Good job you are back on track after the weekend!! :)
Your food chocies are looking good again!

Way to go! Good exercise too!! I love sore muscles - the feeling of accomplishment!!!

I agree with Justina, your food choices are looking good! I keep meaning to try making a green smoothie instead of juice. You've inspired me to try this weekend!

I miss the sore ab feeling after a good workout... Those are muscles of mine that NEVER get worked, so when they do I certainly feel it! Great job on all the exercise!

Great job getting back on the wagon Katie. I've found that weighing everyday would determine my mood. If I had a loss I would be excited and if I had a gain I would be discouraged which would lead me to tossing in the towel on the whole day. I started weighing once a week because my weight would seem to fluctuate so much. This has definitely helped me I think. Also, great job at getting back into the weight training. It will do wonders for you! :) Keep it up!

Just checking in! I hope everything is going well. If you're struggling, just remember that tomorrow is a new day! :)

Hi slickzchick! Great job on getting back on track. I also love tzatziki sauce. I never buy it premade tho, I usually make it with yoghurt, cucumbers, salt, black pepper and garlic. It's the only way I can tolerate yoghurt.

Hi Katie, just catching up on your diary. good job getting back on track (it can be hard!) I love that tired/sore but awesome feeling after a good workout! , makes you feel like you have definately achieved something.
Hope all is going well for you

I know its been forever since I posted here, but I thought it was time to check back in to the 'ol diary. Yesterday wasn't great for food, I ate some pretty unhealthy foods and also had some drinks. But I've been eating very clean for the past two weeks, and I'm back on track today, so I'm trying not to be too hard on myself. Saw the results though on the scale this morning- up to 213.8 from 212 yesterday. I'll have to be extra diligent if I want to get to my ambitious club challenge goal of 208 by next Saturday.

This weekend is gonna suck because its Tough Mudder. I did it last year, and I'd already paid and registered for this year when I found out that I wouldn't be able to participate because of this small medical procedure I had at the end of last month which prevents me from being able to go in the water :( I'm transferring my registration to the Seattle tough mudder in October, but it just sucks because all my friends I signed up with will be going to do it and I feel left out. Hopefully I can get some people on board to do Seattle Mudder with me.

Hey! Thanks for hitting my thread...I hope you will keep posting...I think it helps. Good luck and stay with it!

Thanks for stopping by my diary.
That's too bad about the tough mudder race, but good job on eating well the last 2 weeks!

Hey Slickzchik, third time offender here!! Good on you for making a comeback on the forum. I restarted my journal today also and am feeling amped all over again. I cant help but think why did I stop coming by.

213 today... trying to get back down but its been 213.8, 213.2, 213 :p atleast its still going in the same direction but can we amp things up please! Tonight I'm planning on making cauliflower mashed 'potatoes' for the first time so hopefully that turns out good. Well I'm off to the gym!

Welcome back! Seems a few of us have slipped recently, but we're all getting back on track. Just keep staying the course with healthy foods and exercise and you'll be fine. I've learned to not put so much value in the number on scale through this process. Are you also taking body measurements? That might be a better way of showing progress, that and just an overall "how you're feeling". Keep up the good work! :)

Its a shame you canb't do the tough mudder course, it looks insanely fun, but maybe you can sign up to a run or something that won't involve getting wet?

I keep on hearing about caluliflower mashed potato, and you can also make something out of it that you bake, and it turns out kind of like popcorn... But I haven't actually ever got round to making it.

Have just read your diary. I know its shite when you have regained. I have too... But THIS is the time, where we are going to really actually properly do it. This isn't going to be one of those times when we get tempted and fall off the bandwagon.

Like you said "fat clothes shopping" is no fun. Won't it be great to go shopping right now and get a strapless casual mini dress, and just walk down the paement in it, looking fantastic, maybe getting a few beeps from cars going past. Thighs not rubbing together, face not sweaty because oif the effort of carting out fat about in the heat.

What sort of exercises do you do at the gym?

212.2 today! Was really hoping to get under 212, especially because I weighed in at 212 on last sunday :p But i know weight fluctuates and last week I had high losses this week not so much but I'm still going in the right direction. Slow and steady wins the race right ?!?!

Garlic Mash Cauliflower turned out great! Seriously so good consistency and taste just like creamy mashed potato goodness. This is the recipe I used:

I highly recommend trying it! I added a little extra Parmesan cheese to mine. And I've got lots of leftovers so I'll be able to enjoy it for the next few days :)

Food yesterday:
1. 3/4 cups of 1% cottage cheese
2. oven roast chicken breast with teriyaki glaze and cauliflower mash and a salad
3. some 'cocktails' with vodka and crystal lite

If I had skipped the alcohol I probably would've seen better results on the scale this morning! I'm such a social drinker I'm really trying to kick that habit and just stick to water- not worth the empty calories!

Exercise Yesterday - 35 mins on elliptical

Mandy - yes your right I should take measurements! The scale only tells you so much

Rainbow - for exercise I usually do 35 minutes going hard on the elliptical. Sometimes I'll switch it up for stairmaster. I also do weight lifting but not nearly as much as I should. When I started weight lifting my bf and I would go together but now because of my schedule I don't have any gym buddies and I don't like doing it alone. I really should just suck it up though because the results are great
