Hey Ecky!! Paella sounds yummmmmmyyy! =) Wish I had some! lol Jealous of all the marvelous seafood you used!! And what are the dresses for?? Sorry I've been out of the loop!!

soccerrox - It's for my daughters 21st birthday party. It's fancy dress and me and a few of my friends wanted to go as something really ridiculous to give the youngsters a laugh, so decided on Plump Pink Pre Pensioner Pixies as the theme of the party is the letter P- :D

Just to say that I won't be checking in for a couple of days. I will be too busy cooking party food all day today and tomorrow. Then the party will go on until probably 5 in the mornings so won't feel like doing anything on Saturday so I'll tell you all about it (with photos!!!!!!) on Sunday.
Eating will be terrible as we will just eat some of what we are cooking which will be sausage rolls, vol-et-vents etc. and as there will be at least 6 extras stopping over on Friday night I will probably send out for kebab or pizza for lunch on Satuday as I won't be any state to cook for 10 people.
I'm hoping that the fact that I am so busy and all the dancing at the party will compensate for it a bit but if not then I will just have to go careful next week.
Shame really as I'm now back to my ticker weight.

I think it's great that you have made those costumes & are prepared to entertain your daughter & her friends. I think most people are inclined to be way too serious. Good for you Val. Have a ball. You'll get rid of any extra weight quick smart as you have the smarts to do it. Love the look of the Paella. Yummy! xo Cate
 
The dress looks cute, and the fish dish looks yummy too, I just don't like fish. If you took pictures down load them so we can see.

Sorry I've not been here for a while. I had 2 friends that came out as a surpise for the party and stayed for 9 days. They left yesterday after a wonderful time so back to normal now.
The best thing is we went on lovely long walks everyday and as they also wanted to lose weight eating wasn't as bad as usual when I have guests.

The party was amazing we had so much fun. Not many pics of me at the moment as my sister took all the photos and then flew off to Vegas the next morning. She was going to upload them to facebook from there but her computer won't work so I hope that the photos can be recovered or I will be so dissapointed.
The party went on from 8 oclock until 4 oclock in the morning and just about everybody of the 70 to 80 people dressed up.
I'll attatch the photos that I have got of both me and my daughter. My daughter was a princess and then a pirate and as you all know I was a pixie :D

I am finally able to order my treadmill which is a birthday present from my husband. It should arrive next week and I can't wait. I can't leave the house in the mornings because of my dad and I will be able to get the exercise in now before he is even up. Woohoo, I can finally start to lose the rest of the weight. I'm a lot more disciplined with my eating when I exercise as I don't want all the hard work to be for nothing. I put on a little bit with all the party food that was about for days but have lost it already. :)
I'll gradually start to catch up on diaries now. Looking forward to seeing how you are all doing. xxx

Sounds like you all had a blast! And congrats on finally getting your treadmill - I know you'll love the convenience of having that at home! I sure do!
 
She wanted to be a princess but it wasn't practical to dance in all night so she had another more comfortable outfit to change into :)

The treadmill is now ordered and should be here in a couple of days which probably means Monday!!
Had a great day yesterday. I had a few friends round and we played Wii on and off all day. Used up quite a few calories and laughed for hours. :D The Dance on Broadway was a lot of fun.

Val thanks so much for your support. Was having a pity party cuz I see some people, who I've taken the time to post in their journal often, and they are on everyday but can't be bothered when others are needing the support. Guess thats me being a tad emo lately but I'm tired and if not for you I'd have prolly quit this forum. You're a gem and much appreciated!
