On my way to 63kgs

Well my friends have decided that instead of going to the party dressed as Flinstones characters they want us to go as Plump Pink Pixies!!!! That means pink, lycra leotards. I really don't think that I am ready for that yet!!!!!! The one nice thing was that they said that I would need to pad myself out a bit to be plump enough but they obviously haven't seen me in lycra yet!!!!
By the way the theme is anything beginning with P in spanish or english(Flintstones are Picapiedras in Spanish).
I don't mind looking ridiculous but I didn't lose all this weight just to go out looking fat. I think I will keep the cavewoman costume ready just incase.
Yesterday was a very bad day eating as it was my daughters 21st birthday and she got to choose what we ate. She chose pasta carbonara made with cream, bacon and cheese as that was something we used to eat virtually every week and haven't eaten for a year and of course birthday cake which was a cheesecake.
Also my sister is taking me out sometime soon for my birthday which was last week and then we have my daughters party with all the party food. Other than that it should be ok for the next couple of months, with not many temptations.

Ditto on the belated birthday wishes! Hope you had a great day!

I think Pink Pixies sounds great, but not PLUMP! You've worked too hard to do that! The cavewoman costume definately sounds better if that's the case!

Thanks for the birthday wishes :)
Well we've come to a compromise. Instead of lycra we are making little shift dresses, not too short with tights under them, and wings, wand and head dress. I refuse to make myself look fat and this should be ok as it will hide my biggest part, my tummy and show off the not so bad bits :)
These are the wings that we've ordered. I promise to post photos however silly we look as we are only doing it for fun. :)

HEY! My twins each have a set of those! One has purple and one has pink though. They love dressing up.

You are going to look absolutely adorable!!!

Hey Ecky thanks for visiting my diary. Happy belated birthday.

I see there is a lot less of you since you began your diary. That would be evident in pink lycra wouldn't it? It would be kinda fun but you have to be comfortable.

Hey Ecky, read the post about your daughter's 21st...
while it's probably not as delicious and obviously not as plentiful, there's a Lean Cuisine chicken carbonara with sauce, mushrooms and bacon (endorsed by WW) that's pretty good for you.
It's how I get by every week; try it if you haven't yet!

And happy belated b-day!

I live in Spain and we don't get lean cuisine here and only get a few of the WW meals. I wish we got that one though, it sounds great.
Thanks to you and Justina for the birthday wishes :)

So when exactly is your dress up party? I'm eagerly waiting for pictures of you in your adorable little costume!

You haven't said much about your little group of friends exercising together lately. How has that been doing? When do they all go back to work again?

I hope you have a great week!

:iagree:

Hey Val :) Came by to check on ya and say hi...and yea look for pics :D That costume looks pretty cute.

I saw your comment about the WW meals...you could probably find the recipes and make your own. So funny the most excitement I have in my life is find in my life atm is getting my cooking together. And I'm too stressed to even do that this week, lol. Thanks so much for your support recently, it means alot.

The party is on the 4th of Feb. It 's exam time at the uni for the next 2 weeks so she can't do it until then even though her birthday was last week.
My friends are driving me mad. They all want to exercise but they always have an excuse or come round with unsuitable shoes for walking so that we can just sit and drink tea. I've told them to commit themselves to 3 times a week starting this week and they are supposed to be coming tomorrow so we'll see. At the beginning of Feb we are going to start aquarobics 3 times a week. I still haven't got my treadmill that my husband is buying me for xmas as we had a money crisis just before xmas so hopefully we can buy it next month. I can't wait to get that and get running again.

That's too funny...make them get a spare pair of exercise shoes and leave them at your house! No excuses then for sure, lol. I used to have a gym bag in my trunk...back when I was more dedicated and had a really great gym to go to back in cali and funner places to walk. Ah see? I'm queen of excuses too :X

Ecky!! Maybe you and your friends can get a massage or go shopping if you guys do a certain amount of exercise! =) Might be motivating! Or threaten to go w/o them! Ha ha! Hope you're doing well otherwise. Can't wait for spring! Know we have a ways to go though...

Oh Ecky!! Have I been experiencing similiar things lately. My friends have all been complimenting my happiness, and then when they ask, I tell them it's bootcamp and working out! They all say they want to come. Until minutes before they have some excuse. Yet for dinner and social hour, they are very on point! Ayyyy Ayyyyy. LOL!!!

I'm telling ya!
