So today is official weigh in, and.... 222! A solid 222 on the scale this morning! WOOHOO!!!! that means just 3lbs stand between me and the 2-teens! I really still am having a hard time accepting that I've come this far on my own (with all 'y'all's support of course! :)) It makes me think that 200 isn't really that far off now.

anyway, I'm going to be good today, and tomorrow, and the next and the next! :) I've been doing a lot of christmas baking, but I havent had any of it! Over thanksgiving, I had said that I didn't want to gain weight that week, but this week, I think I will still hold to my goal of losing. Just because it's christmas isn't an excuse, but I'm super duper happy right now. :)

Saw your thread bumped up on the new posts and came by to say hi :) Wow you're doing so good!! I just restarted and can't wait to get some momentum going myself. Thanks for being so inspiring!

:D Over thanksgiving I gained, but I'm back on track now! I'm going to get over to your diary soon, I promise!

So on my list of goals I want to accomplish I have now finished 3 of them. I just ran 3 miles non stop!!!! WOOHOO!!! I think I do want to start training for a 5 K, and then a 10k, and then maybe a half marathon. I'm actually pretty stoked that I could run the 3 and then felt like I could have kept going and going. :)

yesterday morning and afternoon I was golden. I kinda got carried away in the evening, with cookies and milk and other bad stuff for me, BUT I got on the elliptical this morning and did another 3.2 miles. According to the machine, I burned 591 calories while doing it too. :) So, if I behave myself today, (which I will) I'll have pretty much erased yesterdays' hiccup. :)

Hope you all have a great day!

YAY!!!! Great job, you don't even need to train to do a 5k, you could go out and complete one tomorrow if you wanted to! I had done at least one 5k without walking before I completed the distance on my own. I'm happy to see someone else getting addicted to running!!!

*sigh*

Alright. so you know the whole goal thing about losing weight over christmas? Yeah, that went out the window. I gained 5lbs... *smacks head repeatedly on desk* I totally screwed up, and then continued to eat unhealthily.

BUT the holidays are over now, and I'm ready to get back on the wagon again. I gutted my room, totally cleaned it all out, organized my stuff (sheet music, files, books ect) and I went through all of my clothes and gave a lot of it away. Oh, and I cleaned my fish tank. :) So, I'm hoping that with all of this, It will help me get a jumpstart back into my healthy lifestyle.

One good thing though is that for christmas, my parent's got everyone the XBOX Kinect. Holy crap that thing is AWESOME. It has my mom playing it and being active more often than she ever has before, and she wants to keep doing it. (THANK YOU MICROSOFT!) We got this game called "Your Shape: Fitness Evolved" and it's pretty good. There is a "trainer" and you have different options, for strength training, cardio, or tai chi, or whatever. And then, it counts your calories, and encourages you to keep going.

My personal favorite is the boxing workouts. They are fun, and tiring at the same time, and I'm only on level one! :)

Anyway, I just wanted to pop back in here and say "I'm still alive!" lol

Hope everyone had a great holiday season!
